Unable to view files on iPhone

I am unable to view files that I have saved in my adobe cloud storage on my iPhone. I save a file in my cloud account at adobe and when i pull up the Adobe Reader app, I can see the file listings, but when I try to open a file, nothing comes up.

"...when i pull up the Adobe Reader app, I can see the file listings, but when I try to open a file, nothing comes up."
Do you see anything on the screen?
Or is the screen completely blank (actually, white)?

  • Suddenly unable to view files on iPhone through Explorer?

I've had the iphone since it first came out and have always been able to browse the files on the iPhone directly, using windows explorer. Both XP and Vista 64 it showed iPhone as an additional drive that is browsable.
Now it shows up nowhere. Is there something Apple has changed that is causing this?
I need to get a video off the iphone onto my computer. All the options to do this from the iphone forceably truncate it, or "compress" its quality. I want the original file, untouched. How do I get it now?
    Thanks

Photo and video importing does not take place within iTunes. iTunes does not even need to be installed to do this.
So its not possible to move files from the phone onto a computer using iTunes iPhone sync? That seems like an insanely huge design flaw. Most people don't even know about browsing files using windows explorer. How do most people get files off their iphone?
Sorry to ask the obvious, but is there something in the camera roll to be imported?
Well yes. About 40 photos and some videos that I have taken with the phone. After all, thats why they put a camera on the phone in the first place - i cant imagine they have no automated method for exporting the photos?
Did the iPhone disapear from explorer after installing any new software?
Valid question. But I plugged this phone into two other computers that don't even have itunes on them, and neither of them are showing this phone in the windows explorer screen. It absolutely did used to appear just like your screen cap showing the little iphone icon, on my main computer. It simply stopped working on my main computer, and does not work on the two other computers. This is why I assumed Apple did something in one of the iphone updates.
Something is definitely different. I used to plug the phone into the USB and within 2 seconds it would identify the phone as a digital camera. I'd even get a windows popup asking me if I want to browse the files, or import to photoshop, etc. None of that happens now.
All it does is this: in the bottom right corner, a little white rectangular icon appears with a green bubble that bounces around, while it says "installing device driver software". This message bubble slowly fades and disappears. The green bubble continues to bounce around the icon. When I double click the icon i get a poup in the bottom right corner of my monitor saying : "Digital Still Camera" and "Searching for preconfigured driver folders". After about 1 minute, a second gray icon appears next to the first icon. It looks like a computer tower or something. It has a green checkmark circle on it. The phone then vibrates twice as if its just connecting to the computer for the first time. The 2nd icon disappears, while the first remains, with the green circle bouncing all around it. This repeats and repeats with no progress made.
Does it appear as an 'imaging device' in device manager, or as an autoplay device? Anything listed under 'other devices'?
Device manager shows a "Digital Still Camera"
Under Imaging Devices I just have my standard "sony Visual Communication Camera", nothing else
There is nothing under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
I dont have an "Other Devices" in my device manager list.
I dont see it on your screen cap either.

  • Unable to view photos on iPhone 4S

    Hi,
There are some photos which I am unable to view on iPhone 4S 64 GB. When I open those photos it opens up with a white screen but I am able to view those in the camera roll. It only happens when I open the picture to view it in the normal size. This photos are taken from the same device. I've performed Reset, refresh but its still the same.

  • Unable to view files from windows share

    Hi guys,
I am wondering if you can help me out. I have 10 mac ocnnected to a windows domain. Five machinies are OSX 10.5.8 and five are OSX 10.6.8. The problem I am having is I can connect to the windows share via smb but I am unable to view the files. I can connect the server and see the folder listings but I am unable to view the contents of each directory. The users permissions are fine as they can log into a windows PC an are able to access the files as needed. I have tried different user accounts and all are getting the same issue. Each account has admin rights as well. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue before?
    Thanks in advance!

files like movies or pdf files. Under the apps section, I can't see any way to transfer files.
Also do I need to completely sync my ipad, if i click sync then after a while it says can't sync all the apps present on the ipad

  • Unable to view files on my local site folder

I've set a new Testing site in Dreamweaver CC and directed the local view to a current folder which has all my files on. However when in Dreamweaver I can't view the majority of the files and am therefore unable to load to my testing server or change the code within a file.
I've tried reloading the local folder, moving it around but each time I go to Dreamweaver the files do not show in the files box.
I have a couple of other sites directed to local folders and they seem to be ok although on checking there does seem to be a similar issue with one folder.
How do I get Dreamweaver to recognise all the local folders and the files I specify and allow me to change them?
I have looked at FAQ's and other questions but cannot find an answer although it may well be in there somewhere.
    Any help appreciated
    Thanks

    Here are two screen prints;
first is what is seen in DW from the testing server, the second as seen in DW from local server.
I have checked the directory of the testing server and all files are there, just not showing in DW.
The local root folder path is C:\00-MAP Website-Local.
I've checked the folder and hidden files is clear.

  • Unable to view files which are more than 4megabyte from microsoft word

hi, i had this problem after updating to latest os for my iphone..
my mailbox couldn't open files that are larger than 4mb anymore. whenever i tired to open the file from my iphone4, the mail app will crash.
    please help me!

Just checked the model of card youre using by Hardware ID
    PCI\VEN_02&DEV_0002&SUBSYS_00A02&REV_0A = SB0220 SBLi've! 5. Digital,
and I think if this is correct, you'll may find some other frustrationed owners asking the
    same question you have.
    Have you tried these drivers
    and/or
    these drivers
About this issue you and the others are having:
    [url="http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/board/message?board.id=soundblaster&message.id=4670" target=_blank>See this thread[/url]
    BTW:
You perhaps can install Audigy 2 drivers and software to your card. Here are the instructions how to do it.
It's quite easy process. Download Audigy driver/software package (~20MB) (link is there), extract it into some directory. Download the patch (link is on Automatic Method sentence)and follow instructions how to patch the instalation package. Then installation process. I've modded my Audigy 2 to Audigy 2 Zs using a similiar method and everyting else, but GraphicMixer, works great.

  • Unable to view files after using "Migration Asst".

I "migrated" my files from my old G4 to my new MacBookPro. Now I CANT VIEW my old files on my new Mac. I get a msg that says, "The folder “Pictures” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents." The files all have a red-sign. This applies to all the files I had transferred.
What I've done so far: I tried renaming my old G4 to match my new MacPro, but it did the same thing above. Migration Asst makes it sound so easy, (and basically it was) to transfer files, but it appears to me that a new "account name" is automatically set-up for the migration. I just want ONE ACCT, and to be able to read the files that have been transferred.
    What did I do wrong?
    THANKS!

check this go to setting>>apps>>all>>camera>>clear data and restat your phone and watch
Do not forget to give kudosand to select the correct answer

  • Unable to view files on PC laptop with XP

I want to be able to view my laptop (XP SP3) files on my Mac (OS X 10.6.7), but it is not happening. I am trying to set up a wireless network. I've set everything up on the PC to enable sharing (created a workgroup, set sharing permissions, etc.) I know the 2 computers can see each other, since I have "ping'd" them successfully. But when I try to "connect to server" from the Mac I get a message indicating that "the server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time." I know I have the IP address correct (I've also tried using PC name, as well as the name and file. It seems like it should be so easy, and I must be missing something. But what is it?

You can find some good guides on sharing with WIndows XP here:
    http://macs.about.com/od/macwindows/tp/filesharingmacwin.htm
The guides refer mostly to Leopard, but it should work find with Snow Leopard.
If you looking for Win 7 and Snow Leopard sharing, you can find that here:

  • Network Drive Mount Unable to View Files

I recently purchased a Buffalo flexnet 1TB drive for my parents. Both of them use Windows, and mount works fine for the two of them. I, however, have two machines on which I use Arch. I'm having trouble mounting the drive on my own machines.
One, I named the drive netdrive, but when I try to mount it using mount -t cifs //netdrive/share /path/to/mount, it says it can't resolve address for netdrive. It works, however, if I use //hd-celu2-ed4a/share which is the default drive name. //netdrive/share works on the Windows machines, and I don't understand what's going on.
Two, if I do mount using the IP address of the default server name, it will successfully mount, but I can't see any of the files on the drive. If I do "touch test.txt", I can see the file on the windows side, but I can't see it form Arch. This is the same on both of my Arch machines.
How do I go about mounting this thing successfully, so I can view and edit file and such? Less important: how do I get it so that it mounts with the proper name? I would be plenty satisfied to have the answer to issue two with or without issue one solved.

Until someone knowledgeable about cifs and windows shares chimes in have a look at man mount.cifs.
Perhaps trying different combinations of user, password, uid, gid, etc may get things working.
There is a little info on the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Win … work_Share

  • Unable to view music on iphone

So I am new to this whole iPhone thing. I am trying to get music onto my iPhone and although I can see it when I click on the iPhone within my itunes (on the left under the phone section) on the computer it is not showing up on the phone itself. How do I fix this? I have tried to delete the music and readd it to the phone, restart the phone as well as my computer yet nothing has worked as to be able to get the music on the actual phone itself. Please help. Thank You!

You are trying to access the music with which app on your iPhone?
You are manually managing music with this selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, or are you syncing music with this selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?

  • Unable to view files on external hard drive. Progress Bar

I have been deleting various files from my external hard drive and now I cannot see the remainder of the files. Although the Trash is empty, it still shows there is something there and I get a small window that shows progress bar. I can still see the external hard drive files via spotlight, so they are still there. I have tried
    Force Quit
    Restart
    Shut Down
    Forced Shut Down
I feel sure that has something to do with the Trash?
    Please...Any Ideas

I have the exact same problem.

  • Iphoto unable to view files

I run OS X 10.8.2 (12C60) and iphoto '11. I have updated recently to lion and my library has been wiped but i did back it up using library manager.
I have now tried to import my photos back into the new library, they import fine but then will not show up at all, then if i close iphoto it is as if they havent imported at all, i just dont want to loose 4,000 photos!
    Many thanks!

The place for the iPhoto issues are here: https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/iphoto  Btw, always ALWAYS have a copy of your pictures in their original format (JPG, PNG, TIFF whatever) stored EXTERNALLY and independently of your program as well as your operating system. That way, 5 years from now you'd still be able to see them even if you use any backup program and regardless of what else has changed.
