Unable to view rented video

so I rented a movie on my ATV last night and when I tried to play it the screen just showed white. No picture, no sound, nothing. I'm sure I'm being charged for the rental but I wanted to know how to get someone to take action on a rental that fails to show properly. You're only give 24 hours to view it so if that never happens how can you go about not being charged? I sent a message via the service an support mechanism on ATV help but haven't received a reply. Help! I really enjoy this feature when it is working but if I don't have an avenue to resolve these little problems promptly I can't see myself continuing to partake.

Unable to view music videos in iTunes on mac

I have iTunes on a G5 Mac Pro It is on the latest version of 10.5 with the most recent update to iTunes. I am unable to view music videos many of which I purchased from the iTMS or came with music CD's as extras some are m4v others are mp4.
If on import I set the option for format as being Music Video I cannot get the videa to launch double clicking on the video gives a picture in the album cover window but does not launch the video viewer nor does the video play. I dont often view music videos just Movies or TV Shows and last time I did I recall Music Videos playing they opened in a seperate window and there was once a setting in preferences where you could choose if a video launched in a new window or used on in iTunes.
I have used the info window to change the video type to standard movie and then going back to the file in iTunes double clicking launches the video in full screen mode. Once I then set back to Music Video it reverts to refusing to play.
In any format the file plays in Quicktime
Any suggestions pointing to where the problem may lie would be welcome. I cant see any relevant settings to set how a video displays in either menus or Preferences other than ensuring video window stays on top. It maybe in one of the many upgrades this Mac and iTunes has had the settings have been corrupted.

They will not show up in a separete category in iTunes. This is because the videos will show up as songs so that you can play the audio portion of a video without the video. Try it.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

Safety Mode - unable to view youtube videos

Hello everyone
We are having an issue with being unable to view youtube videos.
The message comes up saying that we can not view the video because the computer is in the safety mode.
I have a K9 filter on the laptop and I am pretty sure that what I am trying to view is not at all risky so this is a bit of a pain and inconvenience. How do we exit the safety mode please? And what could be the reason that the computer is in the safety mode. Thank you.
As well as that, if I wanted to take my laptop to be looked at and to have a bit of a spring clean where would I take it? We have had it for three years now.

Have you tried reinstalling the update?
Please connect your device to Nokia Suite and reinstall the current firmware from the updates tab. If that does not do the trick, please fully back up your data (Tools > Back up). And hard reset device: type *#7370# on the keypad. Default lock code is 12345.

Unable to view streaming video

I could view a streaming video using following address rtsp://138.133.71.2:554/file/ when using Quicktime 6. However, I have upgraded to Quicktime 7 Pro and I am now unable to view the streamed video. I am using Windows 2000 on a PC and streaming the video from a camera through a DSP Board to the PC. (The PC is not connect to the Internet)

Download the Flash Player Uninstaller and Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers) by right clicking and selecting "Save Link as".
Close Firefox.
Run the uninstaller.
Run the installer to replace the plugin.
Open Firefox and click Tools>Add-ons.
Check under Plugins that Flash Player is "always activated".
If it still won't load, check your other plugins. There may be an ad blocker that's preventing it.

I've tried all the troubleshooting from Firefox's troubleshooting guide to no avail.
I'm unable to view videos that require flash.
I can watch YouTube, but I have to enable flash first.
This has never happened before, but now it won't go away.
System: Windows 7 (64-bit)
Adobe Flash version: 16.0.0.287
Browser: Firefox 35
An example of videos that I used to be able to watch were from the Arrow and, ironically, The Flash TV shows.
Now this is the error I receive:
CWTV requires Flash Player 10.2.0 or higher.

Why am suddenly unable to view YouTube Videos on Firefox. I am still able to view on Internet Explorer

I am not able to view any YouTube videos on YouTube or Facebook whilst using Firefox. My Flash Player/Plugin/Shockwave Player & Javascript are all the most recent and all show as up to date and working. On selecting a video to view I now have a blank screen which I have right clicked on & notice there is an Adhoc Plus - Block Image message and wonder if this should be there as this is not the case when viewing through Internet Explorer (which still allows me to view all videos & shows that I have Flash Player installed when I right click on the same screen). I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to see if this would solve the problem but this has made no difference. I have also noticed on my Firewall that Javascript is not showing as an Exception and changed this to find that this has made no difference either. I am now at a complete loss - can anyone help me please as I would like to keep using Firefox. Many thanks

There are a number of active threads concerning the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (13). Not all users are experiencing the same issues, but things to check include the following:
- Conflict with Realplayer Browser Record plugin (to disable this, open Add-ons from the orange Firefox button or the classic Tools menu and look under the Extensions and Plugins categories)
- Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 Adobe Forums: How do I disable Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?])

Unable to view any videos. Constantly buffering

How can I stop the buffering , unable to watch any videos. Please help.

All video content disappeared. I did a restart on my computer and everything was working again but it has come back. I don't know if i can see DVD video as I don't have an optical drive on this computer.

I have a new iMac (about a week old) and suddenly, I can't view any video content. I have reinstalled Flashplayer numerous times and a window comes up saying the install was successful but I still can't view anything.

This morning it was fine, now I am not able to view any video's on Youtube, I followed the information on your blog under the flash player options and it did not work.

Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or
Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie and refresh page if above does not do it.

Unable to view .asf video

I could use some help. I just got a new MacBook after a having gotten frustrated with the PC world, however the transition has been frustrating.
My problem is in viewing and hopefully being able to edit video I have recorded on an RCA Lyra 2780 DVR. The clips (of a medical procedure) play on the recorder and my work PC (Windows Media Player).
My MacBook recognized the DVR (ie I could see the files listed) but when I tried to play one or import them into iMovie I got the "Error opening movie" message. After reading some posts I downloaded Flip4Mac software and was able to click on files and not get the error message any longer but when the Quicktime window opened and I hit play the timer began to count down but no images visable. When I try to import in to iMovie it works on opening the file but get to "less than one minute remaining" but never finishes.

Microsoft ISO MPEG-4 V1, 320 x 240, Millions
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

     Press the "Delete All" button
    Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

Adobe says installation complete and flash is installed but when clicking on a you tube video it says I must install flash player. Why? If it is already installed?
