Unable to view web-based videos

For the past few days, I have been unable to view web-based videos with the exception of YouTube. I am running Windows 7, IE 10, and am using Flash Player ver 11.8.800.94. Have tried using Beta ver 11.8.800.115 with no change. I have run 2 different anti-virus/anti-malware programs, and nothing was found. Have un-installed/re-installed Flash Player several times, and still receive messages telling me I need to download Flash Player. My system shows that I am running Flash Player 32-bit, but no videos besides YouTube will play. have been in contact with Microsoft for assisstance, and have followed all their suggestions, but still no luck. I am down to rebooting my laptop from scratch but thought I would see if you might be able to assisst me first.Any suggestions?

  • Unable to view web-based applications

I have made a small program using Measurement Studio for VB(VB 6).It is a very small program which uses a knob control and a slider control.I have made the Web page and other files using the Package and Deployment Wizard as told in the Application Note which is available in the Meas Studio help.
I am able to access the web page and see the embedded Application from other computers in the Local Area Network which has got LabVIEW installed in them. When I try to access it from computers which does not have Labview, I am able to see the web page. but the embedded application is not visible.
    my question is :
    1) To see the web baswed application thru a browser is it required to have any Run Time engine or plug-in like the Labview
Run Time engine which is required to see the Labview VI when published as a web page ?otherwise what-else could be the problem?
    2)Question No.2:
Does the Meas Studio for VB or CVI has got any real-time version or real-time capabilities? is it possible to do Analog I/P and Analog O/p using my Real-Time card PCI 7030/6040E using programs written in Meas studio for VB or CVI ?
    3) qust. No.3:
I am not seeeing any Intensity chart in Meas Studio for VB and CVI.Is it not available in these two environments?

    Hello
When developing web components, the necessary files should be downloaded automatically when you get to the web page ( kinda like a web page that uses flash or quicktime components). If you did not have any errors while packaging the components up, you might want to make sure that the your security settings on the web page allow you view activex controls. And also check this link for general issues with the PDW.
    Answer 2:
You need to have LabVIEW RT to run code on a 7030 board, because only LabVIEW can target it. You can write dll's using CVI that would run on the RT platform, but you would still need LabVIEW to run the code. Measurement Studio does
not have any support for RT at this point.
    Answer 3:
    Check out these examples

These are examples of making an intensity plot using the 3dgraph control.

  • Web based videos (youtube etc) have no sound and then stops after 4 seconds

When i try to play a video clip from any web site, the video plays with no sound for exactly 4 seconds, then it stops.
I can 'scroll' the time line anywhere, and the video plays from that point for another 4 seconds -still without sound.
Ive tried to upgrade to the lates version of flash player, and no difference.
This aplies to all web based videos that uses a flash based video player.
I'm using the Linux version of flash player on a Acer laptop with intel CPU and graphics, the computer runs Kubuntu Linux V11.10 Oneiric Ocelot kernel version 3.0.0-12
    Any ideas?

Hi sorry for the delay in responding.
I'm not using any client side code as far as I am aware.
I think I should have said: Flash CS3 video Encoder, as I am
running both Production Premium Creative Suite 3, and also CS3 Web
    Premium.
All I did was convert some AVI files that went through
Premiere Pro CS3 and After Affects etc, in Flash Video Encoder. I'm
    not doing any live streaming.
THe FLVplackcomponent is the one generated in Dreamweaver
CS3, I choose Insert / Flash Video and choose the Streaming
options, I fill out the rtmp details ( I have another thread on an
issue there as a firewall blocks some of the files and I cannot use
    rtmpt) and it works!!
If you have a suggestion for a better workflow or precedure I
    would appreciate it.
It is just this one FLV file that seems to do this. I have
since chnaged this one file to Progressive and it plays fine.
    I hope this helps.
These files are then placed in the applications folder in
    Flash Media Server 2.0 directory.
    This works fine

  • I am unable to use Web based Note Editor in my Ipad

I am unable to use web based note editor in my ipad whereas it is working in my Mac Book and Iphone. Can u plz help?

So are you saying that when you go to the same web page as them, your browser shows something different to what their browser shows them ?  Can you literally email one URL back and forth and get different results, or is the URL different for different users ?
Do you have to log in to anything on the web server to get to that point ?  Might it be that your account doesn't have the same access their account has ?
Can you try letting them use your iPad temporarily and see whether it continues to work for them ?

  • Logitech c615 with iMac & web-based video chat

How do I get a Logitech c615 to work with web-based video chat sites? Works with Skype, Face Time, etc. Can select it in Chrome browser but still uses builtin cam. Would use the builtin cam but your adjustments are tilting/twisting the monitor and moving closer/farther from the monitor. Really?! Is it possible to set an external camera as default for web-based video or is it yet another regret I have from switching from PC?

on a related topic - I have the same camera but I can't hear people when I facetime - it's ok with Skype though
    can you help?

  • Unable to view web page no matter what browser i use

Ok on my MacBook i am unable to view a web site no matter what browser i use. If i go to another computer in my network i am able to view this site. If i take my laptop to another network it will still not work.  I have run permissions and disk warrior. I did try a few things with onyx as well but was not so sure what i was doing. Any suggestions?

    What is the error?
The DNS cache could be stuck.
In the Terminal try:dig www.macupdate.comIt should reply that it is 70.86.154.194.
If that doesn't work, you DNS is not working and pointing you to the wrong place.
You can try clearing the DNS cache with dscacheutil -flushcacheAlmost forgot to mention: there are several threads on similar problems.

  • Web-based video capture and detection using web cam

    to anyone:
is it possible to capture video and detect motion using a web cam in a web based application?how is it done?
if not possible, what solutions can you suggest so that i can put it on a web based application?
    tnx for the help..

    Ironman wrote:
I'm sure it could be achieved by capturing individual frames, say one every second or so, and then doing a checksum on the image bytes and compare it with the previous frames checksum - if they were different then the frames are different and therefore motion can be assumed. If you don't want to check the entire image you can choose a tile, say in the centre of the picture, and checksum this. I use this technique to detect frozen images if CCTV cameras are causing problems. This other thread may also help :

Wow, now that is good idea. I guess you don't need external hardware to check for movement. Brilliant!

  • Cannot view Web Gallery video in Safari 3

I have created videos with iMovie '08 and posted them to my Web Gallery. When I try to view them all I get is the "spinning wheel" indicated that something is trying to load but never does. This occurs in Safari 3 running in Leopard with QT 7.2.1 installed. I can view them in Tiger, as well as with XP and Vista with QT 7.2 installed. Any thoughts?

Same thing here on iMac (Intel) running 10.5 and Safari 3.0.4
Works fine on my Macbook under 10.4 and Safari 2.0.4
There must be more people with this problem. QuickTime and Flash player is up to date.
Rapairing permissions is a problem in Leopard right now. Works fine with Camino and Firefox under Leopard though.

  • Unable to view web content on new Itouch

When I connect to my email provider-comcast-and try to read my email I get a message on the Ipod screen that I need a new version of Flash. What's up with that? How can I install that on my I Touch? Also, I can't view the Apple orientation videos on my unit. They just show up as boxes with the little red x in them. What should I do?

as far as the red 'x' that means its a new window or something, try to touch the white box...
about the flash-- you need to wait will febuary for develpers to make flash and/or java for the iPod Touch...
try www.mail2web.com to check your mail... type in your email address and password and it should login.. many of my friends need to use this because their webmail is flash based..
It works with almost anything except yahoo because you need to pay for yahoo...
