Unable to watch 3 movies I rented. Please help!
I rented 3 movies through iTunes to watch on a trip I went on. While on the airplane I went to watch them on my iPad through the videos app and it told me none of the movies I had rented could open. Does anyone know why this happens? During my layover I was able to watch a movie because my iPad was connected to wireless, but I thought you could still watch them without wireless. If anyone has any advise on this please let me know. I have paid and been unable to watch 4 movies so far on my iPad. Thank you!

I have just formatted by toshiba hardrive to Mac OS extended as recommended so I could upload movies onto it from my mac however I am now unable to watch these movies through my set top box like I could previously. How can I fix this?
Check the box's documentation to find out what drive formats it's capable of reading. Very few, if any, non-Apple devices natively support drives formatted as Mac OS Extended.

I recently was unable to watch a movie I purchased & paid for because my credit card was out of date. Surely you cannot take access to items I have purchased away from me if I do not own a credit card? Does this mean that I will no longer be able to view purchases if I decide to cancel my credit card. If this is the case, I will not be purchasing movies from iTunes again
We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it will need to be valid. If you don't have a card to replace it with then have you tried removing it from your account ? On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.

Are you still facing the same error ? If yes, are you getting this error everytime you are trying to export ?
Please try again and check.
This is basically a compilation error , where files are not converted into proper format correctly.

I rented a movie tonight and transferred to my ipad---it is showing on my ipad but I am unable to play the movie---what
is up?I have found that renting a movie directly on an iPad works best if you plan to watch it there only. You don't seem to need an internet connection to start watching it. BUT if you but the movie on your Mac or Windows machine using iTunes then transfer it to your iPad, you MUST be connected to the internet to start watching. It must need to do some sort of extra validation with the iTunes store. I had a movie that I wanted to watch on a flight. Tried to watch it on the way out but no go. Just before heading out for the return flight, I pulled up the movie while on a WiFi connection, and it started to play just fine. Continued to play after the flight took off.
