  • HT1657 unable to watch movie rental as it freezes and skips

I purchased snow white and the huntsman but unable to watch it because it freezes then it skips.  How do I fix this so I can watch it before the time frame expires?

I just went into my account in itunes and clicked on purchased history, clicked on report problem, then i selected "reported problem" by the movie rental.  I guess I'll see if iTunes responds to me by either fixing it, or reimbursing me the $5

  • Unable to watch movies

I'm new to apple.I'm facing issues while watching movies..it automatically gets paused.plz suggest.

You watch movies in the video app.
iTunes is only a link to the store for purchasing media.
Are the videos downloaded to the iPad?
    Are you streaming the videos?
    Where are the videos from?

  • Unable to watch movie on iPad because not connected to Internet.

I rented my first movie from the iTunes Store yesterday and downloaded it to my iPad 3 to watch on a flight today. But after we reached altitude and we could turn on our electronics, I was unable to watch the movie because I wasn't connected to wifi or cellular data. If the movie was downloaded, why would I have to be online to watch it?  Kind of makes the iPad useless for watching movies on flights, and since I've seen other people doing it, something must have gone wrong.  Can anyone help on this?  Thanks.

Yes, it fully downloaded. I don't have any other movies. This was my first shot at it. Thought I'd give it a try as I had a 4-hour flight today. I was in airplane mode, of course, and when I tried to start the movie I got a message saying I wasn't connected to wifi or cellular data. So I had to read the u s airways magazine five times (ugh!).

  • Using Apple TV. I can watch a movie preview but unable to watch movie because DCP compatible. Why?

I can watch the preview but says can't purchase the movie because it is not HDCP compatible. Why?

Apple are not here, only fellow users. It's not Apple's choice as to what films are available for rent, it's the film studios that specify which countries Apple can have their films available for sale and/or rental and in what format (HD and/or SD).

  • I have authorize my computer yet I am still unable to watch movies.

Hi, I have recently found my old I-pod with my old account on it which got hacked. With this account I purchased some movies. Now when I got to watch them it tells me to aurthorize my computer, which I have done (tells me on my profile on I-tunes) Yet, when I go to watch said movies it keeps telling me to authorize my computer.
    Cheers.
    Jed.

Sorry you haven't received an answer, or the search results weren't helpful. You do not need to save all your favorites again individually.
Incomplete importing sometimes happens (example of past thread: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/835144 Only 1/3rd of my bookmarks imported from IE. How do I move the rest?]). Could be related to the number/depth of folders, but I'm not sure whether anyone has definitely identified the cause(s).
For best results, export from IE to an intermediate file, which is in HTML format. Then import that file into Firefox. It will be a folder on the Bookmarks Menu, and you can use the Organizer/Library dialog to rearrange them the way you want them.
The following pages give the steps:
    * IE: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Import-or-export-favorites-in-Internet-Explorer Import or export favorites in Internet Explorer]
    * Firefox: [[Import Bookmarks from an HTML file]]
    Success?

  • HT201318 I purchased more storage, and it shows on my iPad. However I am unable to download movies I purchased. Help?

I purchased additional storage on my iPad 2 and it shows that I now have it, however I am not able to download new movies.  Help?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Movies are saved on your iPad storage, not iCloud, so you won't be able to download the movie if you haven't got enough space on your device. Open Settings > General > Usage, and delete things from your device. Contact with Apple if you want to get a refund > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact

  • Unable to watch movies in iTunes 9 - freezes on start

I received some iTunes gift cards for Christmas, so I downloaded and installed iTunes. After redeeming a gift card, I purchased and downloaded a movie. When I click on the movie the player comes up, but then nothing else happens -- the timer never advances from zero. I have tried this on two computers running Windows XP, both Compaqs. I have tried every solution on the Support site, including uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, and still no joy. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and been able to solve it? As of now, I'm stuck with gift certificates I can't use, plus I paid for a movie twice which has now expired. I would appreciate any help you could offer.
    Thanks,
    Randy

Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas what to do?
    Thanks,
    Randy

  • Unable to watch movies on Netflix!

Hi everyone. My problem begins everytime I try to play a movie on Netflix. I can navigate without any issue, but as soon as I try to play any movie it takes me to the System Compatibility page:
    Complete System Requirements
To watch instantly, you''ll need a computer that meets the following minimum requirements:
    Windows
Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Vista or Windows 7
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher; or Firefox 3 or higher; or Chrome 7 or higher
    1.2 GHz processor
    512 MB RAM
    Mac
An Intel-based Mac with OS 10.4.11 or later
Safari 3 or higher; or Firefox 3 or higher; or Chrome 10 or higher
    1 GB RAM
Chrome OSA Google Chromebook with Chrome OS 13 or higher
Which in review, I meet all the requirement (Macbook Pro 2.2GHz Intel, OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8, Safari 5.1.2). I tried using Firefox and it takes me to the same page. I already contacted Netflix Customer Service and they told me everything is working acordingly, and the issue seems to be my Laptop. I'm scratching my head but I can't think of the issue that keeps me from playing movies. Any help is appreciated beforehand. Thanks for your time.

  • HT4539 Unable to download movies previously purchased under I-tunes

My I-tunes shows 4 movies that I bought, however when I go under videos it says that there are no videos. When I go under I-tunes it only allows me to download one of the videos (the other ones, the download symbol it's grey out) After it says it downloaded that one video, it still doesn't show under videos

What instructions are your using ?
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be redownloaded in all), and if you haven't changed countries since buying it (and if the rights-holder hasn't removed it from your country's store), then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes. If you haven't authorised your account on your Mac's iTunes then you can do so via the Store > Authorise This Computer drop-down menu option at the top of your Mac's screen in iTunes.
Or, and if you still have the music on your iPad, connect it to your Mac and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy it over

Apple TV 2; You can use AirPlay, start the movie on the iPad, tap the AirPlay icon in the control bar and select the Apple TV.
Apple TV 1 & 2, connect the iPad to the iTunes library on your computer and sync the movie back to iTunes, then select it from your home library on the Apple TV.

  • Unable to view movies in full screen

I am unable to watch movies in full screen mode. When I try and select it, I am simply taken back to the itunes window, but the movie audio continues. I can watch the movie at any other size. What's going on?

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
    1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
    2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
    3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
    4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
    5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    If none of these help:
    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • I purchased movies on my iPad and unable to watch on my Mac or Apple TV

I purchase movies on my iPad and unable to watch on my Mac or Apple TV

If you purchased them, you should be able to download them to your Mac as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519, as well as watch them on your Apple TV.  If you rented them on your iPad, you won't be able to transfer the rental to your other devices.  To do that you have to rent them in iTunes on your Mac.
