Unable to watch rental, have updated Itunes
I have watched many rented movies on Itunes, but when I try to watch my most recent download, the video window pops up showing a black screen, it plays less then a seconded of sound, and then itunes freezes. I updated Itunes and I still have the same problem.
I am able to watch other movies that I have bought from I tunes. It seems to only be my most recent download.
Could the down load be corrupt? Is there a way for me to try re-download the movie?
I now only have 22hours to watch the movie, and I don’t think I’ll have time latter to day to watch the movie, is it possible to get my money back?

I have updated itunes to 10.5 then without looking at the store or anything synced my phone, it then said IOS 5 was availible so I just did the "download and upgrade" option as usual. I now have the phone connected to itunes and it just´says Iphone on the left bar and when I click on that the large window just says the same, it will not let me restore my phone or access the store. The phone is just saying connect to itune, which it already is and will not allow me to my home screen. I have no idea what to do but am desperate for my phone for work. PLEASE HELP!!!
It took about an hour to upgrade my iphone. You're also left a couple of times with a blank screen on the iphone whilst it does things in the background which is a bit confusing. Suggest you wait - it starts doing things again (like reload your apps and then your photos etc) after you think it's finished. It's finished only when it says it is.....

Try:
- iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I saw this post at about 2:05 becasue I had the same problem. I just tried it again and now the update is downloading! just wait it out. I had to wait about 3.5 hours.

It could be that your button has justy gone out. You may try getting compressed air to blow out any dust in there. If that doesn't work, you may have to get your button and ribbon replaced.

Hm... Strange.
I had reset the iPhone.
I tried disabling the auto-launch of iPhoto, and...
...when I plugged iPhone in, it started to freeze iTunes, but after a minute or so, the iPhone started synching. I found this odd because I had disabled auto-sync (I press Sync in iTunes when I want to have it Sync).
Now, of course, I do want auto-launch of iPhoto back on, since I like it for when I attach my digital cameras. I hope that when I set it back, it won't re-introduce the problem.
The restart I did may have helped. I resist restarting because my wife's account is often open and she frequently leaves unsaved files up, so it is a pain to respectfully close out her work and then restart. -

I am getting an error whilst trying to play a rental. It briefly (as I assume) attempts to connect to iTunes to start the rental, then it says "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (5103)."
I have the absolute latest version of iTunes and rentals have worked in the past.
I really want to watch this rental tonight - I have no other chance to. Any suggestions?
