Unassigned nodes in the Stock report

Dear Gurus,
 We designed a "Stock Overview Report -Vendor wise".Now,we got 2 issues.The report output is as follows:
Vendor Batchno. MaterialNo. 0quantityTotalStock
 ABC HA123 MAT001 -20
 HB124 MAT002 -10
Unassigned HC120 MAT003 40
 RESULT 10.
Checked in MB5B,for each material and the values(-ve stock and Unassigned stock)eg..(-10+40=30),values are right.
Issue1
 Why do i get these Negative Values for stock against Vendor,whereas there's no Negative values against Unassgned??
 Issue2
 Client(SAP Consultant aswell)! doesnt want the "Unassigned"node and goes on to say that the report is wrong ,if Unassigned gets displayed!!
Am really stuck up with this for more than 2weeks,still unable to move ahead.Any Light on this would be really appreciative.

Problem in the stock report

Hi all,
We have stock report.There is one problem in the report.We are using
"2LIS_03_BF" and " 2LIS_03_UM " as data source and " 0AFMM_C02" as info source.
When i run the report with material as row its giving me the correct result.But when i pass plant into row then it shows me only few plants. Only option to check the stock at plant level is that i have to select all the records. this is working in the development server but not in produciton... as there are many records... in the production...
i am not able to understand what is the logic behind it... its happening even if i create a new query....
Can you suggest me any option ...

How to do authorizations on unassigned nodes for hierarchies

Hi,
Is there a white paper from SAP that shows how to do authorizations for unassigned nodes for the hierarchies? Or has anyone completed this challenge and would be willing to share their approach and strategy?

The characteristics are 0COSTCENTER and ZDEPT. The Hierarchy structure should be
-Test Hierarchy
--Cost center 1
---Dept1
---Dept2
---Dept3
--Cost center 2
---Dept4
---Dept5
---Dept6
--Cost center 3
---Dept7
---Dept8
---Dept9
Etc.
We have transaction data where a certain Cost center doesn't have the department and when displaying the hierarchy there would be some unassigned nodes for the BW report.
What would happen if the following hierarchy is in place and I am trying to do authorizations for the 0COSTCENTER and ZDEPT:
-Test Hierarchy
--Cost center 1
---Dept1
---Dept2
---Dept3
--Cost center 2
---Dept4
---Dept5
---Dept6
--Cost center 3
Where cost center 3 has no department for it?

Stock report for a specific date.

Hi Gurus,
Can any one please tell me if there is any option is SAP by which i can get the stock status for a particular day. I mean if i want to check what was the stock report on last week some day, is there an option in SAP to do that. This report should give the stock of that day and any movements after that day should not be included in that report, for example if 10 quantity of a material was available on 26/03/09 and 5 were either moved or consumed, can i get the status in past for 26/03/09 today as quantity 10 rather than quantity 5 which is available today.

Standard stock report for Stock Commitments

Hi gurus,
Is there any standard report available to see the Stock like Reserved qty,stock transfer,scheduled for delivery against each batch in a same transaction like MMBE.
In MMBE by selecting the Read Stock Commitments indicator we can get.
the constrain is here we can able to see against only one material.
if i goto MB52 i am not getting the above said stock type.

MMBE can be used as a report for individual material & MB5B is very useful Transaction Code as stock report for multiple material. It requires to be explored more & more, so that most of the stock report as per requirement is avialble.

Stock report widget

On my wife's MacBook Pro the stock report widget now refuses to do more than retrieve the chart. I've re-installed the OS but that didn't fix it. Minor annoyance but does anyone know what's going on? And if there is a solution?

Dataset error on CUIC stock reports

Hi,
Am getting "Dataset failed Database Failure" for some of the stocks reports not all reports (getting error for Agent not ready, agent team his all fields, agent SG historical all fields). But the reports which we customized is working fine also the reports which we save as from UCCE folders is giving an error.
The Data Source connectivity is fine
Value list status if fine
We have changed the DB password (its same).
I heard from some of my friends that restarting Intelligence Center Reporting service will fix this issue but I don't see any such things on cisco . Please let me know the steps to bring it back,
Also it would be great if you explain what this Intelligence Center Reporting service responsible for as I don't see any documents related services in CUIC.

The error message shows that the transaction log for tempdb is full. This is an issue on your AW/HDS database, not an issue with CUIC. "tempdb" is a system database used by SQL server.
From your AWHDS system, in SQL Server Management Studio, try this:
Run this SQL query:DBCC SQLPERF('logspace')
If the "Log Space Used (%)" is high on tempdb, you can use the CHECKPOINT command on the tempdb database to clear up some space.
Other options would be to restart SQL Server Service on the AWHDS, or perhaps allocate more space to the tempdb log file.

Could you explain the situation where you need to get the stock report based on UD code?
To my knowledge if the material is not batch managed, you cannot divide the stock received from two different orders based on UD codes.
If the material is batch managed, you can get batch stocks along with UD codes (of the latest inspection lot pertaining to the batch) in to a customized report.

How to get rid of unassigned values in the report

hai to all,
here is the issue,
while running a report(sales per country), iam getting the data,after that when i drill down on sales document number iam getting some unassigned data, with Sales document number as #, and some value in the keyfigure.what is the reason behind this?
Here is another issue that i want to find all the sales documents which have the value # in the report?, is it possible? the same case with Customer country, on the same report.

Hi Shyam.
Regarding the first issue: Well, you've loaded some data records into your cube where the "Sales Doc Field" is empty. Did you load through PSA? The best way to scan your PSA (I believe) is to find the underlying table and have a look at it via SE16. In this way you don't have to scan through every data single package. This can be done via "display data flow" from your cube and switch on technical names. There you have it. (It's called /BIC/B00...etcetc you might have to add i few zeroes though when you enter it into SE16). Get request ID from "Infocube Managment". In SE16 seelction screen use F2 to set the "sales Doc No." field even to blank.
Second issue is a bit easier: in your query (or a working copy of your query) restrict on "Sales Doc No" or "Customer Coutry" to only include value "#". In the same way you can remove the unassigned values be excluding value "#".

Hi people,
I want to know why MBEWH have not any material stock information for period when doesn´t exist any inventory movement for some materials, for example I have a case in 12.2006 period the material A have stock quantity 100 and value 1000 and the next period 01.2007 no stock movements were done for this reason the MBEWH had to had the same values stock 100 and value 1000 in 01.2007 period, but in MBEWH is missing, there is not any information for material A in this period.
Anybody knows about this problem?

Report to check the stock transfer through 303 mvt type

Hi,
I understand that the stock transfer can be done through two ways
1. Using 351 against UB PO and go MIGO using 101 --> Can be checked in the report MB5T, for stock in transit
2. Using 303 and 305 mvt type --> the stock lies in Stock trans(Plant)
When we do 303 mvt type, is there any standard report to check the stock in stock trans (Plant) ? Please let us know.

for this you can use MB51 only. same report you can give the movement types as 313 & 315.

I would be very happy if you send me some sample code to implement this in User exits.
I mean which ABAP statements are useful in this case. I think we need to implement the following logic for User Exit variable.
1. At run time, retieve the SSN data from BW dabase
2. Convert the first 5 digets into *****
3. Make it available to report in BEX.

Stock report based on the batch

Hi Experts,
I am designing stock ageing report based on last goods reciept date which is the attribute of the batch.
the stock value in the buckets need to be calculated based on the stock quantity with moving average price.
the report is o/p is based on material group, material, batch.
when i drill dow based on the material it is coming fine when i drill down based on the batch it is not showing any values in the buckets.
considering the moving average price from masterdata enhancement of 0MAT_PLANT datasource.(but this datasource doen't have batch).
Please suggest your ideas.

Try using tables MBEWH --(customised) and extract to DSO along with 0IC_C03.
