Hi experts,
I am able to see the BI publisher as admin.But when i login with user it is giving the following error:
Unauthorized Access: please contact the administrator.
But analysis reports are working.only problem with BI publisher reports.any extra setting required for BI publisher reports
for implementing the object level security ?

Verify whether your userid is added in the developer group. Ask the person who has admin proviledges or tech Arch team.

We have tried to work as described above
BI Server ==> LDAP <== XMLP Server (BI PUB)
and maybe because we are using Microsoft Active Directory it didn't worked (I am not sure it is related to which A/D or LDAP mechanism we are using, but it failed we kept getting configuration error)
so we gave up (anyone succeeded with MS A/D ?)
now we are working with the local publisher security and creating local users and permissions (and of course this is working)
all but one thing:
When we are trying to create new report in the "Data Model" -> NEW and in the TYPE we choose "ORACLE BI Answers".
in the details when we try opening the Catalog we are getting :
"Oracle BI Catalog
BI Catalog Home
Empty catalog.
regarding configuration in :Admin>Oracle BI Presentation Services under Integration we have used the following:
Server Protocol - http
Server Version - v4
* Server - <full server name with domain >
* Port - 80
* Administrator Username <we have used the correct Administrator username>
Administrator Password <we have used the correct Administrator password>
URL Suffix analytics/saw.dll
Session Timeout 90

Note 1430575 also suggests after RZ10:
Tick Entended Maintenance and click Change
Add the following Parameters and their corresponding value:
Parameter Name: Parameter value
login/accept_sso2_ticket 1
login/create_sso2_ticket 2
Restart the BW server

This is due to the uncommitted statements. From Powershell try running the following script

JohnA previous answer to this question tells us that in Firefox 3.6.12 the default connection settings have been changed to "Use the system proxy settings".
You can find the connection setting here: Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection: Settings (See attached image.) If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select No Proxy.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you did not change these setting yourself, this may be a symptom that your proxy server settings have been hijacked by a virus called "Antivirus Action" that Firefox may acquire. Even after you [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-action remove the virus] following directions, you will need to manually reset your Firefox proxy settings. -

Could be a corrupt cookie. Try deleting all cookies for that website, then restart Safari and try to connect again.

I am trying to install itunes for my mobile, and I keep getting the message "You do not have administrator rights, please contact the system administrator to preform an update." I have it set as adminstrator as the user. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. Help please?
Thanks, but I've done that several times & it still says I need administraive privileges. I had itunes installed with no problems until I did the latest update. After that it just disappeared, so I tried reinstalling. Now I can't sync my phone. This is so frustrating!
