Unauthorized deduction of my skype money!

This is the second time this has happened:
When Skype automatically updates, money is deducted from my account.
Last night, I was texting on Skype and the system began updating. I had $21.59 in my account before the update and $10.59 after!!! PLEASE help!!!

  • Skype charged 100€ from my account WITHOUT my know...

    I came back to home, and my paypal account was wiped out ! 
    skype took 100€ from my account , and this is obvious hacker business .
    I conctact with paypal and with skype , but what is so stupid is that , i see that many people are experiencing this in the forum , HOW COMES a very well known company cannot do nothing about that !!!!!
    I have no idea how i will able to get my money back .

    Change the account password immediately.  If you no longer have access to the account, please contact Skype Customer Service for further assistance.  If you are signed on to your Skype account on multiple devices, please use these two commands: 
    /showplaces
    Lists other instances where this Skype name is currently signed in.
    /remotelogout
    Sign out all other instances except the current one. This will also stop push notifications on all other instances.

    Regarding PayPal, sign on to your PayPal account and cancel the funding agreement between PayPal and your Skype account.

    Skype is aware of existing problems with the website when contacting their customer service agents. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and - most importantly -  choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.

  • Hijacking - Ukraine calling bundles added, money s...

    I have just discovered that my account has been hijacked and calling bundles added.  These have been charged to my account.  I have changed password , deleted bundles, autocharges and cards. I have two questions
    1.  Is there anything else is should do to ensure i limit any more security breaches?
    2.  Will Skype refund the money?
    I have tried to log a call with Skype by txt support , but this showing as unavialable, so i write this with the hope that this will be logged with skype also.

  • Skype Account HACKED

    I have had someone gain unauthorized access to my Skype account.  This is insane, because I knew I was being targeted by a hacker, and went to ehosts Live Support to tell them.  I also told them NEVER TO CHANGE THE REGISTERED EMAIL ON MY ACCOUNT.  They said they made a note on my account and that they would not change the email, no matter who came into their live support.
    Here I am today, and what did Skype support do?  They CHANGED THE REGISTERED EMAIL FOR THE HACKER.  He did NOT HAVE ACCESS TO MY EMAIL ACCOUNT.  YET, YOU STILL CHANGED IT FOR HIM??  Skype is an absolute JOKE.  This service is absolutely garbage.  You should be ashamed of the horrible security.

    This email was completely secret.  This means that the hacker had no way of knowing my email address (unless one of your retarded agents told him the address).  My passwords are secure, my email is secure.  The only thing that is compromised is my Skype account, because Skype allowed someone to change the email on my account WITH MINIMAL INFORMATION ABOUT MY ACCOUNT.
    He is now costing my business hundreds (possibly thousands) of dollars by SCAMMING my CONTACT LIST.
    First things, first: for your safety and protection, please never, ever include any personally identifiable information such as your real name, Skype account name, e-mail address, or a telephone number in a post on a public Community or forum such as this.

    afaik, users can only change their registered email address (1) if they supply the current password of the account in question (2) or contacting support and answering verification questions to prove that they are the owner of the account [in cases if the user don't remember their password or no longer have access to the account/registered email address].  Such verification questions are quite difficult to answer even for the account owner themselves at certain times (as what can be seen in other threads in this forum). 
    You may need to contact customer support again, and perhaps can ask for a senior rep/supervisor to handle your concern.

  • Skype to go + mobile carrier

    just wanted to clarify: if i have minutes included in my plan and I call a skype to go number, it will deduct from my minutes and charges for a call will be deducted from my skype credit and it will not be charged to my mobile carrier bill, correct? and if i call during my "free nights and weekends" hours, it will only deduct from skype credit? I want to make sure I will not have charges on my mobie bill, because i was confused by: 
    Calls to this number will cost:
    0.089USD/min plus a small connection fee.
    Local call charges from your operator or inclusive minutes

    I have one email address registered but two Skype names... This means that I have a balance of skype money in two different areas.  Is there a way to merge my accounts?

  • Someone is using my email to a skype account

    Someone used my email address to create this Skype account. I received an email in my inbox saying "hello spikenhh". I don't know who the person that created "spikenhh" is. I went in and changed the password for this account, just for security reasons, in case the person is trying to impersonate me. I don't even want a Skype account, and it seems there's no wayto delete an account. How can Skype allow people to use other people's email addresses to sign up forSkype? This is ridiculous. Delete this account and my email address from your system. I don't want anythingto do with you.

  • Skype Credit used before monthly subscription

    Hi. I have Skype credit (Australian $) which I bought for ringing various countries.
    However, I also have a monthly subscription for calls from New Zealand to Sweden. Whenever I call Sweden, Skype deducts from my Skype credit rather than from my monthly 120 minutes allowance provided by my monthly subscripition.
    How do I get Skype to use my free minutes (from my monthly subscription) FIRST?

    Please check  that your subscription covers calls to the Swedish number you are trying to reach - some subscriptions cover calls to land lines (also known as fixed lines), for example, and not mobile numbers.  If it does, please contact Skype customer service to report this issue.

  • Skype Credit vs Subscription

    I purchased a 60 min subscription to call Malawi and it was successfully delivered on 3 April, however when calling Malawi on 11 April the cost was deducted from my Skype credit and not the subscription which still reflects a balance of 60 min. The cost of the call is considerable more expensive using Credit. Why would this happen?

    If you purchase a subscription with the exact same amount of minutes than the one you already have then your subscription will be extended for another month, but you will receive the monthly minutes on the date you first purchased the subscription on, which in your case is the 11th of every month, at around 6:30 PM GMT time.
    Your subscription minutes have now been reset.

    No. Skype operates solely on a prepaid credit basis. You can never owe Skype money.
