Unauthorized subscription purchase on non auto-rec...
I have been a happy customer up until now. Skype made an unauthorized year purchase of $30.05, days after I made a 3 month subscription purchase. I made the 3 month purchase around the 11th, Oct 2011 and on the 21st of Oct, Skype just compromised my account and stole money from me in the amount of $30.05. I would like these charges dropped immediately. I never purchased it!!! I never been on auto-recharge either! So I make the dam payments not Skype, so give me my money back. God doesn't like ugly but this is a real problem!
I know you idiots do not do refunds on subscriptions. But what if you guys stole the money in the first **bleep**ing place. Is there a nice little protocol that returns your money?
Skype billed me for a month long subscription.
I have not authorized this transaction.
I cancelled my subscription two months ago, so there is no way this should have been billed to my account.
I am jobless and don't even have $2 in my bank account. Going through with this transaction will surely send me into financial oblivion.
Please do what you can to reverse the charges immediately, Skype!

You should go to the web site for the iTrip product and see what app it is, I'll bet there's a link there that will take you right to the app. Don't worry, as you get more stuff it'll be easier to figure it all out, eventually it'll be plain old common sense that solves these types of issues for you

Purchased a non-working iphone 4 and am in need of help
Okay, so I purchased a non-working iphone 4 off of ebay, because sadly that was the only way I could afford one. Anyway, I began breaking it down piece by piece last night so that I might be able to narrow down what was wrong with it. And that is where I need the help of the apple community. I have cleaned all the contact metal on the inner part of the iphone, cleaned the logic board, the charging port. The person I bought it from said that it would randomly restart while charging, and once you unplugged it from charging, it would shut off. So far, I have not even been able to get it to charge at all, and therefore, no random restarting either. I was able to get it to come back on after I had cleaned everything off and put it back together, even tried to restore it through itunes, but it got stuck on the apple logo, and brought up two different errors on two different occasions, 1603 and 21. I am relieved that there is nothing wrong with the lcd screen or the digitizer, as I know those are expensive. I already have a new battery ordered for it that should be here tomorrow along with a charging port as well because the previous owner said it could probably use a battery, and I just went ahead and ordered the charging port just in case there might be something wrong with it as well. My question is, is it possible that the logic board could be bad in my iphone, and could that be also causing my iphone not to charge, or restore to ios 6.1.3? All help is appreciated. Thanks.

The iPhone is not user serviceable. Apple does not sell iPhone parts. Apple won't touch it now that its been opened. Try checking ifixit.com for help. There's not much we can tell you. -
My computer had to be repaired and i lost some of my purchases. my purchase history does not include the ones that are missing and the ones that do appear indicate they are free purchases. none of my purchases are free i paid so how do a recover them?
asuming you are talking about the app store try signing into your account using your apple id into the app store.

You can always dispute the charges with your bank, if possible. With Apple, they typically stand by the phrase that all sales are final. However, if you go to the iTunes Store, then click on your email address (Apple ID) in the black nav bar, and click on "Account"... you will see a "Purchase History" section. Here, select "See All." If the order is still processing, it will be at the top. If it has completed (at the bottom), click on the arrow next to the order number you want to inquire about. A new order page will open. Here you can click "Report a Problem" then click "Report a problem" (again) next to the item you want to dispute. Here you can chose your problem. You should likely use the "Other" category. It will be up to the customer service person on whether they grant you an exception to their normal rule that you can't get refunds.

Post office upset w/separate auto & non-auto postage reports for same job.
I am new to Business Objects Business Edition. I am not sure why sometimes I process an automated mailing and get one postage report showing both auto and non-auto, then run another and get two postage reports, one for auto and one for non-auto. The post office is always complaining that we shouldn't have two postage reports. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

When the Postage Statement Type Option is set to "By Mailing" a separate Postage Statement will print for each scheme that qualified for the presort (or for each entry point in Business Edition). By Mailing is the program default.
In order to print one postage statement for the entire job, change the Postage Statement Type to By Job as follows:
1. Select Print > Reports
2. Highlight the Postage Statement
3. Click Options
4. Under Type, choose By Job
5. Click Create minimum number of pages (if it is not all ready checked)
6. To save as a default click Default
7. Click Save current settings as default
8. Click OK
9. Click OK
Note: When setting this as a default it will change this job and be the new global default for new jobs. After May 14, 2007 rate case, and using 7.80c or later, the Postage Statement may be on three pages, not just two even when doing a By Job Statement.
Diane - If you are usng Presort you can make the change to the report by opening up the postage statement block and setting the report to by job instead of by mailing.

I have had an App rejected by Apple. While they were trying to test the annual subscription they got the message "Subscription Purchase Failed. Failed to purchase subscription, please try later."
As far as I can see I have everything done correctly. The Product ID matches (triple checked) and I have single editions available. The Viewer Type is Multi-Issue with iTunes Subscription. This is the 4th App I have submitted to Apple and the previous 3 with similar configurations all got accepted without a problem.
The other strange thing is when I publish a folio edition for retail it disappears off the development viewer. Publish again for free and it appears. Should a retail version not appear on the development viewer so I can sandbox test?

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to purchase a third party program for the other music - not supported by Apple -

Non-auto pieces in wrong section of qualification report.
I have 177 pieces in a mailing that show up on the qualification at adc auto rates but on the postage statement as non auto adc. These are non auto adc because there are only 5 digits in the zipcode.
Why did it show up as auto on the qualification?I am not sure you answered the question or I don't understand your answer. But here is the actual report excerpt. As you can see, the records are listed under the AB column, automation I believe. But the 177 records are in the Nonautomation Letters on the 3602. Which is correct? The zip on these letters is only 5 digit.

Look into downloading some type of iRip software! Allows you to transfer music from iPod to iTunes.

None if the information found on the "help" for above topic page is what I see as I try to follow the instructions on the page they tell me to go to. I just want to manage how much my credit card gets charged when my kids use this account. So fustrating that Apple will not even let me cancel my account or my credit card. If this is "allowed" nothing on their instructions lines up with what is on the web page meaning I'm constantly dead in the water with trying to get anything done. I think they just baffle people with bull@hit and hope they just give up.
That is correct, there is no way to limit the amount that is charged to your credit card. You do have these options:
- Go to Settings>Genera.Restrictions and prohibit purchases. For details see:

- Purchase and redeem iTunes gift cards and then remove the credit card.
- Set up an allowance do they have so much funds available/added each months or so.
