"unavailable" shown on phone

We are getting many nuisance calls. These show on the phone screen as "unavailable". Often no-one answers the phone if we pick up'
These calls are usually recd mornings, mid-day or early evening - usually in blocks of 4 or 5 calls within minutes of each other.
Is there a way of BT preventing these calls please. I have heard of something called "anonymous Call Reject" but can't find anything about it.

BT don't actively market ACR any more as it can cause more problems than it solves, you may still get it by calling 0800 800 150

"Video Bandwidth Unavailable" on 7960 phone with video

We have severla sites using video on workstations and Cisco 7960 phoens.
It is working.
Recently one branch stopped working with "Videio Bandwifht Unavailable" on the phones when trying to connect.
Qos settings have not changed since it was working and the traffic is getting marked oper the policy.
This policy worked at one time and is the same for all branches.
Audio is fine.
Is there a setting in Call Manager I can check to make sure there is enough bandwidth allotted for video?

In the CCMAdmin page, go to System > Locations. Make sure that the location between which you have video issue has sufficient video bandwidth.

Have you contacted your service provider to find out if there is a service interuption in your area or geographical region?

Okay, in that case you're closer to a solution. It wouldn't be blinking orange unless it was at least partially alive and trying to get itself mounted up onto your system.
You should try simple things first, simple things like cleaning off your USB contacts; they can get dinged and gunky and lose a connection on one of the pins and give you symptoms like these.
You should also check your installed OS version vs. your iPod Shuffle User's Guide and the Shuffle's specs, where you'll find a sentence like the following:
Mac OS X v10.2.8 or Mac OS X 10.3.4 and later (Mac OS X 10.3.6 or later recommended for use with low-power USB ports)
You might need to upgrade your OS and, for the life of me, I don't know why you wouldn't have gone on up to 10.3.9 (top of the line for Panther) already.

Where is shown my phone number on my Z30 display .... sim card ?

I use to see my phone number in the Setting /security & privacy / SIM CARD....
and now I can't see it anymore on my Z30 / BB 10.2.1.3062.

Can you edit it in Settings >Security and Privacy >Sim Card? If not, try rebooting the device by holding the power button down for about 10 seconds, through the countdown, through the red LED, and until you see the BB logo again. See if the number populates. If that doesn't work remove the sim and reboot the phone again as described above. Then insert the sim and do it again.

I lost signal on my 4s. When trying to activate I get this message: 'the activation sever is temporarily unavailable'. My phone isn't jailbroken.

After turning my iphone 4s off and on like I have done loads of times before it lost signal, I tried turning it off and on again to a few times to try and get it back but it didn't work. So I plugged it into itunes and did a reboot but now I can't get the phone past the activations settings ...

Where is my phone number shown on phone?

I think I'm cracking up! Where do you see your own phone number on a Vodafone UK handset?
When I was on Orange, I'm sure it could be found in Settings>General>About, but not now. I also seem to recall it showed up on the top bar in Contacts, but again, not now.

Or if you scroll to the top of your contact list in the Phone menu it is at the top of that....

I restored my iPhone from a backup and apps were deleted, but the space they took is still unavailable on my phone?

I had to restore my iPhone from a abckup which I made last night, and when I did, it deleted all my apps. I don't mind, but the amount of space they took up is stilll being taken up on my phone, just in the "other" category. I don't understand why, and I will need to delete some of it so I can redownload the apps. How do I do this?

WRP400 No CallerID shown in phones

Hi, i'm from spain and i have the problem explained at the subject. At the Info tab, it says number it's calling from Internet, but in my phone pluged at FXS port it doesn't appear nothing. When the same line was pluged at Telefonica's conection when somebody call me it appears the number of caller. Anyone knows how to do to appear the number that appears at info tab but not at my DECT phone? Thank You in advance

Did you get this fixed? I went from 4s to 5s and now iPhone 6. I kept my original Kia 30 pin connector cable and bought a 30 pin to lightning adaptor (the one-inch square thingie). Unfortunately it would not connect with my iphone 5s case getting in the way of the connector site, but I was able to shave off the extra plastic and make it work. Because the original Kia cable connects to both the audio and the USB, the adaptor works great. Don't use the non-Kia USB-lightning cable, it is missing the audio connector that the Kia original cable has; I'm wondering if that is the issue for you. I am able to get my phone calls as well as my music through the car. By the way, I never use the Kia dashboard controls; they're horrible.

the thing is that solution you briefy me is as if the button of Personal Hotspot is there, ao please find the attached file below showing how it look like while opening in settings, from there i'm un able to even to put on Personal hotspot beecause its missing adn this is after upgrading to iOS 7.1.1.

I tryed to reset my phone and now i cant activate it and it says its searching in the very top left portion of my screen

so my phone wouldn't send any messages and wouldn't let me call anyone, so I looked to see if I was connected and I had great wi-fi but where the 3G and data was suppose to be in the top left corner it said it was searching so I looked online to see if I could solve the problem and it told me to reset my phone so I did and it made go through the steps it asked me if I spoke English and then it made sign online but after that it said it the activation servers were temporarily unavailable and my phone wont let me activate it I tried plugging it into my I tunes and everything...and it still says its searching. what am I suppose to do???

Unavailable Out of Area Calls

It is absolutely annoying & frustrating to receive calls that are unavailable. No phone number comes up on caller id & Anonymous Call Rejection doesn't block these calls. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!! I've received several of these calls the past few days & when I contacted Verizon support I was told nothing could be done! WHAT?! I pay for a phone service & I'm harassed by these calls & my provider has no resolution!!!!!

Unfortunately, this is due to the way the telephone system was designed some 40 years ago. Fixing it now would take a commitment of people and money that no company is willing to make, as it has essentially zero return on investment. While the break of of Ma Bell brought us much lower cost telephone service, it also created lingering issues such as this as there is no one authority that can make these changes.

Won"t donload or clear from downloads on phone. Shows it downloaded on laptop, but plays 2 secs. then advances to next song only on laptop. Not shown on phone at all.

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network. For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network.
