Unblocking device, please help!

HI!
I need some help, i´ve been going crazy trying to solve this, contacting vodafone, contacting bb..but no use!
I have a bb Curve 8520 that works with vodafone ireland. I have moved to south america now where there is no  vodafone. I would like to unblock the device so that i can use it with a local provider. 
I got a NAC code from vodafone and the following isntructions: go toMenu, advanced Options, Sim Card and enter "mepd"... well turns out that when i get to Sim Card there is nowhere I can enter mepd.... so there I am, stuck!
I would appreciate sooo much some help!!!!

    Symptoms
    Your iPhone may display one of the following messages when you attempt to activate it:

    Resolution
    Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
    Restart the iPhone.
    Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.

  • Please help i am going off my mind when i connect my iphone 4 to my mac it tells me it can not be used because it requires 10.6.3 or later my mac is operating on 10.6.8 and my itunes is 10 .5 yet the iphone does not even show up in devices please help

    i cant boot from external dvd device to install any os  the external dvd keeps on spining and mac is just thinking it doesnt show press any key to install

    but not luck
    the external dvd drive works i pluged into my pc and it works

    I do not know about Disk Warrior but if you have a compatible OSX on an external HDD you certainly can boot the MBP.  Use startup manager:

    Your Backups and library are stored at a different location.  Uninstall and reinstall will not affect your Backups or library.

    My iPad was locked because I forgot my password; I followed the step by step instructions to recover my iPad but it still asks me for a password to access the device even though the device should have been erased. Please help!?!

    Is this how you do it?
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...
    Note: Data will be lost

  • Emails disappear/vanished when using multiple devices please help!

    Please I need help, I have a long question but want to cover all possible options:
    I have several email accounts, set in different devices (all apple) that are checked continuously and simultaneously, they are all set as IMAP accounts (no conflict between IMAP vs POP) but very offen emails disapear and I am sure no one has deleted them. They literally vanish even from the server.
    I have norrowed down *I think* the problem to the following devices, my Iphone5 opens for the first time the email, and when a PowerBook with Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 opens the email at some point it vanishes, it doesnt happen with all emails but it mostlly happens with emails that contain attachments after I have viewed the attachements in my Iphone.
    I am a die hard Apple fan and I have looked the other way for over a year but I need this to stop, it is actually costing me money now and I have done lots of research but cant find the solution.
    My phone carrier is Verizon if this is relevant.

  • ITunes is taking ages to boot and wont detect my devices please help

    I am having major issues with iTunes. Im running on a Dell inspiron 1525 with running iTunes Windows Vista 32bit. My devices are iPhone4 and iPad3 all running 5.1.1. And there are no other devices connected or any other accounts open on laptop. And ive done a full scan using McAfee for Virus's
    When i launch itunes (even running as admin) it takes several minutes to open. The loading cursar appears on desktop for around 3 minutes, then the iTunes tab appears in taskbar however its none responedent. A few minutes later it will open up. I can access everything as normal but when i plug any of my devices in iTunes doesnt detect any of them. Windows detects they are plugged in bringing up the "autoplay" and they are there in "computer" but itunes will not detect. When i run diagnostics all reports come back green including the USB check but the device check come back red.
    The only changes that have been made since i was last able to use iTunes succesfully have been all devices updated to 5.1.1 (via the software update in the iPhone/iPad settings not via iTunes) and a connection upgrade from standard sky broadband to sky fibre ( so new router and Openreach Modem) and i have also reserved a static ip for my wifi connection. but if switched of the wifi and laptop rebooted and no diffrence so i dont think this has anything to do with it.
    Ive tired uninstalling iTunes,Apple Devices,Quicktime etc and rebooting and reinstalling but it does exactly the same thing. Its driving me crazy now to the point im debating a full reinstall of laptop. I just know from previous problems with iTunes that it will be something silly and trivial conflicting with it. Ive googled to find others with the exact same problem but cant find any soloutions.
    If anyone has any answers i would be soooooo very greatfull.

    hi, Thanks for your message... yes I used the Kodak disk to remove the printer so it was completely uninstalled as it has Bonjour on it as well (which I think has been causing a seperate issue with Iphoto loading every time I turn on my mac.
    I had a play yesterday, uninstalled Kodak printer, ran PRAM, ran disk utility to check everything was ok and I was still getting that dodgy white screen with black characters on it so I then tried reinstalling SL and it seems to have helped slightly.. boot is still A LOT slower than it was with Leo but it's only about a minute now instead of 5!!
    I will take a look at the Kodak website and see if there's anything there... thanks

    The only way to open an iCloud account using your Apple ID is on a Mac or an IOS device, there are no alternatives.
