Unblocking email account without security question or email

Since moving to iCloud my personal email account has been locked out for security reasons, this has given me a massive problem because i cannot remember the security question, there must be another way to verify it so i can get back on my account.I have 2 accounts
one account is ok and the alternate email account on that account is the one that is blocked
I think the problem is that the alternate email account for the blocked account is a old yahoo account, which is a deleted account because i was receiving to much junk mail from it, so it can no longer be accessed.
I cannot remember the security question as it was so long ago and i am not used to logging in and out as I use the email accounts on a iMac, iPhone, iPad and a Mac Air Both the email accounts are synchronised with all these devices, there must be another way to unblock the account as i cannot access the yahoo account, to get the email.
can someone please help me get the account back online.

To contact  iCloud Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:
http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/
You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support and you may be asked to pay a fee.

I don't remeber the password or email adrress to the email account which the security qustions answer were sent too. Is there anyways to reset or change the backup email adress to a email account I have access to so that I can purchase things on the Itunes store?

  • Can I delete an email account without deleting the previous emails from it

I have several emails from my own website ([email protected]) set to POP in Mail. Because of an overrun of spam, I disabled one of the accounts in Mail, and then deleted in at my website account. I have 2 others that I wasn't using, so I did the same. I didn't want to delete them in Mail, because I heard that would delete all the emails from it. So I just disabled them. But I see in Connection Doctor that they are still trying to connect to my website to retrieve email. Do I need to completely delete them from Mail? And if I do, if the emails are all moved out of the Inbox into folders I've created (mostly smart mailboxes) are they safe from being deleted? Will it only delete from Inbox, Send, and Trash?
    Thank you.

Select the messages you want to keep, then select
    Message > Archive
from the menu bar. A new mailbox will be created for each account from which you archive messages, and the messages will be kept when you delete the account and its mailboxes. Nevertheless, be sure to back up all data before making any changes.

  • HT5312 not send email  Apple ID security questions to me.

    hello
not send email  Apple ID security questions me
    <Email Edited By Host>

Most of the people on these public forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post.
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address or you don't have access to that account anymore (you won't be able to add one or change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then see if this user tip helps : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4551
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then try Apple ID Account Security
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

  • One day, being stupid, I used my Comcast email account to be my backup email address, just in case I forgot my security questions. Well I did. The email I was using was deleted and I can't get the answers. How do I fix it?

One day, being stupid, I used my Comcasst email account to be my backup email account in case I forgot my security questions. Well I did. I did not know that Comcast deleted your email when you disconnected with their service. When I ask for my security answers, it sends it to that email. How do I fix what I've done? Because now, I can't download apps that I have to pay for.

  • Security question verification email is set to a different email than my apple ID

Oddly enough, the Itunes store will not let me purchase new msuic without verifying my account now, even though I made a purchase on this computer about a week ago. It wants me to verify via my billing information and security questions. However, I can only remember one of my secert questions, and when I attempt to reset my security questions via email, it appears that the verification email is sent to the wrong address - not to my apple ID email. The email is sent to a .au email instead of my .com one. Just to be clear, I do not own or have access to the .au email address.
Can someone point me in the right direction to have this problem resolved?
    Thank you for your time.
    Justin.

The reset link will show the rescue email address that you have on your iTunes account - it can't be the same as your primary email address (not alternate email addresses), so it will be different.
You won't be able to change the address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps on this page to change your rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5620

  • Can I change the email where the security questions get send to if I forgot ??

Can I change the email where my security question gets send to it says " send reset security info email to [d******@hotmail]
and I don't know who's email is that ? can I change that and if I can can you guys help me please it means a lot

Not without correctly answering two of them. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Why am I NOT receiving the reset emails for my security questions?

I've forgotten the answers to my apple id security questions, and am now unable to puchase any new music or apps because my settings require two step verification.
Over the span of several months I have requested multiple emails to allow me to reset my security questions and I NEVER recieve them.
Yes I have checked my :Spam, and Apple folder.
I requested resets for both my apple id password and login and recieved those emails without problem, but not once have I recieved the reset email for my security questions!
Can anybody help me with this, or do I really have to call and or go down to an apple store to sort this out?

They are going to your Rescue email address, which is not the same as your Apple ID address. It is whatever you set it to be when you set up the account. You can contact Apple's Account Security Team as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

  • HT1918 Cannot remember password or security question. Email password reset does not come to email address. What can I do?

I have lost my passwrod for Itunes account. I do not remember answer to security questions, choosing email reset instructions does not come to email my account (checked Spam folder already). My teenage daughter setup information and cannot find it.
    What can I do.

As I stated before, cannot access reset password without the answer to security questions and email is not showing up.
If all you can offer is "contact support" or add a link to reset password, please do not bother with a reply.
Was hoping someone could read the entire problem and offer something besides the obvious "contact support" which is totally useless without security question answers or email reset instructions which, as stated, are not coming to my email address.

If you know your answers to your questions then from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 :

    Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
    Click Password & Security

Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
If you can't remember your answers then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset, before you can then do the above for potential future use.

  • Appleid, recovery email address and security questions were hacked.

My son's recovery email address and security questions were hacked.  How can we get these changed so he can purchase more apps?  Currently he is being asked to answer security questions that do no pertain to him (like what were you doing on such and such date - he wasn't even born yet).  The email address in the recovery section is r********@answers.com.  We don't know who this is, but it appears they have hacked his account.  He has an itunes balance and I don't want him to lose it.

You or your son will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

  • HT201363 I want to change the email address used as rescue email for my security questions. But I can't remember the answers to the security questions and I dont have access to the rescue email anymore. Please help.

I want to change the email address used as rescue email for my security questions. But I can't remember the answers to the security questions and I dont have access to the rescue email anymore. Please help.

-If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com.  Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE:  This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
-If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address.  Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466 (If you are in the US), and ask for account security.  You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.
-If you are not in the US, click http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 - Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

If you don't remember what your rescue email address is, contact apple care at 800-694-7466, tell them you need to reset your security questions.
