Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout - unable to call

Hi!
I have a BB storm 2 9550 phone. Since this morning, I was getting a error message Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry wait For "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" owner thread died....When clicked ok, it says "Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout". It also displayed error 6>=6.
What am I supposed to do now. Can someone pls help. The phone application is completely down. I can't make or rcv calls.

Is there someone to help me on this issue? It is for BB Storm2 9550 phone. The call and end buttons are not working. I checked similar issues with the other models which were solved by reinstalling Memopad and Tasks. They are still found on my phone.
What am I to do now?

    HELP!!

    Hi gagan_marwah,
Can you provide more information on this error you're receiving? What is happening on the BlackBerry before you get this error message? Does it happen after reinserting the battery or when opening an application?
Try backing up your device via the BlackBerry Desktop Software and performing a clean reload of your device software. http://bbry.lv/bpv7DT Make sure to try to replicate the issue before restoring any data from your backup file.

so i can'y recieve or do any phone calls
also when i tried to reinstall the software it keeps telling me to check my internet connection even when i'm connecting to it, so what should i do to fix my blackberry or to reinstal the software

    Hi there,
I would reload the software like you're trying to do. Try using the method described in the following link:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Device-software-for-BlackBerry/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-S...
Also, if needed, before running the Loader.exe file in Step 2, delete the file named Vendor.xml, located in the same folder. If you continue to see the internet connection message, let me know, but one other thing you can try is unplugging your computer from the internet once you've downloaded and installed the installer file for your OS.
Good luck and I hope this info helps!

  • Apple TV 2 Waiting for network services, unable to sign in to iTunes store

    Received my Apple TV yesterday.
It is connected to my network (I have tried wired and wireless).
I can view movie previews and Podcasts.
I cannot sign in to the iTunes Store (therefore cant rent movies), cannot view Youtube videos (No content available), cannot use Netflix (Waiting for network services when I try).
I spoke to Apple support, they couldn't help. They say the problem is with my network or my ISP.
I have a Linksys WRT160N router, on which I have tried disabling the firewall.
My ISP is Telus, I am on their Fibre Optic network in BC. I wonder if Telus are blocking Apple TV?
    Anyone else experiencing this?

I received my Apple TV yesterday.
I am running cable internet with 10Mbps constant.
So I connected it up and proceeded to issue after issue. I could not log into my Apple account. It was stating that my name or password was incorrect.
When I would start the unit it would stay at the waiting for network connections screen for several minutes!
I did all the tricks of turning the apple of and back on, NO FIX.
I tried to update the software, and I recieved a message that stated I have the most updated software, so....NO FIX
I did a full restore. The Apple TV downloaded the newest software and rebooted after about 7 minutes, NO FIX
I logged into my router and opened all ports, added ports 80 and 123, NO FIX
I also disabled my entire firewall on my router and turned off the WEP security feature...and what would you guess.....NO F I X!!
So I logged back into my router and reset all my original settings...still NO FIX.
SO here is the good part...Apparently the system has to connect to time.apple.com and get updated...it's sort of like a verification of the system.
So after it updated everything worked great! No unable to sign into my account. NO waiting on network connections anymore.
So the biggest advice I can give, especially after my 3 hours of gradually wasting my time until I almost threw the unit out my bedroom window, is connect it to your WIFI system and let it sit by itself for a few hours and let it connect to the Apple server.
Hope this helps everyone that, at some point, has shared my pain and frustration.

  • Can a BPEL process wait for a second web service call

    Hi,
My BPEL process is an asynchronous process, so the first web service call kicks off an instance of the process.
what i want is somewhere down in the process i can put a "receive" shape to pause the process and wait for another web service call to come in, once the "receive" shape gets the second web service call, the process continues on.
Is that a valid thing to do on BPEL?
i don't seem to be able to get it working.
i could change the WSDL for the BPEL process to publish two operations, the default "initiate" and another one called "continue", they both accept the same type of request message.
but when i test it, the BPEL process just can't accept message at the second operation, it always creates a new instance to handle the web service calls, even when the call is targeting "continue" operation.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

I was just about to give up after the last post but then the "pick" shape hit my eye somehow ("thank God", that's all i can say)
and it did the trick, the "pick" shape can wait for an incoming call from a partner link.
so what i can achieve is this,
the first web service call sends some thing like
    <Root><CorrelationId>1</CorrelationId><Content>first name</Content></Root>
on the "initiate" operation, just like calling an "initiate" method in java code
the BPEL instance gets initiated, reaches the "pick" shape and stops
then a second web service call comes in as
    <Root><CorrelationId>1</CorrelationId><Content>last name</Content></Root>
on the "continue" operation, again just like calling a "continue" method
    it works!

  • Paid for roaming packages unable to call in mexixo

Myself and my husband have paid for call packages and text packages. Got here my texts work. Calls don't. Neither of my husbands work, no phone signal let alone calls and texts. Can't call 150. Less than happy how do I make this work?!

    Hi there,
I'm really sorry to hear about this - let me see if I can help, or at least point you in the right direction.  When did you purchase the package, and what package specifically did you buy? I take it you've got your mobile network on and everything is set as normal?  Also, how long have you been in Mexico for? Were you able to send text messages straight away? Cheers,

    Hi,
For some days now, several times a day, my phone stop working and I have to remove the battery and reload 2 - 3 times, before it starts working again.  When I reload the battery I receive the following message:
Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x24026284aac8d533) timeout; can someone help pls?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If it won't boot up cleanly, then you may need to try Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode
There might be an updated code set from the carrier -- check them via this portal:
     http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info. Alternative methods for bringing up the logs are in this KB:
KB05349How to enable, access, and extract the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone
The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app. Still another method is to reload the BB OS cleanly, leaving some time between adding other apps onto the BB so as to be able to determine exactly which one is the cause.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitfor (0x9850447e783b0596) timeout

Since upgrading to OS v5.0, each time the device is rebooted, receive "Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitfor (0x9850447e783b0596) timeout" message.
Does anyone know if this could be related to a third party app issue or something to this version of the OS (v5.0.0.807)? Is there an relatively easy way to troubleshoot vs. removing and installing each app, one at a time?
    Thanks.

  • [Urgent] Uncaught exception: Errors!

    Hello Blackberry Support!
So I'm in a pretty bad situation at the moment. It seems as though my mothers Blackberry Torch 9810 is receiving quite a lot of errors. The phone was operational and at occasions, restarts itself (probably because the ram gets clogged up). However, this time the phone was stuck on the loading screen. I decided it was best to see if taking the battery out and in again would work but unfortunately it didn't. So I left it aside for a while incase it isn't frozen and loads up to the home screen but instead of that, Uncaught Exception Errors began popping up with a menu behind it which had a list of stock and third-party applications.
Errors such as Uncaught exception: java.lang.nullpointerexception
    and
Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.getOrWaitFor (0x...) owner died Thread [Thread-...]
    keep occuring.
We're very reluctant at restoring the whole phone as we dont want any sort of data being deleted, especially photos and videos.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

As for backing up your data, that requires the device to be running normally and not failing for one reason or another. If, for example, you can get it to run stable in Safe Mode, you might then be able to take a backup. But, please do realize that, like insurance, backups are neither a reactive nor an optional activity. The time to take a backup is when things are running fine, not after problems arise.

    Hi there,
It sounds to me like you have some software issues and unfortunately it can be difficult to know exactly what the cause is. What I would recommend in this case is reloading the device software using the following steps:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Device-software-for-BlackBerry/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-S...
And just in case the problem has to do with a corrupted database, when restoring your data, I would suggest using a selective restore where you only restore the databases you need (e.g. messages, address book, etc.).

  • NiDCPower Wait For Event

    Hello,
I am using the PXIe-4139 SMU to source a current sequence that starts when a trigger is received and takes about 40 seconds to complete.
After the niDCPower Initiate VI I have inserted the niDCPower Wait For Event VI with a timeout set to 300 seconds to allow for enough time to receive the trigger and complete the sequence. This VI waits for the Sequence Engine Done Event.
Now this works fine, however, when the user wishes to stop the programm for whatever reasons, they have to wait the full 300 seconds until the Wait For Event VI produces a timeout error and stops the programm. This is rather inconvenient. How can I change the programm so that the user can stop it even when the Wait For Event VI hasn't reached its timeout?
    I tried this:
But this doesn't work. For some reason, I get a timeout error with code -200474 but the boolean operator returns FALSE.
    Any other ideas?

If there an output on the wait for event VI that flags a timeout? If so, set the timeout short (like 100 msec) and wait for 3000 timeouts before continuing on.
Oh, and use an event structure. Timeout event (timeout=0) checks the wait for event, value change event for button breaks out of loop.

  • 8530--will not complete sync, receiving FREQ uncaught exception erros prior to sync

I am having a NUMBER of issues with my curve 8530.  The most IMMEDIATE issue is I tried to do a sync and now it is seemingly stuck.  I tried to stop and they sync process indicates it is cancelling but it appears "stuck."  Of course software says not to disconnect until sync is complete but it would be nice if I remove it from my computer before I have to go work tomorrow...as it used for both work and personal purposes.
Additional issues I'm having now on a daily basis include uncaught exception errors with phone, bbm, and my internet.  The phone uncaught exception error always occurs after I disconnect a call and the phone freezes showing the call as still connected however call timer and clock are no longer accurate.  Please bear in mind this does not occur EVERY time I disconnect from a call and I have not been able to predict when it will begin having this issue.  It also appears to randomly give me uncaught exception errors when using my email, text (SMS) feature and internet.  I'm so very frustrated as this is my second BB Curve 8530--my 1st one had to be replaced after these errors began occurring and finally the phone would not reboot at all.
I greatly appreciate any help & feedback!!!

Ok the sync FINALLY gave up...but any insights on these other issues would still be greatly appreciated!!! Or even the reason for the hangup with the sync...
    Thanks again!
