Uncaught exeption:java.lang.Error when i click on options.
Hello Guys.
I bought my BB 8900 curve last week.I was really happy until 2 days ago.I downloaded appworld to my device.But when i try to open appword it says upgrade your service plan and etc.So try I tought maybe i can change some preferences in advanced options.
After that time, when i click options,it wouldn't open.it says UNCAUGHT EXEPTION:JAVA.LANG.ERROR.So i can not use options choise anymore .Because of that i can not changed anything and i couldn't turned back to factory settings.
IS anyone idea about that?I mean i bought a week ago and I am so pissed off.I am waiting your replies guys.I think is time to reload the Software
Follow this exact procedure originally posted by Bumblepie
The software seems to have come corrupt.
Make sure you have the latest Software for your device and carrier installed onto the computer.
click here to get ur carrier software - http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
This is the device Software, not the desktop manager.
Download and double click to install to your ur computer. Don't plug the device in yet.
Once done that, go to C Drive: Program Files: Common Files: Research in Motion: App Loader and double click on loader.exe.
Once the welcome screen comes up, plug in the device the battery and hit next. When you see the PIN number appear after maybe a few minutes press next.
Once it gets to the device application part, Select only things you need, untick all other languages etc.
On the last page before you hit finish, you will see a 'ADVANCED' option, click this and make sure both the check boxes are fixed.
This will fix ur issue.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.

Error message after compiling - java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError
Hi
My program compiles fine, no errors, but when the emulator is running and I click on the MIDlet I want to run I get the following error message, even tho
I have that class defined in my library:
Uncaught exception java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: org/bouncycastle/crypto/InvalidCipherTextException.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this error?
Thanks a million for your helpLittlen12 wrote:
Ive tried adding all the bouncy castle libraries (even though I dont need them all), then only the ones Ive needed and >the cldc_class.zip and cldc_crypto.zip files. But I still get the following error -
Uncaught exception java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: org/bouncycastle/crypto/InvalidCipherTextExceptionThat means it still can not find the classes when compiling the project. Make sure your reference points to the right place. If you are using netbean, you will need to know how to add user libraries to the project.
For user library like bouncy caste libraries,
cldc_crypto.zip
cldc_classes.zip
you can try to add user library as following in netbean,
1. Right-click the your project node in Projects window and select Properties
2. Select Build / Libraries & Resources in properties tree
3. Click Add Jar/Zip
I am not sure if it is right way to add user libraries in netbean, but here you can read more about it.

Hope it helps.

Hi,
I have a requirement of calling BI webservices from Plsql stored procedure. I generated all my wsdl java classes and loaded them into the database. However, when I tried to call one of my java class using stored procedure, it is giving me"ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError".
*Cause: A Java exception or error was signaled and could not be
resolved by the Java code.
*Action: Modify Java code, if this behavior is not intended.
But all my dependency classes are present in database as java class objects and are valid. Can some one help me out of this?Stiphane,
You can look in USER_ERRORS to see if there's anything more specific reported by the compiler. But, it could also be the case that everything's OK (oddly enough). I loaded the JavaMail API in an 8.1.6 database and also got bytecode verifier errors, but it ran fine. Here are the errors I got when loading Sun's activation.jar, which ended up not being a problem:
ORA-29552: verification warning: at offset 12 of <init> void (java.lang.String, java.lang.String) cannot access class$java$io$InputStream

Hope this helps,

JAR:Exeption in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
Hello !
I desperatly tried for the last two month to Jar my files.
I used JBuilder and JCreator to build and run those programme.
And it works !
But when I trie to use the jar tools, the jar is created...but if I click twince on it, it says that it can not find the main function:
"Exeption in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError".
And when I try to run the .class or .java file, with the java tools, it says the same thing : it can not find the main classe.
I suspected that my manifest was not good, but then, why doesn't it work with the tools (and it works properly with Jbuilder!)...
I'm lost, if some one could help me, and give me good information and the way to do it, step by step, with an example, I'll be so thanksfull !
i.e.:
import java.*;
class Hello{
public Hello(){
public static void main(String args[]) {
System.out.println("Hello World!");
}Thanks !
.Splitsch.You have to tell where the main class is.
prepare a text file mainclass.txt and write the following line.
Main-Class: classname
follow the same as i wrote above. leave a blanl after colon and a blank line after the first line like above.
after that execute the command.
jar umf mainclass.txt jar-file-you-created
then run you jar file as
java -jar jar-file-you-crated

Uncaught exception RMIConnectionThreadjava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
Hi, I had a read at a few problems similar in the forum, but had no success following any of the solutions.
I'm trying to basically invoke a bpel process from a java unit test case. I have all the major jars in my ide classpath, I'm using eclipse IDE. I am using Oracle BPEL designer for creating and deploying bpel processes.
I'm currently trying to call the CreaditRatingService via a JUnit Test case but am getting this exception,
Uncaught exception RMIConnectionThreadjava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/collaxa/thirdparty/dom4j/Element
import java.rmi.RemoteException;
import java.util.Map;
import java.util.Properties;

import com.oracle.bpel.client.ServerException;
import com.oracle.bpel.client.dispatch.IDeliveryService;
public class TestCreditRatingService extends TestCase{
private String ssn = "123456789";
private String xml = "<ssn xmlns=\"http://services.otn.com\">" + ssn + "</ssn>";
public TestCreditRatingService(){
public void setUp(){}
public void tearDown(){}
public void testService(){
try{

props.setProperty("orabpel.platform", "oc4j_10g");
props.setProperty("java.naming.factory.initial", "com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory");
props.setProperty("java.naming.provider.url", "ormi://welld175666/orabpel");
props.setProperty("java.naming.security.principal", "admin");
props.setProperty("java.naming.security.credentials", "welcome");
props.setProperty("dedicated.rmicontext", "true");
Locator locator = new Locator("default", "bpel", props);
IDeliveryService deliveryService = (IDeliveryService)locator.lookupService(IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME);
NormalizedMessage nm = new NormalizedMessage();
nm.addPart("payload", xml);
NormalizedMessage res = deliveryService.request("CreditRatingService", "payload", nm);
assertNotNull("should not be null",res);
Map payload = res.getPayload();
}catch(ServerException e){
e.printStackTrace();
}catch(RemoteException e){
e.printStackTrace();
The big problem for me is that there is so much to oracle, jars are spread out everywhere.
I have not used Oracle before so I'm drawing on experience from using JBoss server and Tomcat container.
I'm feeling my way slowly here.
I'm using eclipse to run the junit test cases (purely because im cutting out as much of a learning curve for the moment for myself, im using oracle bpel designer to create and deploy the bpel process.)
The creditRating demo has been deployed from the samples folder, and the bpel process has been deployed from the bpel designer.
I know something is working, and I'm not too far away.
if I switch this line of code,
NormalizedMessage res = deliveryService.request("CreditRatingService", "process", nm);
to
NormalizedMessage res = deliveryService.request("CreditRatingService", "payload", nm);
then i get this exception

try add the xml with nm.addPart("payload",xml);

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
Am using java 1.3.1 on Red Hat Linux 7.1
i get this error
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
while running a simple program HelloWorld.java
helpWhen you use the "java" command, the only required argument is the name of the class that you want to execute. This argument must be a class name, not a file name, and class names are case sensitive. For example, "java HelloWorld.java" won't work because the class name isn't HelloWorld.java, it's HelloWorld. Similarly, "java helloworld" won't work because a class defined as "public class HelloWorld {" is not named helloworld due to case sensitivity. Finally, the .class file must be in a directory that is in the Classpath - that's where java.exe searches to find the file that contains the class.

When I create an EJB Transport Business Service, after selecting the jar that has the EJB 2.1 artefacts (Remote, Home, etc) the oepe plugin fails and can't continue.
As I understand it seems that there is a problem with the classpath of ant build.xml that oepe creates inside folder /tmp/alsbejbtransport/ to compile the bs and generate the wsdl. I checked if tools.jar is in the classpath (in eclipse) and is included, so I can't figure out wich is the problem.
I found this in Oracle, but not helps solve the problem:

PurnenduHi,
Redeploy the <b>com.sap.netweaver.bc.util.par</b> file and check if <b>bc.util.private_api.jar</b> file is present on your server.

Greetings,

Hi,
I am having an issue with SAP adapter configuration. It throws below error in log files :
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC'
JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library sapjcorfc [no sapjcorfc in java.library.path]. java.library.path [opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/lib/i386/client:/opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/lib/i386:/opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/../lib/i386:/opt/apps/Oracle/patch_wls1032/profiles/default/native:/opt/apps/Oracle/patch_jdev1111/profiles/default/native:/opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/lib/i386/client:/opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/lib/i386:/opt/apps/Oracle/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32/jre/../lib/i386:/opt/apps/Oracle/patch_wls1032/profiles/default/native:/opt/apps/Oracle/patch_jdev1111/profiles/default/native:/opt/apps/Oracle/wlserver_10.3/server/native/linux/i686:/opt/apps/Oracle/wlserver_10.3/server/native/linux/i686/oci920_8:/opt/apps/Oracle/wlserver_10.3/server/native/linux/i686:/opt/apps/Oracle/wlserver_10.3/server/native/linux/i686/oci920_8:/opt/apps/Oracle/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/edifecs/XEngine/bin:/opt/apps/Oracle/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/edifecs/XEngine/bin]
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.sap.mw.jco.JCO
Invoking SAP targets from bpel or iwafjca test servlet fails with "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.sap.mw.jco.JCO."
I am able to connect from Application Explorer(AE) and browse through idocs and bapis. I tried to check the class loading pattern for AE using Jconsole :
1. Started the AE
2. /opt/apps/Oracle/jdk1.6.0_19/bin/jps
15279 BseFlashScreen
3. /opt/apps/Oracle/jdk1.6.0_19/bin/jconsole 15279
Enabled verbose output on class loading page and connected to SAP target from AE
4. The verbose output shows below :
Loaded com.sap.mw.jco.JCO from file:/opt/apps/Oracle/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/ApplicationAdapters/lib/sapjco.jar
I have added the above path to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${WL_HOME}/server/native/linux/${arch}:${MW_HOME}/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/ApplicationAdapters/lib:${MW_HOME}/user_projects/domains/base_domain/lib:${WL_HOME}/server/native/linux/${arch}/oci920_8
I also added the path to WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH in commEnv.sh file.
The sapjco.jar, libsapjcorfc.so and librfccm.so files are also available under below directories
WL_HOME/server/lib
MW_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/ApplicationAdapters/lib
MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/lib
Any suggestions will be really helpful.
Regards
SubhankarHi Manoj,
I have added the libsapjcorfc.so and librfccm.so files to below locations:
WL_HOME/server/lib
MW_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/ApplicationAdapters/lib
MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/lib
And also set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH in commEnv.sh file.
Eg:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${WL_HOME}/server/native/linux/${arch}:${MW_HOME}/Oracle_SOA1/soa/thirdparty/ApplicationAdapters/lib:${MW_HOME}/user_projects/domains/base_domain/lib:${WL_HOME}/server/native/linux/${arch}/oci920_8
Is there any other location where these need to be added ? I hope library path/system path refers to the WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH ?
Regards
Subhankar -

Looks like your CLASSPATH is not set properly...Just try to Put the Jar inside "<DOMAIN_HOME>\lib" directory...in that case u need not to alter anything in the Classpath variable...it will be appended at the end of Classpath at the run time, Using Extended Directory ClassLoader.
by default Classpath settings doesnt take effect if we specify it in the startScript of Servers but we start them using NodeManagers...So if you are using Nodemanagers to start your Servers... then you can follow the below link to set the Classpath & Memory Arguments http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2010/03/26/nodemanager-based-managedservers-setting-mem_args/

thanks for the replies.
well i guess that(user authentication) is not the problem.
Coz that happens even before i start the web service.
i guess the problem is that the appl. is not finding the TaskMonitor class ( see the last 10 lines of the log).
does anyone have a solution for that.
thanks -
