Unconstrained Resize of an object - not working

When I try to resize an object with the 'constrain width and height' turned off (which would allow me to resize without preserving the ratio aspect) - it still size 'constrains' the resize of the object.

If you are using the resizing handles, then the image will maintain the aspect ratio. If you don't want that use the options on the top right to enter the values manually for the height and the width,

Resizing the partition does not work for me and I get the error "MediaKit reports no such partition" probably because I installed linux in dual boot and the disk manager is lost.
Anyway to tell the yosemite installer that it should not pay attention whether the disk is bootable or not ?
If I am doomed, any way to delete the installer and downloaded OS from my hard drive ?

As usual, the Linux installer wrecked the partition table. You would have to boot from your OS X installation disc and repartition. Doing so will of course remove all data from the drive, so you must back up first if you haven't already done so.

Quicktime objects not working on GoLive

I have a GoLive CS2 Student Version. My Quicktime Objects are not working. I tried to drag the track objects to the page or to layer and no avail.
Can you help me? I spent a whole day to finally figure out the Quicktime objects not working.

To explain what I am doing in more detail: I am basically making an image gallery with thumbnail buttons of each image. When the user enters this page I want to have the automatic slideshow of a few images. Then the user have the option to click on the buttons to see the images. I was able to make a slideshow in GoLive. But the transition is abrupt. According to the GoLive Help Menu there is a way to make the trasnition smoother using the timeline editor, but it is too difficult to follow up for me. So I downloaded another program called SWFn'Slide which was very easy to make the smooth transitional slideshow. Now I am trying to insert the SWF file into my page. But I can't figure out how to do it. In my understanding, I must place a layer on the page and on that layer I must place the SWF track from the Quicktime Objects tab. But I cannot drag any of the Quicktime Objects tools into the page. Again I am having a problem inserting a SWF file into the page.

Resize() of applet is not working properly in java6.0

Hi iam new to applets i have given one task,that is to display multiple tiff pages in applet, So i have written one applet which displays multiple pages tiff file, i have kept next and previous buttons in the applet to navigate to different pages and here iam using resize() of applet for refreshing applet up to now all fine this all thing i have done in java5.0, but i got a requirement to do in java6.0, in java6.0 applet is not refeshing in the webpage.
i found the reason that resize() is not working properly.
Please can someone help me..........

Resizing image using CSS - not working in IE

Hello,
I have a standard report with couple of columns one of which a image column. The images are of varying sizes and I manged to resize them to a fixed width & height by using CSS code in page header as below:

}The CSS does the trick in Chrome & Firefox but does not work in internet explorer. Is there a way to make this CSS code IE friendly?

Display/Change/Delete of planning object not working in BPS

Hi Guys
While displaying or changing object in planning workbench, system is taking too long to process the request and request doesn't completes even in hours. The following operations are not working
1. Delete Planning Area/Level.
2. Display/Change planning Level.
3. Display/Change Planning Layout.
4. When clicking on Variable Tab of infoarea.
5. When clicking on Set variable button.
In all of the above mentioned cases System displays a message "Generating Environment" and it runs for indefinite time.All this is ha0
We are on Suppport Pack 12 of BI NetWeaver(2004S)and we are using BPS for our planning application.

Thanks for info. i know that it will take some time to regenerate the BPS classes after making changes in cube but in my system its taking at least half an hour which i think is too much.....i don't think that its normal behaviour of system...

Create Type as Object not working in linux oracle 11g

Substituting View object not working.....

I am working on iSupplier portal, I am trying to add requeter name on the line lavel of PO details page of iSupplier.
But the by substitutions of Standard View Object is not working.
1. I have extend the PosViewLinesVO object with Custome PosViewLInesVOEx
2. Add the View Object in the ViewOrderAM.class
3. Go to SSTest.jpr file and add the substitutinons by edit optin.
4.Then trying to test on the standalon . But the it's not working
5. The View PosViewLInesVO having viewlink with PosViewShipmentsVO so i am unable understand, if i am add a new column requeter name on the personalization than it giving error.
6. I f i open the about the page is shown both the view original view PosViewLineVO and the Extend View PosViewLinesVOEx.
Can any body help me. why the View Substitution is not working.
I have the screenshots of the error but am not able to attach it over here. Could you please ping me your ID so that I can forwards the Error Msg file to you guys.

If you are working on R12, there are some bugs with VO extension :
1)If a expert mode VO based on EO is extended and new attributes from EO are included, the new attributes turn out to be transient.The resolution is you would have to manually edit the extended VO xml file and include EO reference in new attributes.
2) If expert mode VO based on sql query is extended all attributes automatically become Update : Never in extended VO, you need to go to each attribute in VO wizard and change the type to Update:Always.

Java object with ArrayList of custom objects not working

I have a custom java object that has an ArrayList of another set of custom objects (code listed below). I can pull back a Customer object (to flex client) and it's recognized as a Customer action script object, but the ArrayList in the Customer object is not recognized as an ArrayCollection of Accounts. Instead it is an ArrayCollection of Action Script Objects.
At first I thought something was wrong with my action script Account class, but then I tried to pull back just an Account and it was recognized as an action script Account. It's just when I have my Customer object with an ArrayList of Accounts that it isn't getting converted.
Is there something else I need to do to have that ArrayList be recognized as an ArrayCollection of Accounts on the Flex Client side? Is there some way of specifying what type an ArrayCollection is mapped to?

I accidently found how to make this work. I may have missed something while reading about blazeDS reflection, but I thought I'd pass this along anyway.
What I have is I have an class A. In class A I have an arraycollection of Class B. If I want that arraycollection to return to the server with the correct class, then I need to include Class B in the compiled swf. How I have done that is to create a dummy variable of type B. Importing B will not work you actually need to have a member variable of type B even if you don't need it.

Holding SHIFT to resize image in PROPORTION not working - InDesign CC

Hello,
I am putting a portfolio together containing a ton of images.
I constantly use the SHIFT to resize images in proportion constantly, but it is not work. It resizes randomly wherever my curser goes.
It works in Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC
I have uninstalled InDesign (uninstalled preferences too), then re-installed with no result.
Using the Scale tool (by pressing S) still does not work
I have been using the manual SCALE with percentages or using the "fit content proportionally" buttons on the toolbar, which is killing my workflow, as I need fine grain control
I may have typed something out while thinking I was in a text box, when I was not. This may have turned on or turned off the feature. I'm not sure how to bring it back now.
Any help would be appreciated

Which tool are you using, and which platform?
I use the selection tool, myself, and for that you need to press BOTH Ctrl (PC)/Cmd (Mac) and Shift before dragging to scale proportionally. On windows you must press the keys before clicking the mouse.
How did you replace the preferences? Directions to do it properly are at Replace Your Preferences

A/R Invoice linked object not working all the time

I have a LinkedButton that is set to SAPbouiCOM.BoLinkedObject.lf_Invoice. When the selected A/R Invoice has a Document Type of Service the link works. When the selected A/R Invoice has a Document Type of Items the link does not work and I get the following error:
"No matching records found 'A/R Invoice' (ODBC -2028)"
I there another property that I should be setting? I could not find anything.

Resize window to fit not working

I can't get the resize window to fit option working. It has worked in the past; I have no idea what changed.
I am using Adobe CS4 (11.0.2) on Windows 7 (6.1) 32 bit operating system.
I made sure the resize window to fit option is turned on and deleted the preferences file. How can I fix this?

Where is that option. I know of menu View>Fit On Screen shortcut Ctrl|Cmd+0 and that you can set a script event manager open event to run a Script or action to do a View>Fit on Screen but the only Preferences option I know of for image window size is "Zoom resizes window"???

Resized animated gif ImageIcon not working properly with JButton etc.

The problem is that when I resize an ImageIcon representing an animated gif and place it on a Jbutton, JToggelButton or JLabel, in some cases the image does not show or does not animate. More precicely, depending on the specific image file, the image shows always, most of the time or sometimes. Images which are susceptible to not showing often do not animate when showing. Moving over or clicking with the mouse on the AbstractButton instance while the frame is supposed to updated causes the image to disappear (even when viewing the non-animating image that sometimes appears). No errors are thrown.

When you press the "Toggle scaling"button it switches between unresized (properly working) and resized instances of three of my gif images. Notice that the left image almost never appears, the middle image always, and the right image most of the time. The right image seems to (almost) never animate. When you click on the left image (when visble) it disappears only when the backend is updating the animation (between those two frames with a long delay)
Why are the original ImageIcon and the resized ImageIcon behaving differently? Are they differently organized internally?
Is there any chance my way of resizing might be wrong?

It does work, however I refuse to use SCALE_REPLICATE for my application because resizing images is butt ugly, whether scaling up or down. Could there be a clue in the rescaling implementations, which I can override?
Maybe is there a way that I can check if an image is a multi-frame animation and set the scaling algorithm accordingly?

Analysis Authorization Object not working

Hi Gurus,
I m working on BI 7.0, I have created an analysis authorization object zz_div for 0DIVISION characteristic.
For a given report i want a given user to view only data for '32' and '33' 0DIVISION.
I have followed the below steps but still the report shows all data instead of restricted one.
1)RSECADMIN -> Maintenance ->zz_div ->Create
2) Add 0DIVISION in Auth structure , and in details
I     EQ     32
I     EQ     33
3) Add 0TCAIPROV with I     EQ     0SD_C03
4) Add 0TCAACTVT, 0TCAKYFNM, 0TCAVALID, this having details as
I     CP     *
5) Then in User tab -> Assignment -> User -> Change-> Inserted ZZ_DIV-> Save
6) In Query created a Authorization variable(with no input prompt) and restricted 0DIVISION.

where the authorization mode is " OLD obsolete Concept With RSR Authorization Objects "
We have to do the same in Production system .Can u please how its going to effect to others authorizations if change it to New Concept
