You need to enable the OCI8 extension in your php.ini file.
You will also need Oracle client libraries available on your machine. These are included in the Oracle database installation or can be installed using Oracle Instant Client.

Oci not loaded (Call to undefined function oci_connect)

i have oracle linux with oracle database 11gR2
i install php with oci as the following link :

but when i try phpinfo() i found just only

"Undefined Function Key. Press Ctrl+F1..." Porting app from 6i to 10G

I am running into a problem porting my application from Oracle Forms 6i to 10G. When I am querying a record based on a field that is not the first on the screen, I get an "Undefined Function Key. Press Ctrl+F1 for list of valid keys." error. I do not get the error using the same function keys from the first field on the screen. I also do not get the error if I click into another field (besides the one I an querying) before hitting my execute query key.
I did some research, and found a fix that seems to work. I can add a WHEN_MOUSE_CLICKED trigger to the form and put in the following:
Go_Item(:System.Mouse_Item);
That seems to fix the issue. My problem is that I have close to 400 forms to upgrade. I would like to avoid adding this manually to every single form. I have looked into libraries, but I can't seem to figure out how to replicate a WHEN_MOUSE_CLICKED trigger using procedures. I was wondering if there was a way to use the Forms upgrade utility to add this trigger to every form it converts. Does anyone know if that can be done?

I'm not sure this solves the problem. This would call the trigger, but the trigger does not currently exist. I would still have to manually create the trigger in all 400 (or so) forms. Is there a way to add it in a more global way?

Error -Call to undefined function: ocilogon() ( Php4.4+ Apache2.2 +Windows)

1) Configured Php4.4 to have oci8 enabled with Apache2.2 on Windows 2000 ( service pack4). No error at the time of Apache start but when trying to connect to Oracle using Oracle Instant Client below error is thrown..
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ocilogon() in C:\Apache2 \htdocs\star\dbconnect.php on line 7"
Configuration steps..
1) Uncommented "extension=php_oci8.dll" in php.ini to enable oci API's.
2)Configured Oracle Instant client by adding path to Windows path variable as per it documentation.
3)Copied all Php4.4 dlls( oci..etc) into the directory pointed by "PHPIniDir", which is configured in httpd.conf
If i run phpinfo(), i dont see oci8 enabled in the output. I guess there is problem in the configuration? Any insights into the error is greatly appreciated..
BTW, I did same configuartion on Windows XP and is working fine..

Also, I dont see path value for path variable in phpinfo() ouput for Oracle Instant Client, which i updated in Windows?

My versions are: php5.2.1-Win32 and Oracle 10g
I have made the following settings:

I have followed all these instructions, installed what was specified (including all versions needed).
First problem I encountered was there were no oci8 title in phpinfo.php,
Second was when I compiled the oci8test.php it brings this error,
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ocilogon() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\ocisample.php on line 3
As I said, I have followed exactly what was specified in the instructions, yet the error is persistent.
Actions taken:
restarted apache
checked folder locations
checked php.ini-recommended
checked httpd.conf
everything is where they need to be.
I need help.

If this is line #3, then try changing "//127.0.0.1/XE" to "localhost", or better yet to your TNS alias, which is typically "XE".
$db_conn = ocilogon("hr", "your_hr_password", "//127.0.0.1/XE");
It should look like this if you're using a USER account of test with a password of test:
$db_conn = ocilogon("test","test","XE");

Under WinXp_Sp2 in iis I installed 5.1.6. It worked fine but when used with oracle 9.2.0.1.0 it gives error "Fatal error: Call to undefined function OCILogon()" while other extensions are working fine in extension dir. Please help me.

You haven't mentioned having 9i installed locally. This way it should work well but in some cases ORACLE_HOME dependencies could not be resolved. If you need precise information what file to put where try the filemon utility.

Even I am facing the same problem. I have done all the above mentioned settings. I have set the php.ini file with the extension dirt to "php/ext" and also uncommented the extension=phpoci8.dll . we r using PHP5.2.0, Apache 2.2 and Oracle 10g and installed both the XE and the Client edition of oRACLE 10G on windows XP.

Getting Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() error.

ok, so before I had my mysql_connect php script and it ran fine, no errors, but once I changed my php.ini file to give ERROR_REPORTING E_ALL I now get Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect(). I am just wondering how I can fix this?
I followed the arch linux LAMP wiki and I can't figure out why I am getting this error after turnning on error_reporting.

Only if you change the port from the default 3306. But even then, a different error message will output, in this case the mysql modules have not loaded for some reason.
There is a syntax error in your php.ini file, at line 510. Comment out this line as it's a line giving information rather than an option. Then uncomment the error_reporting option.
So this:

SIT Issues - Undefined Functions and non-compilation

Dear All,
FIrst off hi! Am new to LabVIEW, SIT and the forums. I currently have an issue with SIT 4.0 that I hope you can help me with.
Background:
We are trying to move a Simulink model off of a Windows environment into a cRIO-9004. This will run the simulation on startup and will get its data and will pass its data via UDP links (2 x Transmits, 2 x Receives). The system will not have a host VI, it is to run stand-alone in that respect.
Currently we have a model working fine in Simulink. It communicates both locally and over the network using custom UDP blocks that we wrote in C (and so have src for).
Issues:
Currently when we try to build a DLL from ANY model (even a simple output of a constant) the model will autocode into C and a DLL will build but when importing it into LabVIEW we are told that there are functions defined in the DLL that are not defined in the header (it lists a standard 21 functions [i.e. NISIT_<fn name>] ). The header seems to define a different 4 (or 5 - currently not to hand apologies) <Model name>_<fn name>. These are soemthing like Initialize, Update, Output, Terminate.
So I cannot currently import. The 21 functions seem overkill to manually define in the header but am I wrong? Why is the SIT not writing the header correctly. This issue relates to a model without our UDP blocks, the UDP functionality would be added around the DLL in LabVIEW using standard LabVIEW function blocks.
In addition, rather than directly importing the DLL we considered directly deploying a DLL with the UDP functions embedded in it. However, when using RTW in Simulink it autocodes to C fine, but upon compilation into a DLL is raises issues (in true MATLAB style, typically vague and non-helpful). Any ideas?

Thank you for looking into this and I must apologise, my original post wasn't all that clear with hindsight. So I will answer you questions and try to be clearer on the situation:
There are two situations and issues here.
1) Any simlpe model (i.e. constant -> output, or say pulse_gen -> transfer_fn -> output) will happily compile and link to a DLL using you nidll.tlc and the makefile etc that it produces. When importing the DLL (just standard import, not using SIT Connection Manager) I get an error, however:
2) When exporting a DLL (like above) it will load fine onto the target when using SIT Connection Manager, no errors like above. We thought of using this method to do everything in Simulink and use the SIT connection manager as above to load it all. The issue we were having with this is that the UDP blocks that were custom written would not compile when using nidll.tlc and the makefile etc. It will run fine as an s-function in Simulink. The engineer who wrote the blocks thinks it might be that your makefile would not like the UDP blocks as they use Winsock and he assumes that the makefile will raise an error as winsock will not be in the LabVIEW environment.
So to fully answer your questions:
1) What are the exact codes?
When examining the error in Situation 1 that's exactly what I get. Interestingly if I include all the header it lists on the right hand side (clearer in the following screen print) then LabVIEW hangs when adding parsing the "simstruc" headers: (N.B. if you are looking at the addresses of these images then ignore the name of this one!)
The other error I'm getting with regards to the UDP blocks manifests as follows (ignore Paint in the background showing the Config Screen):
2) Does the error occur for any model or just yours?
The errors surrounding the missing functions concerns any model when importing (SIT Connection Manager seems not to mind). The error when compiling/linking the DLL surrounds just our model due to the UDP blocks
3) Are the 21 undefined functions created by you or purely by the Simulink compiler?
We haven't touched any of the files after they are thrown out of the compiler. The 21 or so functions it lists all begin NIRT_<FnName> (N.B. I previously posted wrongly stating NISIT_<FnName>. NIRT_ is correct) so I assume that's the compiler. The ones defined in the header (the 4) all start <ModelName>_<FnName>
The functions I assume I want (copied from the produced header file - I have not edited it. RWFJMildModel is the name of the Model file. There are no instances of the letters NIRT):

The ones LabVIEW finds in the DLL (due to the DLL_EXPORT I imagine) and not the header can be seen in previous screen prints.
4) Are you using nidll.tlc as your System Target File?
Yes all instructions provided online, in the SIT 4 help etc are followed and this includes using nidll.tlc:
5) If the model you are trying to build does not use your custom UDP blocks, then why do you believe the issue is related to using WinSock in those blocks?
The model we plan on using eventually currently includes the UDP blocks, although if we cannot import them we will wrap the UDP functionality around the "rest of the model DLL" in LabVIEW provided we get that working. The other models are simple (as in thrown together in less than 30 secs) and I have no reason to believe this, I think this confusion was caused by my terrible first post, apologies.

Intermittent "FRM-41008 Undefined Function Key " in GL module

Some of the users keeps getting the following intermittent error when performing a query function in a GL form (GLXJEENT.fmx)
"FRM-41008 Undefined Function Key.”
We are on forms 6i patchset 17. with no customisation. I could not find any generic issue related to this on metalink (they were all releated to a specific form). I cannot reproduce this in development.
Please suggest some ways to troubleshoot/fix this.

DAO Error 0xc0d undefined function

Using Crystal Report 11 and unable to make a connection to an Access 2003 database using DAO or ODBC. I keep on getting various error messages about an undefined function. The DAO error code is: 0xc0d. ODBC has a similiar error. The OLEDB connection fails to see all of the stored prodcedures. Any idea how to fix this? Cannot do much of anyhting with CR XI because of this. The function referenced is a Visal Basic module that is defined with Access 2003. I have seen some posts saying I need to recreate the function in CR XI but, have no idea how to do that.

I don't believe CR supported Functions in Access. If you connect to the MDB directly it may work using the JET engine. But new versions of CR only support ODBC or OLE DB.
And XI end of life, you can upgrade to XI R2 for free, use your XI keycode to install it.
