Undeliverable gateway message
Hi,
It's been awhile I get messages from my GWIA with a status of Undeliverable gateway message. Analyzing the mime message is always problem with addressing, missing quotes in any address. Can I do something to automatically handle this problem?

Oracle XML Gateway Message Designer for Oracle EBS R12.1.2
Goog Day to everyone!
I'm Looking for the tool "XML Gateway Message Designer". I have found in Metalink(Oracle Support) the note ID 557101.1, here explain how to get the message designer for Oracle Apps R12. It says that you have to download the patch 4066964. This patch install the Oracle Workflow Builder (2.6.3.0.1) and the Oracle XML Gateway Message Designer (2.6.3). This tools are supported to be used with Oracle Apps 11.5.10 and 12.0.X.
The release of Oracle Apps that I'm using is 12.1.2.
Questions:
- The version of the Message Designer that you get from patch 4066964 works for OraApps R12.1.2 ?
- The version of the Workflow Builder that you get from patch 4066964 works for OraApps R12.1.2 ?
- If the version of Message Designer doesn't work with OraApps R12.1.2, where can I find one that works with it?
Thanks for your advice.
LCJHi Hussein,
Thanks for replay.
I downloaded the rapid install package from e-delivery. The B53824-01_4of4 was the OWB installer, and it has a readme file that says: "+This patch contains Oracle Workflow Builder (version 2.6.3.0.1) and Oracle XML Gateway Message Designer (version 2.6.3). These client tools are supported for use with an Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 instance.+"
I believe, as well as you, that it should be work for 12.1.2.
I'm gonna make some test, and in a few days I will post my results.
Thanks for the help.

Seeking examples of custom XML Gateway message map
I've been asked to create some custom XML Gateway message maps for inbound/outbound XML data feeds.
I've followed along at [this tutorial|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10537/T430238T430339.htm#T430357], but it stops short of telling me how to define a custom message map.
Does anyone know of a resource I could look at - a web site, book, etc., that would cover the creation of a custom message map?Have a look

Gateway message response back to smp
so we have an app that calls the oModel.create method. Which is sent to SMP 2.3 which sends it to Gateway to update a record. The BAPI comes back with a message of "record already created". In SMP log, it comes back with response code 400 which is basically a "HTTP Request Failed". Which is misleading in a case where everything is really good is just that the record can't be created anymore.
My question is, how can I get the verbose message from Gateway's response that is returned to SMP which is propagated back to my calling app?
Thanks in advance for any help.
JHTTP adapter would be an easy option for you.
If you consider your application as an HTTP client, then you can have a textbox in the application wherein you could display the response from XI. The similar situation could be seen in any http client tool we download from sdn. The xml is sent from any file and response is displayed in the text box.
can we avoid PI and go for EP.
The point here is that if you have to purchanse XI only for one requirement, then it would be costly business. However, if you already have XI in landscape and you want your systems to remain loosely coupled, then it would be better to use SAP PI.

OWSM gateway : Message not encrypted error
Hi,
I have a BPEL process which invokes a web service via partner link. Both BPEL and service are secured with OWSM gateway. In the policy defined for BPEL I'm doing Sign Message And Encrypt using XPath expression( which is working). In the policy for webservice I'm doing a Decrypt and Verify Signature . But its not invoking the service and throws a Client:GenericFault saying Message is not encrypted.
In fact the logs from BPEL after encryption shows encrypted data. But logs in service does not contain the same data.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I copy something ? I'm using the same keystore for both the policies. The version is 10.1.3.1
Please help me
Thanks
MeerAll of them are running with Win XP SP2 at work. NAT-Traversal: is Disabled. DMZ is enabled. Thanks

Inbound workflow mailer tags don't recognize Undeliverable system messages
We have an inbound Workflow mailer that was not set up initially to view or filter any custom tags. There are 2 "Undeliverable" messages, which seem to be looping in our inbox.
The undeliverable message comes in and gets filed to the "PROCESS" folder. It then seems to be triggering a invalid response template email to be sent, which then attempts to send another email to the invalid address, and gets received again starting the process over again. I have created a new tag on the workflow mailer Advanced setup with "Undeliverable" as the pattern, and "Unavailable" as the action. I have also tried the "Ignore" as the action but neither change sent the message to the Discard folder.

Dequeuing XML Gateway Messages enqueued with WF_SEND with Block Mode = Y
I am developing a process to dequeue message from the ECX_OUTBOUND queue. The message is enqueued by an Oracle Workflow processes which raises a WF_SEND event. The Block Mode attribute of the WF_SEND event is set to "Y" which causes the workflow activity to wait for a response from the messaging system. The XML Gateway User's Guide says "the messaging system (such as OTA or Webmethods) will return the delivery status regardless of success or failure".
My process successfully dequeues the message but the workflow process remains active waiting for a response.
How do I return a response (the delivery status) to XML Gateway to cause the workflow to continue or error?Hi,
Run the diagnostics script in (Note: 732295.1 - R12.0.6+ : Oracle Application Object Library XML Gateway Engine Setup Test) and see if it returns any error/warning messages.

Mail won't download "undeliverable" warning messages
Hi
My employer runs an Exchange server and Mail normally interacts with it ok.
If I send a message which (for whatever reason) doesn't get through, then the Exchange system sends me a message warning me that my original message is undeliverable. And there's the problem: Mail doesn't see these warning messages. The only indication I have is that the unread message count for the account goes up by one but then drops back to zero when I try to see the unread message. I have to go to another mail client to delete these warning messages. Looking at the text of the warning messages, they look just like any other email. I have no filters etc which would stop them from getting through.
Any suggestions please?
Bob
PS: This might be related to this similar problem posted here:
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=999846&tstart=15Hi Bob.
If the Exchange server does this in a non-standard way, that could be the cause of the problem, but I don’t really know the details nor how to solve it. Take a look at the following thread:
False unread message count using Exchange
The other thread you mention in your post appears to be a rules issue. I haven’t replied there because the OP has already stated what the problem probably is, but appears to have done nothing to address it yet... -
Windows 8.1 not able to reconnect after user accepts Gateway logon message
I spent all morning troubleshooting a connection problem with a client. It turned out that the TS Gateway message prompted to users on first login was the culprit or rather the option to NOT display the message again.
When "Do not ask again..." is select a user entry is written in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Gateway\Messages
If the entry was present the client was unable to login again, when I deleted the entry and only accepted the terms but skipped the "Do not ask again..." the user is able to login again and again.
Now I need to troubleshoot why this is happening. Any ideas?
Client: Windows 8.1
TS Gateway: Server 2012
Terminal Server: Server 2008 R2Hi,
Is there any error message when the client cannot connect to the RD gateway?
Also, please check if there is any related information in the Event Viewer of both client and server sides.

How to see Dispatcher, gateway and Message server port numbers?
Hi All,
Can any body tell me how to know the port numbers of dispatcher, gateway & message server in a particular sap application server.
Thanks & Regards
Srinivas KHi,
This is very work around way...
SM51-Choose theserver-there one icon (Magnifying glass) choose detaiols -
There you will get dispatchet port.
SMGW -
dispaly file(icon) -
in that you can find the port on which gate way is working.
SMMS-goto-parametere--display...you can find the port for MS.
SMMS -goto-display details (will give more info) you can find diff ports ...
Apart from these all these services when they start they write log in work dir there we can find which port they are using while starting ..
We can find them in the individual monitoring t-codes like SMMS,SMGW,SM51 etc..or from AL11 go to work dir and look at dev_disp,dev_ms,dev_rd.
This is all very work around...
The best will be services file at os level.
Thanks. -
UTL_SMTP redirect undeliverable messages to a different address
Hi everyone,
I am using UTL_SMTP to send out email messages. The email address I am sending this from is a high profile address and he does not want to receive bounce back message about underliberable email.
Is there functionality n UTL_SMTP to re-direct these underliverable messages to a different email address?

Once an email is sent via Oracle it goes to an SMTP server (email server) from where it get's sent on to the destination email server to attempt delivery.
If an address is undeliverable, the message comes back to the sending email server from where the owner of the address can see the message.
Nothing comes back from the mail server to Oracle and there's no way it can. Once Oracle has sent the message outbound to the mail server it's no longer anything to do with Oracle (you will know this because your procedure will return control to the next line of code etc.) Whether an email address is undeliverable or not isn't something that is known until the destination email server receives the message or after several attempts by the sending server etc., and that could take a matter of minutes, hours, or even days before it's known. You can't expect the email server to somehow report that back to Oracle.
So, options are...
Provide a sender email address in your message that isn't this persons email address, so anything coming back goes somewhere else (or automatically in a trashcan), or
Set up mailbox rules on this persons email account so that any "undeliverable" messages automatically get put to a certain folder, or deleted or whatever.
The issue needs resolving at the email server side of things, not Oracle. -
Many undeliverable messages I didn't send
I received a bunch of undeliverable mail messages early this morning. I never sent out a mass email message. It appears the email sent under my address was regarding pharmaceuticals....did someone hack me? What can I do to make sure this doesn't happen again?
It's unlikely your address book has been hacked. It's simply that spammers have picked up your email address from somewhere and are forging it as the 'From' address on their spam. When the spam hits servers that reject it it lands back up with you are a result. It's a very common problem.
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do except wait it out: it will probably stop after a bit as they move on to another forged address. It's a nuisance, but it's nothing to worry about. Just delete and ignore. Don't try responding or taking any action, it will either have no effect or make matters worse. -
Coldfusion Socket Gateway in web application help
I've created a Java Socket Gateway in ColdFusion to talk to a 3rd party API.
User requests their credit balance by clicking a button.
On clicking the button, a socket is opened with the 3rd party server in CFML, it sends a gateway message (request for balance) and the template request ends. A listener CFC waits for a response, and receives data back 15 seconds later and deals with the results but in a different request.
I'm not sure how I give these results back to the user as it's not completed in the same request? Do I look at web sockets, node.js, CF web sockets or just poll with ajax?
I'm new to socket communication and the api I'm using and unsure of how to proceed, can anyone offer any advice or tips?
Cheers

Anyconnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway
Hi,
I have configured cisco 1941 with anyconnect VPN. I have installed the anyconnect-win-3.1.07021-k9.pkg on the flash memory but it seems something is missing. When i access the router and download the anyconnect, the following message appears on the browser "Failed to get configuration because Anyconnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway". therefore, i have downloaded manually the anyconnect and tried to access my network. Unfortunately, the application does not connect and the "Anyconnect cannot confirm it is connected to your secure gateway" message appears.
it can be noticed that i have an android phone which successfuly connects to my network without any problems.
Please see below my configuration and i will appreciate if someone helps with this....
