Undelivered mail issue
We recently upgraded from CF7 Standard to CF9.0 Enterprise. After working out several bugs, we have everything working correctly except the following.
Undelivered mail messages are not being routed to the mail/Undelivered folder. I have to assume they are being deleted. The undelivered mail was moved correctly in the CF7 install.
When I go into the CF Admin -> Mail section, and then click the View Undelivered Mail button, I get the following error:
Error invoking CFC /webroot1/CFIDE/administrator/mail/undeliveredmail.cfc : Not Found
The file in question does exist in that folder, and has the necessary access rights.
Anybody have any thoughts on this? I'm at a loss and can't find anything relevant on the web. Thanks in advance.

For troubleshooting, please try to turn off Auto-Complete List name suggestions by following steps.
Click the File tab.
Click Options.
Click Mail.
Under Send messages, select or clear the Use Auto-Complete List to suggest names when typing in the To, Cc and Bcc lines check box.
Then try to select the address from Address book and send messages. If this issue persists, please let me know.
I will appreciate for providing me the NDR to check this issue.
By the way, which list you delete the address from?

Unity Connection Voice Mail Issue
Hi,
I have a weird Unity Connection Voice Mail issue and would appriciate any help i can get. Many thanks in advance.
I have Unity connection 7.0 and CUCM 7.0 integrated in a lab enviroment and here is what happens.
When I place a call internally say from 2001 to 2002, things work as expected, 2002 rings and it goes to voicemail where I can leave voicemail and listen to it from 2002.
However, if I place call from the PSTN to the same number 2002 (or any other number in other sites etc) the call again rings in 2002 and goes to voicemail, unity cnx plays the greetings for 2002 and says record your message as usual. Everything up to point is fine, then when the time on the PSTN phone is showing around 14 seconds into the call unity starts playing, "to send this message press one", if I press one nothing happens.
I have rebuilt unity and cucm, even just configured the bare minimum in the lab and still getting the same result. I tried calling from E1 connection and T1 connection but with the same results.
I have run out of ideas...

1. ensure your protocols are bound properly on the GW, i.e. SIP/H323/MGCP
2. Make sure IP routing is OK between Unity and the voice gateway

I have various groups setup up on our server with users added. When I send an email to the group the members of that group are receiving my message, so I believe I have the correct settings for group emails.
The problem I'm having is that after a few weeks mail stops being forwarded to the recipients in the group and gets returned as "Undelivered Mail Return to Sender". I can get everything working again if I stop the Web service and then restart it.
This problem is driving me crazy as I cannot locate what might be the cause. Any help would be great.
ThanksI guess you might be using the wiki group email feature ? or a script that goes through the groups you have setup and builds an alias database ?

We have been using Apple Mail at our school for some time with few problems. We use it as the link to an outside POP3 service. Recently, as with so many other users, we have begun to have serious issues with crashing, loss of messages and issues with both sending and receiving at times. A new one has developed now. Disk Warrior was run recently and seemed to have had decent results. Upon closer inspection, it has apparently altered the modification dates of many user files and folders, as well as mail files (all to the same date: April 1, 1976). Now with mail, users are finding the message: 'The message from <[email protected]> concerning "(subject") has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.' The account is already online. I'm not sure if this is a result of the Disk Warrior intervention, or if it is a continuation of Apple Mail issues, or both. Also, users click on one message, and another displays. If you scroll through your messages, continuous crashes occur, and sometimes all messages disappear. Fortunately, with our mail service (Gaggle), we can retrieve messages directly online.
The issues do not occur in Entourage, and I am testing a couple of other mail applications as well. So it is definitely an Apple Mail problem. I have tried many of the fixes I have seen in other posts, but with no success. Running Disk Utility or Tech Tool has no effect. Our solution for now is to just not use Apple Mail - which our users are use to.
I will be curious to see what solutions come out. This is a serious issue for many users.Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Just switch from ipad 3 and restored from iCloud. That was a mess s I had to delete old apps that shouldn't have installed. Now my mail only shown up for a few accounts. Other accounts keep asking for a password which i entered numerous times. Then is says "connecting" in the status area, but no mail shows up. I tried resting network setting, no fix. I really don't want to start this ipad from scratch because this is exactly why I paid for the iCloud upgrade...to restore my settings the way I left them.
Nevermind the mail issue. I had to reset my macmini server.

MBA lion Mail issue: window disappears randomly
hello:
Having some MBA 13' mail issues:
1) mail window will disappear (only using cmd+0 shortcut will bring it back - or going to window>message viewer) randomly without any reason
2) starting up a new email or new note then closing this note or email will close the entire message viewer window...why?
3) emails deleted within the 'inbox' section will not delete in the Gmail section (setup as IMAP, with Gmail defaults)
I am a little concerned with 1 & 2 becuase these are huge user experience issues, it is the most frustrating thing to have to continually use the short cut to open up a window which should not have disappeared in the first place!!

I've got the same issue. It seems to happen randomly but so annoying when it does. Upgrading to Mountain Lion hasn't helped and I've changed my keyboard and reset all the short-cuts to the default settings and still it happens in Mail and Microsoft Outlook for Mac when I'm typing a mail.

Sender Verification Number e-mail issue.
I have tried to e-mail photos through adobe e-mail and the system send me a notice that I need to use a "Sender Verification Number" that has been sent to my email address. However, when I check my e-mail there is no e-mail message. How do I get the verification number. Adobe does have my e-mail address on file.
Tried this and it still not working. Also, Get a message that some of the files are not photos even though they are all photos from the same camera. Could it be that Norton 360 is causisng this? Thanks for your help.

Having Some Mail issues on Apple Mail 5.2
Hi All - Having some mail issues lately with my gmail account Imap set up.
I can receive mail but when trying to send mail it pops up with the follwoing:
"Can not send message using the server smtp.gmail.com"
I tried deleting the gmail account on my iMac and setting it up again. in the set up It gives me two choices as an outgoing server:
smtp.gmail.com and just Gmail. If I choose Gmail I can send the messages, but is this secure? I've always used smtp.gmail.com for outgoing without any problems.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

"Red Dots" in connection doctor on the old smtp.gmail.com but it wouldn't work. The new outgoing server - labeled merely Gmail works and appears to be the same as smtp.gmail.com, but I've never seen this in the past - it's always been called smtp.gmail.com I wonder if Google changed the name? -

Apple Mail Issues After 10.10.2 Security Update
I've had outgoing mail issues in Apple Mail in Yosemite on my macbook pro consistently since the Yosemite update. I've tried multiple recommended fixes including deleting and resetting all accounts with the latest instruction from bluehost. Over the last several months, some "fixes" had seemed to work for a while, and then the problem would resurface. The "on the fly" fix is always to quit mail, cycle my wifi off and on, and then reopen mail, at which point, the hung-up emails all send and things work fine for some period of hours until the problem comes back.
Interestingly, the problem seemed to finally disappear on its own a couple of months ago! No problems for that period of time! UNTIL I updated my macbook pro with the latest Yosemite security update a couple of days ago. Now the problem is back with a vengeance!
Any help would be appreciated!I have tried to quit mail and turn wifi on and off with no results whatsoever. This is really frustrating, I can't work!

New to the Tour and BB, two e-mail issues. It won't see or open e-mail PDF attachments from just one particular sender (he uses a Mac, but shouldn't matter). BB opens other PDF's fine, and they open in my laptop's Outlook just fine from this sender (but not on the phone).
Next, e-mails come in to BB already opened (in both the Messages icon and the Yahoo e-mail icon on the BB), only some stay bold until I click on them? This happens when I have not checked e-mail on BB or on my laptop, yet they still show as opened on BB with just a few staying bold or unopened? I have Auto Open in Holster set to Never, and don't do any reconciling. Any help with the two topics above would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!@D55R33WW - The previous client was able to correct this by adjusting the send/recieve frequency within Outlook and in your case within MacMail.

If there are too many pop connections at once on the account then it will keep other connections from accessing the account and you will receive that error message.
What I would recommend here is that your customer adjust the frequency (10 mins or more) that their email client checks the mailbox.
To clarify a bit further, the system can handle the frequent pop connections, but sometimes the email clients fail to close their first connection correctly which leaves it idle on our system for some time.
Then when they try to connect again they encounter errors because there are already connections for that account.

I keep getting "undelivered mail returned to sender" that comes with an attachment. i do not open the attachment but i get email returned from people that i have not emailed in years. I also have current people that tell me they receive email from me and there is nothing on the email and it is a repetative thing for them and for me. I have scanned my computer and it keeps telling me there are no viruses but i keep getting these emails. can anyone help me please!
Someone is probably sending spam with your address forged on the To: line. Could be one of your old contacts with a Windows machine has a virus that's doing it. It's also possible your e-mail account has been hacked, though I'd think such a hacker would be a bit more purposeful.

Since up grading to new Lion I am having e-mail issue.
I will not recognize any passwords from outside accounts even though they are correct?
I have reset in system pop preferences and still does not work.

Bellsouth "send" e-mail issues
I am having a Bellsouth send e-mail issue that has cropped up in the past couple of weeks (no changes in settings on my side). Don't know if it has anything to do with Bellsouth's conversion to AT&T or not.
Basically, I can receive e-mail and send newly created, blank e-mail. However, I am unable to send e-mail with attachments or reply to e-mails received or forward e-mails received.
I tried a suggestion of changing the port number from 25 to 587 to no avail. I confirmed my Preference setups with Bellsouth tech support and they say everything is configured OK. Thinking it might be Apple Mail, I downloaded and used the Thunderbird e-mail client, but that exhibits the same problems noted above (similar message about problems with the STMP server or the server is unavailable or is refusing STMP connections. Again, this only happens with certain types of sent e-mails noted above).

I had problems when I converted to Mac last Spring, and most of the problems came from the DSL Tech Support Team.
Please make sure that your settings haven't changed from the following.
Go to Mail - Accounts
POP Acct Incoming Server: mail.bellsouth.net
SMTP - Outgoing Mail Server: mail.bellsouth.net
Click on Server Settings:
Sever Port Should Be: 25
Make sure SSL - Secure Sockets Layer Is *NOT Selected*
Click OK
Select Addvanced on the upper right of the Accounts Tab.
Port should be : 110
*Do Not Select* Use SSL
Make sure the following are selected:
1) Enable This Account
2) Include When Automatically Checking For New Mail
3) Remove Copy From Server After Retrieving A Messagee
