Under the tool menue i have tons of erro console problems
When i open the tools menu and go add on i have stuff there that i don't remember putting there and I am getting hundreds of errors and warnings on the error consol
You can ignore (CSS) errors in the Tools > Error Console.<br />
Those errors are only useful if you develop websites and want to check the HTML/CSS and JavaScript code for errors.<br />
Most errors are code for other browsers like IE or browsers on other platforms or just typos or the result of bad coding.<br />

Customize item under the Tools menu removed from Designer 9.0
Hello all,
I have a client who used the Customize functionality under the Tools menu in Designer 8.2.
After they upgraded to LC ES2 and Designer 9.0, they discovered this functionality is now missing,
despite the fact that it is still referenced in the help.
Does anyone know a way to 'turn on' this functionality in Designer 9.0, or was it truly removed?
If it was removed, does anyone know why?

JasonIt was truely removed as the underlying libraries were changed in that release.... it is a documentation error that it is still there. It might re-appear in a future release but there are no guarantees.

I have a standard Oracle form open, and I want to open my own custom form, leaving the standard form open, so users can navigate back and forth between the two. Do you want to make the option 'not visible' or 'visible but not enabled'...?
For the first option you probably would need to do form personalizations...
For the second option you can refer to the following metalink note... "Note ID 264461.1"...

Where do I find Pixler Grabber. The new Firefox stinks.
To access the classic Tools menu, press Alt+t or just tap the Alt key to display the menu bar.
To keep that bar full time instead of the orange Firefox button, use View > Toolbars > Menu bar, or right-click a blank area of the tab bar and choose Menu bar.
Does that work?
Edit: I don't use that add-on, but some add-ons now integrate into the Web Developer sub-menu on the Tools menu, so you might check there as well. -
What is Memory Fox, an option under the Tools menu?

How can I retrieve the "Basic" menu on Lightroom 5? I accidentally bumped something while working in the Develop module of Lightroom 5, and now the Tone Curve menu is directly under the Tool Bar, with no option to click on "Basic."
Right-click on Tone Curve and choose basic again or press Ctrl+1 in Develop.

Several months ago, malware of some sort replaced this url with one of their own. I got rid of the malware and put back my original home page, but I'm continuing have a problem: Every time firefox goes to my home page, rather than using the whole url that I've specified, firefox truncates this url to just the first 87 characters, and goes to this truncated url instead:

Not only is this not the url that I have specified in the General tab under Options in the Tools menu, I always get an error message in an additional tab whenever Firefox goes to this truncated version of my home page. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get firefox to use the entire url I have specified as my home page in the General Tab under Options?
I do not know if this is relevant or not, but I noticed that prefs.js includes two other user prefs related to the home page in addition to the one that identifies the url I chose:

Hi All,
I've just been hired in a new editing company where we are producing pictures in black and white to illustrate our book.
The previous person that was occupying this position could manage the pictures workflow through bridge using a script that was in the Tools menu and use to select several picture and send them to photoshop to apply and converting script (black and white convesion).
The problem I encounter on my session is that I can't send picture to this photoshop script using Bridge ... Can someone help me on this ?

Thank you for your suggestion. I have Sync enabled for all the profiles. To my surprise, however, Sync was of no use in getting Default's extension collection into Shopping. For that I had to resort to the article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox.
I will try disabling Sync on Shopping. -

You are right.
Before HiDpi displays became available three years ago, you could find advice about what was the good resolution for displays, depending on their size in in/cm and viewing distance.
- For relatively big displays (22" to 30") a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080 was considered optimal.
- For big laptops or small desktop, 1680 x 1050 or 1640 x 900 were good.
In Windows, you could set the size of fonts to full resolution or 25% or 50% bigger... if the software supports this feature, which was not the case with Photoshop, Elements... The size of the fonts was deternined and fixed in the software itself, with no way to scale the fonts. The solution needed Microsoft to provide developpers with new programming interfaces and the solution for developpers was to rewrite a substantial part of the code.
Anyway, to enable good viewing of characters on common 12 or 13" HiDpi displays, you need to use the fonts at 200%.
And that makes sense. To see the same characters on a 12" display the same as on a 24", they must be twice the size... good rule of thumbs. -
I am having trouble seeing the small print on my Facebook page and also I cannot use my full screen in Cafe world. I have been trying to find the tools menu here on Firefox which would most likely enlarge my screen, but I haven't had any luck so far. please help.

Hello, using firefox 6 . windows 7 . under the tools button click on options to try and configure after changing to my desired settings in this case it's my home page it allows me to apply but then it refuses to close the window by using the OK button and have to close the window by clicking on the 'X' out thus not saving my changes. HELP please?

I have two versions of my bookmarks under the bookmarks menu
I have 2 versions of my bookmarks in the bookmarks window - one after the other, but I can only access the first one in "show all bookmarks" Unfortunately, the second one is the one that is being updated when I save new sites. How can I get rid of the first version that shows up when I try to access bookmarks from the bookmarks menu?
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

This is specifically referring to Foxfilter. It's annoying on certain sites. (which I already know to be safe.) But it says I can adjust the filter in the Tools menu. I just can't find that menu.
