Under tolerance in scheduling agreement

Hi all,
What is the effect of under tolerance in scheduling agreement (SA)?
I created a SA in ME31L with over and undertolerance.
Then I created delivery schedules.
I can receive the quantity defined in the delivery schedule plus over tolerance.
But what if I receive less than the quantity in the delivery schedule ? how the under tolerance works in this case?
Regards,
CD

Hi
Let us say you have defined 10% as Overdelivery tolearance and 7% as Under Delivery tolerance. You have created delivery schedule of 100 EA as the Qty.
- You can receive the goods against this delivery schedule and quanty can not exceed 110 EA
- You can receive goods against this delivery schedule and quantity can not be less than 93 EA
Underdelivery tolerances are not defined in cases when you accept partial deliveries from the vendors....

  • Over Delivery Tolerance for schedule agreements

    Hi,
we have overdelivery tolerance of 10%  in schedule agreement and system is allowing to do GR for more the the over delivery tolerance.
can any one tell me how to get the error message while doing GR for more than the over delivery tolerance in case of schedule agreements.

See OSS Note 874264 - MB01/MIGO: Default quantity for goods receipt posting
    3. The basis used for calculating the over or under delivery tolerance is the quantity ordered, in case of purchase orders, and the suggested quantity, in the case of scheduling agreements. If you want the system response to be the same for scheduling agreements as it is for purchase orders (that is, you need more generous tolerances) see also the SAP Consulting Note 741385.
For items with a confirmation control key, the basis for the calculation of the over or under delivery tolerance is the quantity ordered or the total of the schedule line quantities.

  • Fully Close Off Under Delivered Schedule Agreement Line Items

    Hi There,
I am supporting a customer who is having an issue with line items on a scheduled agreement, which she has closed off, appearing in MIGO.
Example: I have a scheduled line item of 100 EA.  I GR 90 EA but I am happy with this so I want to close off the line.
I go into ME38, select the line item, click the delivery schedule icon, set the scheduled quantity to 90 and click the fixed check flag. I refresh the Schedule Agreement and re-release it.
However when I go into MIGO and do a Goods Receipt for my scheduled agreement, MIGO is still proposing the 10 EA to me.
    I have two questions
    1) Are the steps I am doing the correct way to close off an under-delivered scheduled line item
    2) If 1 is correct, how come the 10 EA is still being proposed and how do I stop this happening?
Many Thanks for any help provided,
    Colm

  • Scheduling agreements with delivery schedule  - Deviation tolerance

    Hi,
Within sales order document "Scheduling agreements with delivery schedule" (LZ) it is possible to enter deviation tolerances (e.g. deviation in quantity) manually for each single item line.
Does anybody know, if it is also possible to set up firm tolerance groups with assignment to customer / material, which are copied automatically into item lines of scheduling agreements?
    Thank you for your assistance.
    Best Regards,
    Melanie

    Hi,
It is obvious that, a schedule agreement needs to come with the fixed delivery qty and dates.
Pls explain your requirement in detail so that you will get a clear solution.

  • Scheduling Agreement with LPA

    Hi,
I am trying to generate schedule lines and release them to delivery schedules with doc type LPA.
I have done the settings in MRP2 view and done the settings in source list, info record and scheduling agreement.
I have created and Plnd Independent requirements in MD61 and executed the planning run in MD02 but unable to create schedule lines.
Could you please advise me if i am missing any settings or config's.
I wan to know how the zones work with LPA and how the whole cycle and the functions available with LPA.
    Responses will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mittu G

    hi
These are the Prerequisites befor you go on to SA with release
Scheduling agreement releases (FRC and JIT schedules) can only be generated for scheduling agreements with release documentation (in the standard system, document type LPA).
(In the standard system, the Release docu. indicator is selected for document type LPA in Customizing for Purchasing under
Scheduling Agreement -> Define Document Types.)·
If you wish to work with JIT delivery schedules, the JIT schedule indicator must be set in the material master record (Purchasing or MRP 2 view) and the Additional data of the scheduling agreement item.
You create SA releases by means of the Purchasing menu via
    Scheduling agreement -> Create release
Choose release type ->FRC and JIT delivery schedulesSelect scheduling agreements - Specification of plant
Scope of selection- Changed or next date
Creation- According to strategy in profile, Tolerance check active
On the days on which the next FRC date (1st. Monday in the month) or the next JIT date (Monday each week) is reached, scheduling agreements with the above profile settings are selected and SA releases (delivery schedules to be issued to the vendor) created (because the next creation date has been reached).
    Reward points if useful
    Thanks & Regards

  • Scheduling agreement schedule lines

I am facing a peculiar scenario. There are scheduling agreement line items that have multiple GRs on various dates.
It has been observed that in some schedule lines, the GR quantity is greater than the scheduled quantity.
Under what circumstances can this happen?
    Any idea will be appreciated.

    Hi Paul,
The target quantity has not been compromised, only the quantity of a particular schedule.
The tolerance is set to 0. Hence, normally it does not allow GR of quantity greater than scheduled till the current date.

  • Schedule agreement-JIT and creation profile (are necessary to maintain)

    Hi Friends ,
I am doing schedule line agreement in this way.
    1) Create SA agrement -ME31L
    2) Maintain schedule lines -ME38
    3) MIGO-
    4)MIRO
    That is working.
A ) But then why it is necessary to maintain in material master under purchasing tab- JIT
    and
    B) in vendor master -Creation profile
Please can u explain me A and B
    Regards,
    Mahesh.

    Hi Mahesh,
Maintaining JIT in material master is necessary only if you wish to Use JIT scheduling agreement schedule lines, if you are fine with only FRC schedule line, then you don't need to update this field. This is a control on the material level, like you know if a certain material can't be managed on a JIT level then you will not use it, so JIT agreements can't be created for it.
I don't feel Creation Profile is mandatory for vendor master, because you can opt to enter the creation profile in the Scheduling agreement additional data. Creation profile basically has a lot of control function, here isthe abstract from SAP Help
    The creation profile determines:
Which event triggers the creation of a scheduling agreement release (changes involving the lines of the overall schedule and/or the reaching of the next transmission date)
How the delivery dates are shown (aggregation and release horizon)
Whether Backlogs and Immediate Requirements are determined and shown in the scheduling agreement (SA) release
Whether a tolerance check is carried out for SA releases that are created due to changes to the overall delivery schedule in the system

  • Schedule Agreements with JIT/FRC

We are using schedule agreements with JIT and FRC.  When MRP runs it generates the delivery schedule lines with the delivery dates which appear on the JIT/FRC schedule.  However, when MRP pulls in the date and suggests a new (earlier date) in MD04 under rescheduling date, the date on the delivery schedule and the JIT schedule do not reflect this rescheduled date.  Is there a setting or some configuration I have missed.  I need to have the delivery schedule and JIT schedule reflect the rescheduled MRP dates.

    Thank you Ramakrishna,
I tried entering the data as you specified (below), but it still did not bring the rescheduled dates into the delivery schedule.  I tried increasing the days and %, still no change.   My rescheduled dates go back to March 07, but the delivery date still says 8/07.
    A few questions:
In the Tol. profile under Legnth in workdays, what does this mean if I enter 10.  Does it only check the previous 10 days?  and what does each period do?  Do I need to specify days and %'s in each period?
    <b>Tolerance Profile</b>
You specify 10 days as the checking period for JIT schedules, since this corresponds to the release horizon. You enter 5% as upper and lower tolerance limits and choose Overall check.

    Elizabeth

  • BOM in Scheduling agreement (Type LZ)

    HI
I am using scheduling agreement (Type LZ) for maintaining my sales plan for a period of 4 months. (1st one month - daily & subsequent months as weekly requirements). Ii would create delivery and invoices for each supply.
Pricing previously was based on the finished product (basic price for product was available). SO there was no problem.
    <u>New requirement:</u>
finished Product above - is made up of components. Now, price should be derived from components. For this I have enabled SD Bom for my finish product.
But the problem is when i use the Finish product code in scheduling agreement type LZ, the BOM doesn't explode (it explodes in other scheduling agreement types, say LP)
    Clarification:
    1. Is it possible to calculate price of the higher level material by summing up the components' price?, with out BOM explosion
    2. Is BOM explosion possible in scheduling agreement with delivery schedule (LZ).
    Note:
    1. Necessary settings for item category & BOM master already in place.
    2. BOM is exploding in sales order and other sheduling types, except doc type LZ.

If it is maintained as error message, it does not allow me to maintain delivery schedule more than target quantity of 100 EA. Also the overdelivery tolerance is maintained as 20 %, so it should allow me to maintain delivery schedule of 120 EA, but it does not allow me to maintain greater than target quantity of 100 EA. Please let me know your comments.

  • To generate Schedule lines for scheduling Agreement when MRP is run.

    Hi,
Please help advise on my following requirement:
When I run the MRP for 'Single Item - Multi level' (MD02) for a material, I want MRP to generate delivery schedule lines for that material in Scheduling agreement.
Please advise as to how i can go about with this.
    Regards,
    Manju

    Hi Manju,
For this you need to set creation indoactor for planning run in SPRO.
The path is spro-MM-CBP-Carry out overall maintenance of plant parameters-Click on maintain-give your plant-click on external procurement under planning run-here you can give your option for the schedule line creation.
Traction code is omi8. Hope this will help you.

  • Scheduling Agreement

Hello Guru it is very very urgent plz give me answer what to do
This problem occurs in program Y_EX34_LVED4FZZ_001.  The problem is that the current code assumes that VBEP-ZZSID will never be repeated by the customer, so all deliveries in the history can be checked when deciding whether or not to retain a schedule line.  New information has confirmed that Nissan repeats their ZZSID numbers annually, which leads the current code to delete open schedule lines that had deliveries against them in prior years.  Here are the recommended steps to correct this:
    1.     After obtaining the VBEP data and before selecting from ZZDLVRANSID, find out when the relevant schedule line’s delivery schedule was posted, using the following steps:
    a.     Find the record in VBEH for VBEP-VBELN, VBEP-POSNR, and VBEP-ETENR that has the smallest nonzero value in the internal delivery schedule number field (VBEH-ABRLI).  If none is found, take the record with ABRLI = ‘0000’.
    b.     Find the record in VBLB for VBELN and POSNR that matches ABRLI.
    c.     Take fields VBLB-ERDAT and VBLB-ABRDT_ORG.
    d.     If ABRDT_ORG is not 00/00/0000 or 12/31/9999, use it as the comparison date for this logic.  Otherwise, use ERDAT.
    2.     When selecting later from LIKP, also get the planned and actual Goods Issue dates (LIKP-WADAT and LIKP-WADAT_IST).  If WADAT_IST is not 00/00/0000, use it for the comparison date for this logic.  Otherwise, use WADAT.
    3.     Before incrementing XLTOT_PGI or XLTOT_DEL, ensure that the delivery you are working with was shipped after the schedule line that you’re working with was received (the VBLB date from step 1d is less than or equal to the shipment date from step 2).  If it is, proceed with the calculations.  If it isn’t, don’t add the quantities from this delivery into the totals.
    Testing Strategy
    ·     In CTA, we will need to coordinate with the EDI team to find out if any customers exist that use replace logic for which data can be pushed in and tested.
    ·     In FTA, scheduling agreement 300027861 is an excellent example of this issue.  We can get the EDI team to re-send data for that scheduling agreement (or for other scheduling agreements under the same customer), and process the IDOCs individually to test that:
o     Deliveries that were shipped prior to the open demand’s delivery schedule creation date are excluded from the assessment of whether or not to delete the schedule line.
Deliveries that were shipped after the delivery schedule came in are included in the assessement

Only ABAPER will give the good result, but no body is taking risk

  • Scheduling Agreement –delivery date in month format -  MD04

    Dear experts,
    Scheduling Agreement, forecast delivery schedule.
When I enter a delivery date in month format, the system, during processing, automatically checks the factory calendar and proposes the first valid working day as the delivery date. ( Yes. I know it is a SAP standard )
My requirement is automatically checks by the system  the last  working day as the delivery date.
Could you tell me what are the settings i need to check to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance
    artur

As pointed out already above you need to use a periodic lot sizing procedure.
Use Lot sizing procedure P, Lot size indicator K and Scheduling =2
As per your requirement, you need to create a calendar using MD25 with Months (Workdays) as a calculation rule with 1 as the period in the box provided.
After a MRP run the delivery date would point to the last day of the month.
But the requirement is a bit surprising as say for a requirement on the 1st of the month you will have the delivery showing up on the last day of the same month. Under what circumstances do you have this requirement as a valid one in your business case?

  • Scheduling agreement - automatic delivery schedule line generation

    Hi,
we assign our scheduling agreements in source lists with MRP indicator on 2 (Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically). As we don't know what the future demand pattern for the product will be, a longer validity date of the source list item is entered, in comparison with the actual validity period. However, all new schedule lines which are generated within this validity period are assigned to the scheduling agreement, even if the quantity of the scheduling agreement has been reached (even outside of tolerances). Can this behavior be changed ?
    Thanks for any valuable input.
    Kristof.

    Hi,
    thanks for your reply,
Generally when we create an SA, user will give the schedule line dates instead of that  the system has to propose the delivery dates.
    My requirement is:
On the scheduling agreements we need to automatically propose delivery dates based on criteria like every Monday, etc. These dates need to get calculated automatically from the header and then get calculated to each JIT tab at the line item.
Is there any document which will hlep in getting the Delivery dates automatically,
am looking into Lz, LZJ but bit confused with these two document types.
Can you please explain more the functionality of these two.
    Regards
    Nath.

  • Document flow is not updated for Scheduling agreement

    Hi Gurus,
Can you please advise on the below issue..
Some deliveries created with reference of schedule agreement are not displayed in scheduling agreement in forecast delivery schedule under delivery tab and as well as not updated in document flow for VBFA table.
There are two ways to create delivery with reference of Scheduling agreement , 1)  Create Delivery order (Order Type   : TAM) with reference of SA, then delivery for TAM order.
    2) we can add the line item in existing TAM order with reference of SA .
Advance thanks for your valid points.
    Best regards,
    Venkat.

    Hi Ram,
Thanks for the reply, there is no issue in copy control settings.
    Best regards,
    Venkat.
