Understanding the correct use of FromOrderComponets and ToOrderComponents
Hi all
Someone could help me understand the difference, and in what case I must use fromOrderComponets and in what case i must use toOrderComponents.
In the Decomposition Rules.
I've done multiple orchestrations to own cartridges, by multiple products, and I've never needed to use the expression toOrderComponents, because we've always used FromOrdercomponents.
any explanation is helpful,
Best Regards
David A Leon H
Hi Leon,
In the Design Studio Help, please refer to "Working with Decomposition Rules" inorder to understand Decomposition Rules.
Property Correlation is used while setting a dependency in the Product Specification. This is where FromOrderComponent & ToOrderComponent both are extensively used. For more information, please refer help section for the following.
1)About Order Item Dependencies
2)Orchestration Dependency Editor Order Item Dependencies Tab

How to set the correct shared pool size and db_buffer_cache using awr
Hi All,
I want to how to set the correct size for shared_pool_size and db_cache_size using shared pool advisory and buffer pool advisory of awr report. I have paste the shared and buffer pool advisory of awr report.

* Note there is often a 1:Many correlation between a single logical object in the Library Cache, and the physical number of memory objects associated with it. Therefore comparing the number of Lib Cache objects (e.g. in v$librarycache), with the number of Lib Cache Memory Objects is invalid.

I have set up iTunes Match on only 3 devices (my Windows 7 desktop and 2 iPhones) and am now trying to authorise my new Windows 8 (Toshiba) laptop but I keep failing to authorise the laptop using my one-and-only Apple ID. Does anyone have advice to solve this problem?!
Hi all. I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues. Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem. …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive. Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab. Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
Open the Users folder.
Open your user folder
Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco. The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”. Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear. Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
Good luck… -
What is the correct procedure to connect and collect events from IPS through SDEE
What is the correct procedure to connect and collect events from IPS through SDEE?
We are a 3rd party application, that needs to collect and analyze the IPS events for a client.
Currently the approach we are following is
1) get a SubscriptionId using the URL below
https://IP_Of_IPS/cgi-bin/sdee-server?action=open&events=evIdsAlert&force=yes
This gets us a subscriptionId which is used in step 2
2) Collect events from the url below
https://IP_Of_IPS/cgi-bin/sdee-server?confirm=yes&action=get&subscriptionId=sub-sample&startTime=1362699903575432000
a few more notes here are
- starttime is current time in nanoseconds
the peculiar problem here is that, even though we specify todays date, SDEE returns us the events from mid Feb (today is march 7)
we did try a few combinations, but are out of ideas.
any help or direction would be appreciatedThis is more an application issue than an IPS issue.
Have you compared your app against other apps [IME]? -
I recently purchased a shutter release remote for my IPAD camera but the cord is only three feet long and I need an extension cord. I purchased a 3 banded AV extension but it doesn't work. I have been told that I need an extension cord that has AV and Mic to enable the remote shutter release to work with the extension cord. Can anyone tell me what the correct extension cable is and where I can find one? Thanks.
Greetings,
I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
Good Luck - Cheers,
M. -

Is the OS using parentalcontrolsd: RemoteService and xpcd: for Maintenance ?
I'm trying to flush out some weird OS activity that I just started noticing on my (3) different 10.9.5 Mac platforms.
Is the OS using parentalcontrolsd: RemoteService and xpcd: Interprocess Communication and Services to launch scan, observe, I/O messaging, maintenance and repairs on the OS ?
This may have been going on for awhile, but I just began noticing similar and random events on my (MBP, Mini, MacPro) Console Logs that have occurred while the systems were either being used during the day, or idle overnight. Parental Controls have never been setup on any of these systems, each has only one User Account (Admin Level), all are on my in-house RFC 1918 Network via PW protected Airport Extremes. I just began observing these events, and now beginning to save the logs when they occur and just doing some research.
Some of the events are identical across all platforms, some are different, all are at different times of the day, all launch parentalcontrolsd: (RemoteService) that conducts either a scan, access, process or observe event (FSEvent, Cache API, I/ODevice, Kernel). Most of the parentalcontrolsd: events launch a xpcd: command line of varying sorts, so I know it is activating message traffic.
I haven't knowingly observed any of the events as they occurred yet, but just installed Snitch on all of the platforms and will start watching and logging. If anyone knows if Apple uses this method for their automated update and error correction, you'll save me some time wondering about this activity… After some thought if it's justified, or nefarious. I think the ARD.app, ParentalControls.app and FindMyMac.app (Location Services) have the potential of being terribly misused by a ne'er-do-well...
Incase it turns out to be the latter, does anyone know some command line to remove the ARD.app, ParentalControls.app, FindMyMac.app without throwing kernel panics and errors in the remaining OS ?I thought about doing what you suggested but was worried that it might try to start setting up a new partition on the hard drive and trash my existing system. Any idea if this is a safe method to test it ?
BTW the Snow Leopard CD came with iLife & iWork and is sold as a bundle called "Mac Box Set" it was on special and was cheaper than just iWork or iLife alone. -

I cant upload through muse's uploaed to ftp host. And it is so slow! I have the correct password, ftp server, and user name frustrating!!
What version of Muse are you using? If it's not 2014.2, please go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App or creative.adobe.com and update.
The FTP login failure is most likely due to your host not supporting FTP Extended Passive Mode. In Muse 2014.2 switch to "Passive (PASV)" in the Connect to FTP Server dialog.
Regarding performance, how large is your site (in pages and megabytes)? How many Design view tabs are open? What specific operations are slow?
If you'd like to send your .muse file, I'll take a look and attempt to isolate the cause of slow performance. Please send me the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks. -
ive recently purchased an i phone. i have an ipod with and account. while trying to access i tunes or apps for purchase, i am able to log in, but then it asks me to validate my info. so i do. same credit card, card number, sec code. billing address, everything that is used on my ipod. then i try to verify and it says....we couldn't verify your address. make sure you've entered the correct street, city state, and postal code. please help.
I'm suddenly having this same problem. I've had the other problem for a month or two where I had to reverify my payment info every day, and now when I do that I can't because it says the address that's been in there for 5 years is now unable to be verified. Anyone else? Any suggestions?

Can you change the units used for size and position in layout editor?
Hello,
In Aperture 3.4, does anyone know if you can change the units used for size and position in layout editor? The page is set in inches, but the image size and position are given in centimetres and I would prefer to work all in inches to create custom layouts. I can't see any way to change this. If anyone knows how it would be much appreciated. Thanks!Aperture uses the unit settings defined in the System Preferences. Set the "Measurement Units" in the "Region" tab of the "Language & Text" preferences to "US"; the Aperture will display the Size & Position in inches, if it is the "Book" layout manager you are asking about.
Merry Christmas!

How to find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job Codes
HI All,
I just wanted to know how do we find out what are the interfaces used for Job and Job codes .
Thanks In Advance
SunnyHi,
Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV ) - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ, ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose, Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
(number for query run)
Create a condition , for top 20.
Hope this helps.

Well, with iTunes 4.x, it used to be that when you burned a data disc from iTunes on a Mac, it would rename files with characters that were invalid on other OSes (like "?"). And with iTunes 5.x - NOPE! Now I cannot copy files from my Mac over to iTun
