Undesired Enlargement

I finally succeeded installing Adobe Reader X using Chrome (which I could not achieve via Firefox or Explorer), it seemed to work like a charm for one use. Now, when opening a PDF file, every open program or desktop icon is grossly enlarged. In between checking why this might be happening I am getting messages talking about a problem with my system configuration. Since I had been able to use a previously installed AR X version for a months or longer without problems, I wonder what interference has been happening. Any clues?

Are you printing or copying? I just checked and the print driver in Windows 8.1 does not have an elargement option. If you are copying then the defaults an be changed as follows:

I will try a second attempt for my wish to add a feature to the crop tool:
I like the cropping tool in lightroom, but there is one feature I miss:

Knowing, that in most situations the limiting cropping is ok, I wish to have an option to enlarge the resulting image like this way:

It is okay, if there is an option in the preferences with the ablility to select a color for the "new" pixels and the crop tool will only enlarge the picture while pressing the control key (to avoid undesirable results).
You can say: "take the right picture, move your camera", but in such photo sessions we have some good reasons to take the pictures in this way.

Of cause, after enlarging by Lightroom, I have to do something with the new area/pixels by hand. By the way, I only wish new pixels in a, in the settings definable, color - no "intelligent" enlarging.
In the session of the shown example we took 50 product pictures. In 45 pictures are the products inside enough for the cropping tool. We need a fix rotate angle for all the picture so we use sync settings to transfer all settings (white balancing, color, light, rotate, crop). 5 pictures we cropped to much, so we have to rotate in later in photoshop - this breaked the workflow.
I like Lightroom very much, because it is much faster than Photoshop, non destruktive and it is easy and fast to repeate the processing if you need to change some parameters. So I which to do the most steps in Lightroom and only those steps, for which lightroom is not designed, I will done with Photoshop.
I miss the enlarging also in other situations (like architectual or landscape photos). Sure I have to do some steps later by hand but I was able to the most steps in Lighroom in a single workflow with a single setting.

Enlarging Null and Cam

Hey guys, just experimenting and remembering how to work with nulls to control cams.
I noticed when I enlarge the null in one dimension, the camera's view also seems to widen. What's happening here? What is that and what am I doing that is causing the camera to "see" differently? I thought the whole point of a null was that it didn't have a physical dimension and was really only about orientation and position?

I'm trying to understand the program, not trying to criticize it. I love Adobe and AE. Did it sound like I was trying to pick it apart?
What I'm trying to understand is why when I resize it horizontally, it changes the camera view...and therefore understand how it's changing the camera view. This is an important concept for me to get about this. It's not something I have been able to find in literature or other boards. That's all I'm trying to ask. I'm not trying to argue with it or point out a flaw or something like that, I just don't understand what's going on. Is the camera changing and how when I enlarge the null?

I am attempting to plug my mac into my tv. I am using the mini dvi to s video adapter. When I plug it in, the display goes all wonky and becomes stretched and enlarged.

Ok, details of installation below, so when I try compose an email, I just get a compose window icon stuck in the windows
taskbar can't actually enlarge it and use it. If I restart in safe mode with all addons disabled, then it works fine. But
If I restart normally and manually disable addons/plugins, then close and start normally again i.e not safe mode, it
breaks, so does not seem to be an addon or plugin but rather something with the configuration.

When i enlarge photo (on some of my pictures) it quickly changes to a triangle with an exclamation point in the middle - how do I correct this problem?

It started a few days ago. I was looking through my photos. I could check them when they were smaller - as soon as I enlarged them - screen turned black, a grey triangle with an exclamation point appeared in the middle. It is not changing every picture - just some. How do I get rid of this problem? What caused this in the first place? Any help would be appreciated.

Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database, followed by Option #1 if needed.

Enlarging photo and saving the new look in I-Photo

After importing a JPEG photo into I-Photo, I want to enlarge a certain area of photo,example as someones face. Orginal shoot is far but after you zoom in with photo tools it's perfect. How do I save the change.Is there such option in I-photo or do I have to get another picture program? Information in this matter will be grateful.

I tried it and it works, just one thing. The area of a photo of were I would like to blow up, how do I make it to a certain size, like 3x5 all the time. Is there a setting that I have to set to were every time I crop and enlarge a portion of photo it arranges the size for me? Or do I have crop my size to 3x5 manually all the time?

The monitor's resolution is 1366 x 768 . Normally the Mac OS will give choices and recommend the resolution but pick 1366 x 768 from the list.

You may want to try reducing the resolution of your monitor if you are having difficulty with the UI. According to http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/tech-specs.html we require a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768. Perhaps try adjusting your resolution settings to this setting and see if it is a bit easier for you to utilize.

I just looked into both that app and into AirPrint (to see if that was a viable work-around), but it does not appear to be the case that you will be able to alter the size that text prints. It is directly conveying the information from the location you are viewing it from to the printer. When you enlarge the text on the phone, the text itself is not any larger, you are essentially zooming into the page. Leaving the base sizes of everything unchanged.
Much like looking through binoculars to see the moon. The moon itself is not larger, but with that aide you are better able to see it.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.
