Undisclosed recipients not working

hi,
so i have unchecked the preference in mail (when sending email to group show all member addresses), i have made a group in contacts, and when i compose an email i put that group in the to field. but when the email comes through it does not say undisclosed recipients but instead it reveals all members of the group. what am i doing wrong?

If I uncheck option "Show relevant rows only", iBot is working and delivering report but our requirement is to send data related to user. For the I checked "Show relevant rows only" but after that iBot is not sending email. I checked the log at "product/OBIEE/OBIHome/server/Log/iBots", but there is no error.
    If someone has faced this issue and has solution please let me know.

    You need to set "Data Visilibity" as "Personalized" in the General tab. That means that the iBot will run for each user as each user therefore you need to make sure that each user can read the iBot and the requests that it uses.

    I have learned to my chagrin, that group mail being sent to "undiclsoed recipients" is not working. It is unchecked in the mail preferences.

    Hasnt worked since 10.9  Workaround, use bcc.

    Few days ago a couple of company workers went to vacation. They set up OOF automatic replies in OWA 2013. However automatic replies are not working for external recipients (outside of company). Internal users (company users) receive OOF notification.
    I'm using smart host in sender connector configuration (SMTP server of internet provider) to deliver emails. Any clues about this problem ? Please find below part of the transaction log. For testing purposes i set up administrator account

    I observed the same, Book Mark Button availabe on web report is not working but Book mark URL can be saved with the context menu -> bookmark.
    need to check the Web template for  Book Mark.
    Bookmark URL can be saved and that URL is used to go fastly to the requied navigation fastly, that is the use of Bookmark

  • HT2623 How do I set up iCloud group contact lists with 'undisclosed recipients'?

    I have set up some icloud group contact lists (although not very easily as I had to re-input each contact into the group list as I didn't seem able to select it from my existing contact list and transfer it into the group).  Now I want to send e.mails to each group, but I want each contact address in the group to be private, so that the email says 'undisclosed recipients' as I see on other e.mails.  How does that work?  I had a practice bringing up the group name, but every e.mail show in the 'to' box...

    Go to your Applications folder and open Address Book > at the bottom of the left side click on the + sign to add a Group > name the group > click on All Contacts > in the Name column, drag one name at a time into the group you created on the left side > when you have all the names you want in there, close Address Book > when you want to email everyone in that group, simply open a New Message in Mail > in the To field, type in the name of the group you created > type your message > hit Send and the message will be sent to everyone in that group.

  • TS3276 Can't get rid of "Undisclosed Recipients" from my e-mail address.

    I made the mistake of using my e-mail address to send messages to "Undisclosed Recipients."   Now, no matter how I try to remove that designation from my address, it insists on retaining it.  Thus, my LinkedIn account, among others, is blocking me, because it does not recognize the altered address as part of my identity.   How can I return my e-mail address to its former, pre-"Undisclosed Recipients" state?

    It has been a while but, as I recall, I deleted the "Undisclosed Recipients" entry and, instead of getting trapped in that monster again, I opted to use one of my e-mail addresses as the primary recipient, and then inserted groups of recipients I wanted to reach into the BCC field.  That has been working well for me.
    I can't find a more detailed account of my procedure but, in essence that was what worked for me.

  • Undisclosed-recipients bcc and Tiger vs Leopard Mail

    I have a a bit of a puzzle.
    I am on Tiger still, but was helping someone with their iMac that runs Leopard. I was showing them how to use the BCC address field when composing a new message, and had them send me a test email. When I got it, it said "undisclosed-recipients:;" in the To field. Now, in the past messages addressed like this would show me my address in the To field, and no one else's.
    Is this a change in Leopard? Showing "undisclosed-recipients:;" instead of that individual's email address? Is there a way to change it so each recipient will see their (and only their) address in the To field?
    Also, I had the student (Leopard) BCC himself for practice. However, his email to himself never showed up. And he has no rules or filters set up so it didn't get diverted into Trash or Junk Mail. Is that a problem with Mail, or an issue with his email server/provider?

    From the get-go of installing Leopard, my mail has been full of problems that did not exist when I was on Tiger. I can not send or receive attachments, it is ungodly slow, and sometimes something seems to be coming in but doesn't and I have to go into my provider, Net Zero to get it. I also have to go into Net Zero to take them off the server if I have over 3 e-mails or it just keeps trying to remove them-just like it is constipated.... These are only a few of the more aggravating problems that make me want to revert back to Tiger and be done with Leopard.
    I would like to know if all "dial-uppers" on Leopard have these problems with mail or just Net Zero people and do any of the people on "high speed" have difficulty with mail and Leopard? I did go back to Tiger today and Mail is a dream to work with once again. The heck with Leopard until the problem is fixed.

  • Issue with spamassassin, now mail not working

    Hi ! I installed spamtrainer almost two months ago. Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now , 700 emails each day at least .
    There was very little improvement if none at all. Tried to add "@local_domains_maps = (1)" to amavisd.conf last night thinking it might be the problem , though no virtual domain exist. This was one of the issue on the default Amavisd config. The other one is adding the symbolic link which I already done.
    Computer froze while adding the parameter "@local_domains_maps = (1)", so I manually turn off the Power Mac, then mail stopped altogether. The mails are filing up but the clients couldn't send or receive since this incidence .

    You are welcome. I'm glad you got it back up.
    (1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
    (2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
    (3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.

    I have a Mac running OS 10.8.5 and I use Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader. Today for some reason, any time I try and access a pdf file from a web page, it won't open. I get a blank window. PDF files already on my computer open fine and I can create PDF files from Word docs, but I can't download or view any pdf file from any web page. Strangely, PDF files on web pages open just fine on my iPhone.
    I checked that both my copy of Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader are up-to-date. They are.
    I checked that my copy of Firefox is up-to-date. It is. And nothing changed with Firefox within the last 24 hours.
    I am a humble computer end-user. I am baffled as to why this would suddenly not work. I have not changed any settings, etc. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I checked your instructions you sent and as far as I can tell all of my settings, etc for Firefox (plugin updates and preferences) are correct but I am having the same problem.
    However, everything works in Safari. I don't have time to attempt to diagnose why Firefox no longer works. I will just switch to Safari.

  • SQL Server 2012 Database Email is not working with AWS SES Services

    Hi Greetings to all,
    I have issue with the SQL Server Database mail Services. I have Configured Amazon Simple Email Services (AWS SES) as db profile in SQL Server and for last 2 years its working perfectly. But, from last two days on wards it is not working properly the Emails
    are queued but not sent to the recipients. the SES Services are working fine in outlook. but, not working in SQL Server. 
    Please help on this. tried changing the ports no result only one or two emails only sent remaining are failing.the info messages is as below

    The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 10 (2015-04-10T17:12:41). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (The operation has timed out.).

    Try to use port 465, port 2587 or port 587 instead of using port 25, as explained on the following articles.

    The first of above URLs is intended for troubleshooting SMTP issues in general.
    Verify you the mail account has not reached any limit. Limit of emails per day, per second, etc.

  • Factory unlocked iPhone 4S ios 5.1.1 emoji is not working under some circumstances

    I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4S
    I have a $50 monthly 4g plan on tmobile but I doubt that is relevant
    I am running iOS 5.1.1
    Whenever I send emojis to other iPhones  my recipients cannot see them unless it is on iMessage.
    Even on the Facebook app, I can see emojis that friends send me in messages but when I reply with an emoji via facebook it says "message cannot be delivered at this time"
    However one single emoji does work on Facebook and it is the red heart
    Can someone help me fix this or at least tell me why it won't work?
    I can see emojis fine but for some reason I can't send them. Not even on facebook

    T-mobile is not a supported carrier of iphones and not all functions will work.  this is probably the reason emojis will not work.   Switch to At&T

    I only tried this because a colleague mentioned that he had tried and could not make it work. So I though I would investigate.
    So I had test user Alan Reid send seven emails to test user Aisha Bhari. The subject was respectively: Blue, Red, Yellow, North, South, West and East. The content was "Export-Mailbox test 1" then 2, 3, 4, etc.
    So at the start of the experiment, Aisha Bhari's Inbox looks like this:
    Thinking, at first, that I needed to have an export folder (in fact, if I just want to delete, that is not necessary) I executed the following command:
    export-mailbox [email protected] -TargetMailbox ExportMailbox -TargetFolder ForDeletion -SubjectKeywords
    "Red" -DeleteContent
    Then realizing that was not necessary, and that the processing of the Calendar and Contacts was delaying the experiment, I used this command:
    export-mailbox [email protected] -SubjectKeywords "Red" -ExcludeFolders "\Calendar","\Contacts" -DeleteContent
    I tried "Red" with and without quotes.
    I tried "Blue" and "North". I tried the -ContentKeywords switch with strings like "mailbox" and "test".
    The output that displays after the command is executed puzzles me. I read:

    From your description, I would like to clarify the following things:
    1. You need to grant the account which perform the task the full mailbox access permission.
    2. Export-Mailbox only marks the items for delete. It doesn't actually delete them. So "-DeleteContent" only marks it for deletion. Your mailbox retention schedule will delete the actual emails.

  • Access to Outlook Anywhere does not work

    Good evening,
    I recently installed an Exchange Server 2013 CAS / MB.
    Until now, the server presented a few errors (mainly in the
    event log) that does not seem to significantly influence functionality.
    This week I published the server on the Internet and verified various malfunctions
    related to the access from outside.
    In particular from outside:
    1 - OWA does not work with Windows integrated authentication, it works with the Forms based authentication;
    2 - Outlook Anywhere does not work from internet.
    I've done a lot of research and testing without success.
    With regard to the first issue (which is not a priority but can relate to second one)
    add that in Firefox I get a first authentication request. If
    I enter credentials it ask again for identical authentication (repeatly), if I cancel it shows a second one that instead allows me access (are slightly different).
    I assume that the first is the integrated Windows application and the second is basic authentication.
    Internet Explorer shows me only the first authentication request and if I cancel shows blank page.
    The problem is
    priority 2:
    Outlook connects without problems on LAN network, the Internet
    seems to download the correct information
    (autodiscover), but then does not connect
    to the server (connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable).
    If you manually edit the settings,
    auto-configuration server returns as
    a [email protected]. If I change
    manually the server (and proxy settings
    http), the result does not change.
    - Setting information -
    The server is installed
    in the LAN network and is exposed on the Internet through
    a firewall (Pat on port 443, et al. not 80)
    on a public address.
    The public and private DNS have been configured with a
    host record (A) and two
    CNAME (webmail and autodiscover).
    The internal Outlook clients connect
    with autodiscover and HTTPS /
    NTLM / SSL (Outlook connectivity
    status).
    IMAP, SMTP, POP, ActiveSync function.
    Exchange remote connectivity analizer retrieves Autodiscover information but doesn't pass test for RPC/HTTP access (it discard accesson
    port 443 and try port 80, SPF isn't configured).
    The navigation to the url
    https://proxyexternalURL/rpc/rpcproxy.dll  has the same behaviour like problem 1.
    Test-OutlookConnectivity returns unmanaged error ('WARNING: An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: Failed to find the probe result for invoke now request id -- and probe workdefinition id --').
    Errors in eventviewer: 5011 - WAS (one time), 139 - MSExchange OWA (some not ripetitive), 3028 - MSExchangeApplicationLogic (every 6 hours), 106 - MSExchange common (many during working hour), 65535 - application (some at nighttime 00.00 - 03.00 a.m.), 1006
    - MSExchangeDiagnostic (every 30 min), 6002 - MSExchange Mid-Tier Storage (about every 5 minutes), 5 - MSExcahnge Workload Management (one time).

    3- The port 80 is not open and are not published SRV records.

  • "Send" button not working in Mail

    Picked up Leopard on an iMac two days ago. Some of the time when I compose a new email, Mail works fine--I click "send" once I'm through typing and out it goes.
    Other times--like this morning--I try to send an email and the "send" button is transparent and does not click. This is not a server issue. I tried adding the recipients to my address book in case there was some weird thing where that had to be done first. But to no avail--the "send" button won't click, nor will the "send" command within the toolbar or drop-down menus--and so I have no clue how I'm supposed to send this email if the button to do it is not working. Help!

    Unfortunately, the SMTP and outgoing mail settings aren't the issue. The issue is that the "send" button is visible but un-clickable. I tested sending mail from all of my accounts and it works just fine--sometimes. Other times, I try to reply to an email or send out a new one and the "send" button does not allow me to send anything at all.
