Undo a sync?

I just got a shuffle to hold my running music - but somehow I have synced all my music to it. Is there any way of undoing the sync or do I have to remove the unwanted music manually album by album?

What is on your iTunes library and what is on your device are not related. If your device is indicating that you do not have enough storage, you need to go to Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage to see how much free memory you currently have. You may also want to check your sync options in iTunes for your device to make sure you do not have it set up to sync all of the music in the Library. Click on the Music option in the Sidebar and see what you have selected for your music sync.

Jus the opposite way they got there. Go to the photos tab, uncheck sync photos, sync the phone and they will be gone.

Undo Contact sync?

I upgraded to iPhone6 and gave my iPhone5 to my sister. Trouble is, I forgot to turn off my iCloud backup, which syncs my contact and notes. My sister started editing the contacts and notes to tailor her needs, deleting most of my information in process. Because I didn't turn off iCloud on that iPhone 5, all her changes metastsized onto my iPhone6.
I've only done manual backup onto iCloud (since I don’t have a PC or mac) and do have 2-3 old backup files dated prior to this fiasco. I was able to restore those backup files on my iPhone 6 and see my deleted contact and notes fleetingly (for about 1-3 seconds) before they disappear.
I suspect that my restored old contact and notes are being overwritten by iCloud’s “sync’ed" contact and notes. My questions are:
Does my backup file contain these old contacts and notes, or am I just hallucinating?
If it does, how can I keep them without being overwritten by iCloud?

You can use Time machine to restore your contacts to a previous state.

My mom and I set up iCloud on each of our iPhone 4. My whole family has only one apple ID, and now because of that, my 250 contacts have been synced on to my mom's iphone along with all of her previous contacts. On my mom's iPhone, if she turns off Contacts in the iCloud menu in Settings and click "Delete from My iPhone," will this delete ALL of the contacts (mine + her previous ones) on my mom's iPhone, or just the 250 that just synced from my iPhone?

Your contacts should be on your computer.
You should have been syncing them with your computer from day one.

Oh, so you don't want your phone number linked to your iMessage on your iPad. The way to fix it, is to sign out of iMessage and Facetime on both devices. You then need to sign into the iPhone iMessage first, then the iPad. The only way I can see to fix it with your iPad in a different state would be to wipe it in iCloud.

HELP! i need to undo syncing of 2 Blackberry devices!!!!!!!!

I had an OLD black berry (think the very first version) that i was using as a temporary phone while Bell sorted somethings out. Needless to say i got a Storm 2 9550 to replace that, however did not do a transfer sync right at once.
So both phones ended up having different contacts, sms, etc. Today i went and did the transfer, and instead of adding what wasnt there, and keeping what was it put only the old phones info on it, (deleting?) the new phones information.
After completing the sync, my Outlook will no longer open, so i cannot see if the changes are there too.
PLEASE HELP!!! is there any way to undo the sync?????????

Did you by chance happen to copy all of your contacts to your SIM card (or, conversely, to your phone)? If so, then you have a backup in the phone. Otherwise, I think you're out of luck.
If you've had to re-enter everything, I recommend copying all of the entries in your phone to the SIM card (on the phone, go to Phonebook Menu>Copy>All to SIM). On the other hand, if you typically store everything on the SIM card, copy "all to phone". Now you have a backup.

I thought the settings were correct when I did a sync, but the data on my iPhone got replaced with the smaller database. Is there any way to undo a sync back to an older iPhone backup?

You can erase all content on the iPhone by going to settings>general>erase all content and settings
If you do not want to lose all the data on your iPhone you'll have to manually delete the stuff off the iPhone you don't want.
Go into the summary page of your phone in iTunes and untick the syncing options etc.
If you no longer have the iPod and don't want any of the content from it you can delete the backup from your computer and it will forget you ever had it

Managed to sync the 4 with the "profile" of the 3G on the computer but I wanted to create a new "profile"

On your iphone 4, Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings...that should take but a minute or two, and when finished your phone will look just like it did when you pulled it out of the box.

Yep, so I meant to just sync the "enable profile corrections" but instead ended up syncing a B&W filter as well (yellow). Then I went around and edited some other photos without realizing my mistake, so I can't simply push "undo". Is it possible to undo the sync or do I have to go through all 577 photos and manually undo it?
