Undo button indesign doesn't work

Hey guys,
I made a dossier in indesign (mac) for my design class and I worked over 24 hours on it.
Tomorrow, I have to hand it in, but then yesterday suddenly my SAVE, SAVE AS, and UNDO and REDO buttons didn't work anymore! So I let the laptop like it was and today I worked again on it,
but I accidentally deleated the wrong layer and now THE WHOLE DOSSIER IS DELEATED!
I can't undo it, because the button still doesn't work and I'm lucky that some hours ago, I exported the data as a PDF-file which thankfully worked, but there are still hours of hard work missing and now my project is not finished!
Can anyone help me? Please, I'm freaking out right now!!

No, you'll never get back any changes you made between the last save and the time the file was closed. If that was three hours work, that's unfortunate. My advice was simply a way for you to recover as much of your work as possible so you wouldn't need to start over from nothing.
Consider this as a good lesson in workflow habits. Save often, and I recommend doing a Save As with a new versioning name (I append a number) at each major change point where you are about to branchin a new direction. This gives you not only a set of backup files, but the ability to easily go back to a previous version and go in a new direction.
It's also good to develop the habit of hitting Cmd-Z (Ctrl-Z on Windows) for Undo immediately after you make a mistake, though it sounds like you actually tried to do this. File > Revert can be helpful too, if you've been saving right along.

Power button that doesn't work?

My power button is not working. I have tried to force reboot by holding down the power button and the circle button but its not working. Also, all of the sudden when I'm talking on the phone, all the buttons get triggered while I'm talking on the phone: like mute, facetime, hold.
Any ideas of what is going on? Thanks.

Mine did this the other day and it was a result of getting wet while I was running. I let it sit a while and air dry and it worked fine afterwards.

Hi, my wife has noticed the problem which started to appear on her iPhone 5 after she has recently upgraded to IOS 7.0.2
Power button randomly doesn't respond to power off the phone but never to power it on. Does anyone has similar issue?

The issue could be a faulty power button. There's nothing, that I'm aware of, in iOS 7 that would cause inconsistent power button functionality.
Make sure you depress/hold the power button long enough to see the RED power off slider.

To be honest I don't know what do you mean with format the windows with the folder of drivres by mistake.
Can you use these buttons? Do they work?
Do you have problem with illumination only?
Open Toshiba Assist (shortcut is on desktop) and go to optimize. I think there you can find option to start Toshiba hardware settings. if I am remembering well there is tab called illumination or so. Check if this option is enabled or disabled there.
Check also BIOS settings. In advanced option you can also find settings for ON/OFF illumination.

Button Event doesn't work after interactive pdf form creation

Hi everyone,
I have an interactive form created after clicking on a button in view 1. The interactive form ui element is then in a view 2, with a button "back" to return to view 1. The problem is that this button no longer works (it worked on 2004, i'm upgrading to 2004s).
By its behaviour, i can say it doesn't even go to the server anymore. I allready checked if the plug data was lost or the event onAction was empty, but in the dev studio eveything looks fine.
Does anyone has any ideas that could help ?

CS5 "Undo" keyboard command doesn't work...

..after I enter a custom size in a document window, still continues. If I use "built in" size views w/ command + or -, everything is fine. As soon as I type in 52% or something in the window, command +z for "undo" does not respond. Only the redo/undo history pref's on the wheel on my wacom intuos4 functions for undo. It's not a random occurrence, but reliably repeatable on my system. Or is it only me?
This is kind of pain in the arse for my work flow... would like to troubleshoot, and get this solved. The offered up adobe temp app/script thingy(?) for 10.6.4 or .5(?) doesn't help. Thanks!

Thank goodness someone else has finally posted the exact problem I'm having. Not because I'm glad you're suffering Tim, but only because it lets me know I'm not alone! I've searched the net high and low for months looking for someone even having the same issue, let alone someone posting a fix.
The Undo function stops working for me from both in the drop down Edit menu and the keyboard shortcut as soon as I type in a custom zoom value for the document view. This interrupts my workflow to the point where I'm not even using PS CS5 until this problem is fixed. I'm using the entire CS5 suite + PS CS4.
Can anyone help?

Yep, it is fully updated. I¹ve already tried throwing away my preferences,
yet the ³undo² problem happened again. I¹ve re-started, repaired
permissions and etc. I should tell you that I can undo, just not with the
keyboard shortcut. Nor, when the shortcut problem comes up, will my mouse
scroll wheel make the contents of a palette go north and south. Another
weird thing that has happened once or twice is that the image thumbnails in
the layers palette have not displayed the mask, in both adjustment and image
layers, after I¹ve used a brush of any kind. Instead, the thumbnail of the
mask will look like the gray and white checkerboard that transparent layers
show. I can get the thumbnail mask to come back if I click several times on
adjacent thumbnails. It kind of seems that PS is running too slowly to
re-write the thumbnail immediately, which doesn¹t make sense because the
MacPro is a 2.93ghz eight core running 16gb of RAM. The file sizes I work
on vary from 30mb to 500mb or so not too huge, though I think the ones
that have the problems I¹ve described are on the larger side. I¹ve got it
set for 25 history states, which ought to be ok.
Another odd thing. I often have 2-4 images open at a time, and the problems
will only be happening to one of those images. On all the other images the
shortcuts, scroll wheel, thumbnails are all ok. Any ideas what the hell is
going on here?

Is Photoshop fully updated?
(boilerplate-text) As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try
trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions,
Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences
you¹ve changed) by pressing command-alt-shift on starting the program or
starting from a new user-account.
System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts,
cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for
such tasks.

Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your
fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)
If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of

Highlighting button picture doesn't work CS3

i made my buttons in Photoshop CS3, imported them into Encore CS3.
When the button is active i want use as highlighted a image.
The menu works, also the highlighted function but it doesn't show the
image like in photoshop, it only shows a single-painted image (most grey).
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Unfortunately, because of the DVD-spec., a Highlight is only a 2-bit color image from one of the Menu Highlight Color swatches. Now, you can create variations of multiple colors, but nothing approximating a continuous tone image.
You can "fool" the user, by creating a duplicate menu with the images in place of the normal Highlight. You'd have your Highlight on the original Menu transparent and the Button to Auto-Activate. You'll need a duplicate Menu for each Button though.
It takes a bit of work and it will help to have a navigational flowchart drawn out ahead of time, but the effect can look quite convincing. If you go this route, do a test burn to DVD RW, as you will likely get a black flash in Preview, that should not be on the burned DVD.

On/Off button light doesn't work.

Have a new W2071d monitor...turned the computer on this AM and everything turned on, but the on/off light on the monitor doesn't light up at all...Clicked the button a few times, but nothing....I do have the manual saved to my computer, but I couldn't find anything about it to solve the problem.......Anyone have any ideas?.....Thanks, Pipa

No "Submit to SAP" button, the submit button offered doesn't work

Hello everyone,
I am working with the interactive forms and I have tried going through the PDF about how to use an RFC with the interactive forms. During the tutorial, they say to add a button called "Submit to SAP", but I don't have one. I have groupings for Web Dynpro ActiveX and Web Dynpro Native, but neither of those have a "Submit to SAP" button, only regular submit buttons. I have tried adding these submit buttons, but neither one actually submits my data. When I click on them in the form nothing happens.
I am running NWDS 7.0.10

We had the same problem and when we installed ACF on the client machine it resolved the problem.
