Undo link between service ticket

Dear experts,
By using CRM 5.0 and IC WebClient, one of our user managed to create a link between 2 service tickets in the production system. What is the procedure to delete this link?

In our business process, we will create sales order from Service Notification and we can see the same in the Document flow. But when i check in the VBFA table, there are no entries. For one Sales Order # figures in Notification header table- VIQMEL-VBELN.
Similarly Notification # figures in Sales Order Header table- VBAK-QMNUM
That is a solid link right there.
I Also guess technical objects like Equipment, Serial number also form link between the Sales and Service Documents.
Also check out the logic in document flow program RIBELF20, may be it will give you the clues to the problem.

Link between Service Entry Sheet and Material Document

I am busy with developing a report where i am required to find the link between the Material Document and Service Entry Sheet.
I am aware that on the Purchase Order Data tab of the Material Document has the service entry sheet number and line item. However the problem I have picked up here is in the event I create a Service Entry Sheet with a service in line 1 and for some reason Delete that Line and then capture the service again, it is saved in table ESLL as line 2. This is correct. However when I have a look at the material document, it references it as line 1 of the service entry. Is there any way to get this in sync?

This table does show the service entry sheet number and line item however the line item does not correspond with the line item on the service entry sheet.
Eg.
I create a service entry sheet where I capture a service in line 1.
I delete Line 1
I recapture on line 2.
Post Service Entry
The Material Doc reference document is the service entry however the line item for the reference is 1.
I need to try and link the line items

Link between Service Call and Marketing documents not working

Hello all,
I found a field in Marketing Documents - Rows data - that should be the link between a Service Call and the Marketing Documents.
The field is for example "INV1.isSrvCall" but, even if I create an Invoice from the Service Call, the field will be populated with the value "N".
Dows anyone knows how to make this field work? Or any workarround to make the connection between a Service Call and the generated documents?

The problem with SCL4 is that SAP updates it way too late in the process to be meaningful while in the module. You create a service order, then go into the expense document. That is when we need to know the service call id and the internalsn of the equipment being worked on Only when you get out of the service module do SAP post to SCL4.
The data (before writing to SCL$) exists as a veriable on the original service form. But can we access it from the expense document?
The question is how to access the data (service id) on the original service form from an expense document within the servide module. It is the service form, and that is currently not in focus, so I do not know if you can access it as a varaible, while in the expense document (sales order or invoice) that is in focus.
Can any one help with this/

Hi Tanja,
instead of directly selecting some data from the DB tables you should read this information via the BOL (c.f BOL Programing - CRM - SCN Wiki for a short introduction).
Using the transaction GENIL_MODEL_BROWSER you can browse through the data model and find the suitable relations for reading the required data. In your case one possible approach to access the data is BTAdminH->BTHeaderBillingSet->BTBillingSetBuAg. Once you have the BuAg BOL object you can simply read the TOFPAYM property.

Link between Service Order / Confirmation in CRM and Purchase Order in ECC

Does anyone knows what the possible link is between a Service Order / Service Order Confirmation in CRM and a Purchase Order in ECC ? I heard that this could be found somewhere in the document flow of a Service Order ....
How do we get the Purchase Order number from ECC in the Document flow section of an Service Order in CRM ?
We need the PO number somehow to be able to create a Goods Received document in ECC from CRM.

Hello Abjuh,
As of CRM 4.0 (with Service Industry extensions), you can automatically create ECC Purchase Orders from a CRM service order.
It is possible to track the status of the individual service order items with the document flow.

sorry, but it might be that I did not understand your inquiry well, but you can create a purchase requisition or PO with item category services and account assignment category "A". In the accounting screen to your servcices you can enter the asset numbers. It is also possible to include an accounting information with reference to a project or a WBS element...(tables EBKN, EKKN, ESKL, etc)
If it does not answer your question, I would like to ask you to provide more infor about the issue.

Hi Freek,
I just had to do this and found the answer... the table SCL4 when linked to OSCL (service calls) creates the correct link to output a listing of documents related to a service call by service call.
SELECT T0.[DocAbs] FROM [dbo].[SCL4] T0 INNER JOIN OSCL T1 ON T0.[SrcvCallID] = T1.[callID] WHERE T1.[internalSN] = [%1]
In the above case I needed to find all documents related to a specific SERIAL NUMBER but you can filter by service call ID as follows:
SELECT T0.[DocAbs] FROM SCL4 T0 WHERE T0.[SrcvCallID] = [%1]
I just selected the document numbers, but you can do a lot more with this table.
I got to thinking... if SAP does it on the service call then why do we need some workaround to achieve the same results...

What is Service ticket management.The same is known as Case management functionally.

Case and Service ticket (service order) are different transaction types.
Cases are integrated with service orders in the People-Centric User Interface for service order processing. You can create a case for a selected service order and that order is automatically linked to the case.
Serice ticket management is nothing but service transaction management. You can use service ticket management to enter and process service orders in your Interaction Center (IC) WebClient. The service ticket provides central access to all information and functions that are necessary for processing service orders.
You can make the necessary settings for the service ticket by choosing Interaction Center WebClient > Business Transaction > Service Ticket.

Hi Philip,
What do you mean by RFC calls? Do you want this information outside CRM?
If not, then CRM_ORDER_READ FM is enough. You just need to look into the values in returned table ET_DOCFLOW.
It will list all the related transaction GUIDS in OBJKEY_B including your problems and solutions.

You can use the Service master created using T code AC03 while creation of Purchase Requisition.
You cannot create service master using T code ME51n

Failed to retrieve data from the database/invalid argument provided when employing link between two web services datasources

I am trying to join information from two related web services within CR XI. I have successfully set up the web services as data sources have been able to get to the point where I get good data back. However, when I try to pull in certain fields, I get an error that says "Failed to retrieve data from the database/invalid argument provided". Here's the scenario:
The web services are structured as follows:Web Service 1 (Artist) has attributes of Artist Name and Date of Birth.Web Service 2 (CD) has attributes of CD Title and Release Date. Underneath each CD are songs, each of which have a Song Title and Artist Name.
I have defined both web services and defined a link between Artist.Artist Name and CD/Song.Artist Name. I am able to run a report with Song Title and Date of Birth that crosses web services. I am able to run another report with Song Title and CD Title that crosses the different levels in the second web service. However, if I add CD Title to the first report or Date of Birth to the second (both of which effectively force CR to employ the link between the two web services AND the CD/Song hierarchical structure in the second web service, I get the aforementioned error.
Any assistance understanding how multiple web services can be linked in this manner would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about your exact situation, but having similar problem with another application and have tracked down to security. Added user to group Domain Admin and it works fine. It appears to be accessing a subdirectory which it does not have permission to use and then times out and returns the "invalid....". Seems that once the query just over a certain size (and I'm not sure what triggers this) it needs to make use of temparory file disk, intead of ram.
I'm still trying to track down which temporary it's trying to uses - so if you have any ques.

As Calin Liviu mentioned, you do not have to manage connection objects. In fact, changes that you make to connection objects that the KCC creates automatically are ignored.
If the site is added to more than one site link, it might be an interim site between other sites that are added to this site link.
