Undo Sheet Deletion Bug (DIAdem 2014 SP1)

Hello,
I am experiencing a bug in the Report section of DIAdem.
I have ~80 sheets in a report. I delete the last one by right clicking and selecting "Delete". I confirm the deletion when prompted and the sheet goes away. I now press Ctrl-Z to undo the deletion. DIAdem appears to reload the whole set of 80 sheets and the sheet that I deleted is back. The undo function works.
The problem I have now is that I lose the mouse input for the report section and data portal. I am able to change the view to NAVIGATOR, VIEW, etc. with the mouse but I can't click on anything else including the pull-down menus. Keyboard navigation works as I can move around the report and edit Text blocks, etc. but the mouse input is completely gone.
I am using DIAdem 2014 SP1. Can anyone replicate this issue?

Could you export your DIAdem reports as a .TDR file so we can try it out on another system and see if the problem is reproducable?

Not sure this qualifies as a bug, but at least for me it is unexpected behavior. Take an array of NaNs, see snippet, you get an answer of 0 for min and max. I was expecting NaN. NaN values would be excluded from min and max comparisons (After all there value really is "Not A Number) in your snipette note that the min and max indices are " -1" meaning neither a min or max value exists in the array so you get the default value for the data type 0.
wiring an array into array min max and testing for index <0 is actually a fairly fast way to test for an all NaN array
Playing with the bug: all Floats exhibit the trouble INT and FXT types are not affected. (Floats with defined min max behaviors of cours- complex floats just don't play into the subject at all)

2D Axis Scaling Bug in Reports (DIAdem 2014)

Hello,
I've run across a rarther annoying bug in the 2D axis scaling for Reports. Here's how to recreate it:
Load a dataset that has x and y components.
Create a new layout in the Report tab
On Sheet1, add a Simple 2D Axis System.
Select x and y from the dataset and drag it into the 2D axis system.
Change the scaling mode from "Completely Automatic" to "Manual."
Change the "Begin" number to something close to the default DIAdem has set. Do not touch the "End" number. Click OK.
Add Sheet2 and repeat steps #3 thru #6 on Sheet2 with a different dataset.
Both plots look good right now...
Go to Sheet2 and double click on the chart to bring up the Curve and Axis Definition.
Don't touch anything...just click "Cancel."
After clicking Cancel, the scaling of the 2D axis completely changes. I believe what happens is that DIAdem takes whatever the previous "End" number was and uses that instead of the "End" number you want. Also, you don't actually have to go into the Curve and Axis Definition to create this bug. Press cancel while editing anything like text (for example)...bye bye plot.
Moreover, if I go back in and set the scaling mode back to Auto, click preview to refresh the plot, then switch the mode to Manual, everything looks good. However, if I copy Sheet2, the plot on Sheet2_Copy1 is messed up the same way as if I hit Cancel but Sheet2 is OK.
Worst of all, the undo function does not work on this unwanted scaling change.
This is a bug that makes plots in the Report files almost unusable. I hope this is re-producable on other systems so a patch can be issued. Let me know what you find.
The only workaround I've found is to click OK instead of Cancel, which isn't always preferred.

Ich teste gerade das DIAdem 2014 bevor es auf unsere Messrechner kommt.
da funktioniert hier eine simple Sache nicht:
Im DAC, nur zwei Bausteine:
1x Formel für Steuerleitungen (rotes f(x)) (Formel 1)
1x Speicher Baustein für Variablen (Merker 1)
Nun den Steuerleitungsausgang der Formel_1 mit dem Steuerleitungseingang vom Variablenspericher Merker_1 verbinden.
Klappt nicht.
Folge: "Es wurde kein automatischer Verbindungsweg geroutet"
Bug oder Fehler60?

in diesem Fall eindeutig Bug. Ich habe das gleiche Verhalten mit meiner DIAdem 2014 version. Der Bug wird unter der
Nummer #479351 - Der Versuch eine Steuerleitung an einen Block "Speichern in Variablen" anzuschließen endet in einer Fehlermeldung
gelistet.
Das gute an der Sache ist, dass dieser Bug schon gefixt sein sollte. In der aktuellsten Version von DIAdem 2014 SP1 sollte wieder alles wie gewohnt funktionieren.

Inconsistence at PO History - Entry Sheet deleted

Hello everyone!
I have an issue at my system with an entry sheet that has been deleted.
This Entry sheet was deleted and the material document with movement type = 102 was well created.
But the entry sheet is not showed now with total = 0 but with its original value.
Because of this, when we need to create a new Entry Sheet for the rest of the PO, an error message is raised like there were no more units to receive.
Do anyone know if it is a bug at the system, like a usual problem that can be solved with any OSS note?

so serch with 'service Entry Sheet deleted' along with your system version.

I have done exactly what you describe without an issue. Having said that I normally do the upgrade to SP1 with LP and then run the Config Wizard. Then go back and do the CU install and run the wizard again. As I said, I've done it in
one session, but would recommend doing the SP1 first.

Installation of labview 2014 SP1 (32 bit)

Trying to install labview and when I open labview it immediately crashes after about 5 seconds and a crash report pops out with the below message:

I installed the 2014 SP1 version of Labview using the DVD supplied by NI, on a HP Laptop with Windows 7. Toolkits were all that came with DVD:
VI Package Manager
NI Signal Express
Lab Express Toolkit
NI Device Driver
When installing the driver CD it didn't work. Rebooted the system after installation like asked. Speaking with at lease 4 of the engineers at NI, it was determined that it may have been a corrupted CD, so I used the internet version and still came across the same error message.
There is 2013 SP1 version of labview on the computer, I used the DVD for install and it was successful.

Error when compiling code for crio 9068 using LV 2014 SP1

I have a project that was mostly developed in LV 2013 SP1. I recently upgraded to LV 2014 SP1, and I can no longer compile the FPGA VI. At first, I received an error stating that the Xilinx Vivado 2013.4 compilation tool was not installed. I found this tool on your site, downloaded it, and installed it on my computer. When I try to compile now, the compilation advances to a certain point, seems to hang there for a while, and then returns an error stating that toplevel_gen_propImpl.xds cannot be accessed "because it is being used by another process." I have repeated this exact same scenario on both by desktop and my laptop. I've attached a PDF of the error I windows I have received.

I took a look at your file and researched a little bit about your issue, I have not been so lucky with the research since most of the doceuments are related to previous versions of the software, nevertheless it is also what makes me think that the file might be corrupted or some issue related to it so and I have found some tests that you could try:
1. Create a new FPGA file with your code on it and compile it again.
2. Turn off the firewall and compile again
3. Restart the compiler Services

I want to insert a hyperlink in new mail and found the icon is not
active at begin of editing.
Eventually I get the icon active after some clicks in the options but I
cant find any way, how to reproduce this.

Undo Message Delete command is sometimes present, sometimes not

I've noticed that sometimes the Undo Message Delete command is present after I delete a message
but other times it isn't - all that's there is Undo which is greyed out. Does anyone know the conditions
under which the Undo Message Delete command appears? I haven't found any consistent pattern.
I know the message can be manually moved back from the Trash but I've found that occasionally I've inadvertently
deleted a message without knowing which message it is which makes it rather hard to find in the Trash.

result : The window "Class Browser Search" opens ----> do nothing ... just "Cancel"
back to the window Class Browser ...
Class Browser / Object library ----> now select "DAQmx"
result : in the window Class Browser : Objet library = DAQmx
Class = DAQmx buffer
don't touch anything else (!)
and now clic "Search" ... LV CRASH

When you meet your colleagues, could you ask them, of course when they have time, to create this number.
This will make me happy, and this would be a small reward for this bug report.

No Undo on Delete!

I just thought I was deleting about 25 images from a folder that I thought I had filtered down to reject flags and then found I actually deleted the entire database of 565 or images. I immediately tried escape but that did nothing. I took no other action and found the Undo command to be greyed out!
Is it true that undo will not work for a delete!
I'm beside myself, I was able to restore the images from the trash and I have a backup, but several hours of work seperating these images by class and car number is now gone? Is there any way to get back what I had?
I've never had a program that could not undo a delete like this.
If I could figure out how to close the database and not save it, I could gain back a couple of hours of work? I haven't done anything other than re-import the images and of course all the keywords I used to sort with are gone.

The 4 times I'm referring to were over the course of the last couple of days. It was at least 4 times that I opened and closed lightroom during that period. Everytime, I had it do the backup, into the default backups folder created under my main image folder.
The 3 times I was referring to was right at that time, I opened and closed 3 times and during none of those times did it ask about doing a backup, I don't know why. I was trying to point out to Mr. Personality that Lightroom does NOT work as he thinks it does all the time, because it should have been asking about the backup, I immediately checked the preferences on each of those three times and it was set for backup upon opening.
By the way, is there a way, while you have LR open to tell it to save the database right then?
Regarding the delete:
I just finished my last grouping of images in this database. I make a seperate database for each job as I'm not a stock shooter, I don't need one huge database of all my images. (Plus I have major trust issues right now). I was using the keyword panel to organize the images. I filtered using the rejected flag filter icon so I only saw the rejects. (BTW, I learned about the quirk you are talking about when I thought I had deleted images but found them all still in my galleries after I posted online had to redo all of them for an event so yes I'm all to familiar with that. A customer actually ordered one and I found it should have been culled when I pulled it up to fill the order, thank you LR, that made me look real good.)
I then clicked on the folder panel so that I could delete them, but what I didn't realize is that doing so also turned the reject flag filter button back off. Not realizing that it would do that, I hit the delete key and didn't read as I had no reason to think I needed to, but as soon as I clicked okay, I realized there were 595 images selected instead of the 25 or so I really wanted to delete. I thought I was okay because I could just undo the delete. Well LR being the speed demon it is, it took about 20 minutes to delete the images, then I checked the undo and it was greyed out.
I totally accept the fact that I should have noticed, I reject the fact that I was too stupid to notice and frankly had no reason to believe the filter would be turned off just by switching panels. Then of course I started to restore from the backup and redo what I had done since the last backup and then I find no backup.
I've handled this just like other galleries I've done and they all have the back up. I have searched extensively through my system and there is no backup file for this catalog, anywhere.
My first issue was that you can't undo a delete, based on other software out there that is a basic thing that I think should be there. I also don't understand why the escape won't stop an action as every adobe product I've ever used does.
My second is why on earth would it turn the filter off because I changed, not even panels, but levels in the same panel? What reason would that be? Particularly if I HAVE to go to the folder heading to actually be able to delete something, that's all the more reason everything should stay as is.
It did by the way, leave all the keywords behind, just with a 0 quantity. Upon re-import it looked like it may re-assign them but it didn't.
I redid everything and checked this time, there is a backup.
Maybe I do have a chip on my shoulder, I've been forced to switch to lightroom because they squashed the best program out there for my workflow, I know I can still use it but once I buy my next camera, RSP will be useless, so I am somewhat bitter about this whole thing. Throw in the horrible speed issues and now this, hours of work down the drain, I am not happy, I just didn't expect to have a Schewe Soap Opera to deal with when I voiced my issues.
Anyway I apologize to everyone having to read most of this for letting him bait me into his little game and hopefully this will turn into something at least some of us can learn from. Sorry so long, just trying to get it all out there.

Undo Delete after it says "cannot undo this delete."

How is this done for an audio file recorded and subsequently deleted in Logic? OS X Snow Leopard iMac, Logic 8, I deleted the wrong audio track (ouch) and it said "Cannot Undo this delete." Well, I need to undo this darned delete! Where is the file I deleted??? It must be on the drive somewhere.
How to recover it? Haven't closed this same session within the application yet.

If the deleted file was recorded since the opening of the project, it is erased from the drive. A dialog warned you about this.
If the recording took place before the current session, it's still in the Audio Bin.
In general, warnings about deletion, erasure and other non-trivial file management stuff are better taken seriously. If it says 'cannot undo this delete', this usually means it cannot undo this delete.
