Unexpected end of archive when extracting SAPNW2004sABAPTrail_part

Hi,
Following are the the two files I downloaded for Webdynpro ABAP.
1. SAPNW2004sABAPTrail_part1
2. SAPNW2004sABAPTrail_part2
When extracting the part 1 file I get the following warning..
D:\WebDynpro\ABAP\SAPNW2004sABAPTrail_part1.rar: Unexpected end of archive
D:\WebDynpro\ABAP\SAPNW2004sABAPTrail_part2.rar: Unexpected end of archive
Please guide me to get rid of this very step 1...
Thanks,
Smita

Hi,
Perhaps you should try to download the files again.
Kind regards,
Klaus

  • Unexpected end of file when starting on WinNT 4.0

Hi folks, I have an 8.1.7 EE Installation on a notebook that works just fine as long as the notebook is connected to the network. However, when it is not connected to the network, I cannot even start my instance using svrmgrl. Starting svrmgrl just gives me an "unexpected EOF on communication channel". Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance
    Thomas

I believe the only reason it is displaying in LR is because I had already generated a 1:1 preview of it before I did the editing that I think created the issue.  I have tried every export option I know in LR, and all produce the same error
    Thanks though.

  • Installing 9i On Windows 2003: Unexpected end of archieve

Hi, I'm new to Oracle. Trying to install Oracle 9i on Windows 2003 Enterprise, but is having some troubles. Here's what I did:
QUESTION 1 unpacking the zip files:
step 1. downloaded Oracle9i 9.2.0.1.0 Database Release 2 Enterprise Standard Personal Edition for Windows NT 2000 XP. THere're three zip files:
    92010NT_Disk1.zip
    92010NT_Disk2.zip
    92010NT_Disk3.zip
step 2. I'm using WINRAR to unpack these zip files one by one - but always get this error message: "unexpected end of archive"
    QUESTION 2:
I was told that I must install:
"Oracle9i 9.2.0.1.0 Database Release 2 Enterprise Standard Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP"
on my windows 2003 box before I can install:
    "Oracle9i 9.2.0.3.0 for 32bit Windows 2003 Enterprise Server"
Is this correct? This is what I'm trying to do now, but I'm stuck at the unpacking stage! Help!

Sounds like your network connection is having issues. You may want to try downloading a resumable FTP client-- Oracle support has suggested GetRight http://www.getRight.com in the past.

  • Unexpected end of file message in Appleworks 6.2.9

I have an iMac that is getting the message unexpected end of file when I try to open Appleworks files. The user seems to be having alot of problems with Appleworks and I guess is closing out of Appleworks or it is crashing. Then when she tries to open the file she was working on, she gets the unexpected end of file message and the file will never open. I've tried running the file through the Appleworks Database Repair Utility, but it doesn't make any difference. This has happened to numerous different files, although if you create a new file the program still works. Has anyone come across this on OS 10.4.11? I've already reloaded her computer from scratch and 6.2.9 version of Appleworks seems to be the latest. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi West Harrison
    Welcome to AppleWorks forum discussions.
The answer to your question found using the Search feature in this forum indicate something other than AppleWorks, your OS perhaps.
Being as you're relatively new to AppleWorks discussions please accept my suggestion to do the following; Prior to posting a question use this forum Search feature, here's how:
    1. In the upper right of Discussions click in Search type in your request, "Unexpected end of file" press Return
    2. Change Restrict by Category or Forum: to AppleWorks Fourm
    3. Change Restrict by Date Range: to All
    4. Click search; you'll receive many hits. You'll find your question has been asked numerous times, and, endusers have provided the similar answers as well.
Many questions have been asked, their answers will provide direct solutions, tips, or workarounds.
After using Search, and the AppleWorks help file if you cannot find your question or an appropriate answer to your question then by all means ask your question. Truly we'll be pleased to assist you.
These Discussions are user helping user, not Apple employees answering the question. Questions will be answered when a user such as yourself finds time, desires to, knows the answer along with the time to respond.
Again, welcome to AppleWorks Discussions, have fun here.
    Sincerely,

  • 9300i - unexpected end of file

    Hi
My new Nokia 9300i comes up with the message "System - unexpected end of file" when doing some control panel functions (mainly wap and email access). If I remove the battery it goes away but then a day or two later will randomly come back. Any clues?

System.getProperties().put("proxySet", "true");You'll have to show what else you get from the server, but the above line does nothing.

  • What to do when Photoshop says could not import clipboard because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered

I have PC, with adobe Photoshop CC 2014 and windows 8. Every time I open Photoshop it says: could not import the clipboard because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered. If I exit the message I still cannot create files or open anything... any suggestions?

When you load Action and when you create new actions they are saved into you Photoshop Preferences into Actions Palette.psp.  This File is read when you start Photoshop.
Apple and Microsoft both like to hide important files on users.  Windows search and Apple finder will not find and show hidden files unless you change Mac and Windows setting.  I you getting the error when you start Photoshop there is a shortcut to reset preferences. Hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop you should be prompted to for an OK to delete preferences.
If this keeps happening perhaps you have a bad spot on your disk.  Loaded actions are saved into that file so they should show up in the Actions Palette when Photoshop Start Up and read that file during start up. Photoshop Writes that file when you load action sets, when you record and edit actions and most likly also when you close down Photoshop.

  • CS5: "Unexpected end-of-file encountered" when opening a file [was:HELP!]

I'm trying to open an art file I've been working on for the past week in Photoshop CS5 Extended, and I'm getting a message that my request cannot be complete because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.  I have no idea what to do.  I've been a Photoshop user for 14 years, and have never seen a message like this before.

Hi Curt...I'm new here, so I'll get the hang of it.  Thank you for your quick response.  I'm using the Mac OS X version 10.6.8  I'm a digital artist and was working on a psd file.  I use a wacom tablet and all of a sudden everything stopped responding.  I had to force quit Photoshop and open again.  That's when the window telling me an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.  So much work has gone into this piece of artwork, so needless to say, I'm beyond frustrated.  I had saved this work along the way just so I wouldn't lose it, but now this unexpected twist.  I will try what you suggested to see if it will help.
    Again THANK YOU!

Hi, I am trying to install the free student version of CS6 Photoshop on Windows 8. I have downloaded the files twice, and get the same message. Thanks for helping!

  • Having error when opening psd file. "could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered". Im using a mac air, CS5.1

"could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file encountered".

Probably not good news I'm afraid. Hopefully you use Time Machine to keep regular backups of your work?
Have you tried to open the file in Graphic Converter (shareware application)?
I find file corruption practically non-existant these days. I would suggest that you maintain your machine. This can be done with Onyx http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/onyx.html. Run all the tasks in the "automation" section of this application.
If you can do a drive check - checking your hard drive for physical issues might also be a good idea.

  • Since upgrading to Lion, iDVD does an unexpected end when I click the burn icon ... ?

I'm trying to burn an iDVD project to a DVD-R disk and each time I click the Burn icon, iDVD goes into an unexpected end and closes.  I burned this project numerous times before upgrading to Lion, with no issues.  Anyone have any ideas on a solution?  I'm running iDVD version 7.1.2 on a MacBook Pro

Thanks again but I have no peripheral devices connected. It's very annoying whenever I close the lid the logo stays lit and the computer does not go to sleep (light on front stays solid white). Each time it happens I have to open and close the lid 3-4 times before it finally goes to sleep. It's as if the computer gets hung up trying to go to sleep.

The sp level we are trying to import is 7.00 SP14.
We found some posts which said that the file may be corrupted. So we downloaded a couple of times from the service market place and tried. But still the same error.
The following is the file that we downloaded from SMP:
      SAPBUILDT14_0-10003479.SCA   SP14 for DI BUILD TOOL 7.00
Could anyone tell us what the problem could be?

    Hi Purush,
We used the same files as the ones we had used in the "Inbox" folder and copied them to the "archives" folder as well. These files we downloaded from the SAP service Marketplace. I am sure you would be aware of the right location in SMP for your files.
However, you could also do one more thing. Make sure that you delete all the files similar to the ones that are giving an error in the "Archives" folder. I mean, if there is more than one version of the file that is giving the error, delete all these files from the archives folder. Then, do a check-in and an import again. This will copy the right version of the file to the archives folder automatically. This way, you won't have to copy paste the files manually to the archives folder.
To explain this in more detail... here is the response I got from SAP regarding this issue:
The "archives" folder is normally only used internally by the CMS to store a backup copy of the imported files.
After you place a file in the "inbox" and check it in, CMS first extracts the SCA name, vendor and version and checks if it is already contained in the archive. If the file is new, it is copied from "inbox" to the "archives" folder. Already existing files are not copied. Later, during import, the import file is read from the "archives" folder. In your case I assume that the fixed SCA file had the same version, so just by comparing the SCA name, vendor and version, the CMS did not realize that it has to update the file in "archives".
Usually you don't have to care about the "archives" folder.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Reena

    Hi,
Don't know which of this factors solved the problem:
    1. Error server:
    AIX 5.2
jdk 1.3.17 (minimum from docu: 1.3.11)
    $ORACLE_HOME wasn't in the begining of $PATH
    2. success server:
    AIX 5.3
    jdk 1.4.02
$ORACLE_HOME is now in the begining of $PATH
