    hi,
    I fixed it.
    The file /etc/crypttab was corrupted, it contained some binary crap. I emptied it (echo "" > /etc/crypttab )
    And now the error is gone.
    I still have some other problems, ldconfig  emits an error message:
    [hardik@moonlight: ~ ]$ sudo ldconfig
    ldconfig: ÓòÙ»³Ó¸FSóÄÍy£=ÅZ੯õ4Õjp±ßáktþY ÅçænùÖl]KCܸ5+NVÁsê)<¤ is not a known library type

  • [solved] Unexpected EOF error while reading

    Hi
    I created a bootable jumpstart DVD for x86, and erverything works up to the extract of the flash archive.
    During the extract, I receive this error:
    Extracted 2046.00 MB ( 92% of 2208.35 MB archive)
    Extracted 2047.00 MB ( 92% of 2208.35 MB archive)
    ERROR: Unexpected EOF error while reading (/cdrom/latest_archive)
    ERROR: Could not extract Flash archive
    ERROR: Flash installation failed
    Solaris installation program exited.
    The size of the archive on the DVD is ok.
    Any Idea?

    I solved it like this:
    - added the "-I" option to flar when the archive get created.
    - added the "-x /usr" option to flar to skip the /usr filesystem.
    - created and compressed a fs dump of /usr which I placed on the dvd.
    - added the ufsrestore of /usr to my jumpstart finish script.
    With this I got files smaller than 2gb on my isofs.

  • Making Presets - After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {unexpected match name in group} (29 :: 0)

    I am attempting at making a preset for myself, because I want to speed up the time it takes to make and add effects to layers.
    I began by using an online generator to generate my preset shell (the outline of the preset). I then took the code it gave me, and
    pasted it into my PresetEffects.xml (C:\Program Files\Adobe\After Effects CC 2014\Support Files\PresetEffects.xml) and when I went
    into After effects CC, I opened up the script editor (File>Scripts>Open Script Editor), then I pasted my import java code:
    app.project.activeItem.layer(1).effect.addProperty("Audio_Waveform_Wheel");
    When I press the "Run" button, something happens, then on my after effects a pop up message comes up saying:
    After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {unexpected match name in group} (29 :: 0)
    When I press OK, it just opens up again. My software also looks a little messed up. What is going on?
    How do I fix this issue?

    The After Effects CC 2014.1.1 (13.1.1) update fixes several bugs, including this one. Let us know how it's working for you once you've installed the update.

    Hi Ricky,
              I've posted this same bug a while back as well, and only found the solution today; this answer may
              pertain to your problem as well.
              Turns out Apache-WL plugin creates a /tmp/_wl_proxy directory as a buffer flush for POSTs,
              especially any post over 64k. Our dev environment consists of multiple developers with multiple
              instances on Solaris, so whoever logs in and triggers the plugin first will generate this directory
              with their permission, and subsequently all other developer's instance will not be allowed to write
              to this directory. Note this can also happen on staging or prod environment if different users are
              used to start the same server. Our solution is to change the permission of this directory to
              write-for-all, and the problem disappears; unfortunately Apache Plugin may recreate this directory
              after bouncing, so admin has to remain vigilent.
              Perhaps BEA should allow us to change the location of this temp directory.

    How to get rid of this error.

    1. Handle this exception - not recommended since you will be creating an exception handling overhead unnecessarily.
    2. Check for EOF using available() method in InputStream. It returns 0 if there are no bytes to read.

    Where you able to resolve this issue.. I'm having similar problem with no pointers where to look for...

  • Oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XMLParseException:Unexpected EOF.

    I have created a custom DataTemplate from comverting a RDF to XML template. Also created the custom RTF template.
    When I run the custom request it runs for for more than 3 hrs and then errors out.When I look at the OPP log file it has this error. Cant figure out what is causing this issue.
    Also when i submit the concurrent program request the completion text field value has value called
    "Input value not long enough for date format".

  • After Effects Error: Tracker_Register: Missing Suite ( 1 :: 0 )

    Product: AE CS4
    Version: 9.0
    OS: OS X 10.5.7
    One day this error just sprung up on me, after having worked fine for quite a while. Strangely, I have scoured the internet and found no mention of this specific error. The error happens upon launching After Effects and after clicking OK, the application shuts down. It does not ever reach the user interface. The loading splash screen comes up and then the errors come up shortly after.
    The two error messages come up one after the other and read in this order:
    "After Effects error: Tracker_Register: missing suite. ( 1 :: 0 )"
    "After Effects can't continue: Failed to register built-in motion tracker."
    I have attempted to reinstall After Effects entirely, even going as far as to wipe all the associated files that are left behind after an uninstall.
    I will attempt to update AE and will report back the progress on that.
    UPDATE
    Updated AE to 9.0.2
    There are now three errors, including the above two. The third error reads: "After Effects can't continue: unexpected failure during application startup"

    Okay, let's do this one step at a time. Removing components without proper uninstall procedures can indeed be dangerous, but I don't think that's the issue here. If the program reports an entire suite missing (which is merely another way of saying that some pieces of its core code have gone anywhere but here), one of the system libraries is not initializing. This is extremely rare on Macs, so this is even more puzzling. As a first step, I would definitely run a tool like OnyX or Apple's own Repair Permissions and disk health utility to check disk integrity. The thing is, the exact spot on the drive could be damaged and it's in the nature of OSX to not waste space, so it will always try to place files in the same physical spot, if they have the same name and similar properties to the predecessor and that region may actualyl have problems. Therefore updating AE might not solve the matter. Second, check the language settings on the files in your AE directory using right-click - Information. This also works with multiple files selected. If they have different settings, you will get a warning and may need to select them separately. On the info panel, have a look at the language options. If the language in which you run AE is not enabled or you have multiple instances of the same language checked (OSX again stores this per file redundantly), disable/ enable the check marks until everything seems right. While you are on the panel, also have a look at the compatibility infdo (it should refer to intel compatibility) and of course the user permission settings. All users must be at least able to read the files. From inside AE, check, whether you are using the "accelerate panels" option in the prefs. Since tracking is a layer window feature, it may cause issues, if there is something not right with your graphics card settings. Speaking of which, check your monitor settings if everything is right. As a last thing, definitely check your Quicktime install. I'm not aware of any definite problems, but QT is always a good candidate for causing issues of any kind.

  • There was an unexpected end of file error

    I am currently using DNG Converter 8.1 and converting NEF files from a Nikon D600.
    Occacionally I get an error message on some of the files.
    "The was an unexpected end of file error"  It only happens on some of the ffiles but I can not figure out what is wrong or how to fix the problem.

    plasticAnimal wrote:
    my solution to the problem was to re-copy the problem files from the card.
    Consider checking your disk drive, or just getting a new one.
    If known good (on disk) files go bad, problem is usually disk (or ram).
    If files known to be good on card, are bad after transfer, problem is usually with the transfer hardware.
    If files bad on card, problem is usually camera or card, but may be reader...
    Problem is not likely due to DNG Converter software (nor OS) - sorry Jeff if not worded strongly enough for you.

  • After Effects error: strange situation [0/-939524096]  ( 26 ::139 ) help!

    I am editing footage from a Nikon D7000 in Premiere. I select all and replace with after effects composition. Aftere effects opens and gives this error message. I am on a windows based machine.

    Thanks for you responses. This is a short sequence with about 20 clips. I have in the past used this workflow successfully on short sequences. I like to assemble in pp and then apply colour correction/colour grading, and some sharpening in after effects. This problem has occured since I went from AE 5.5 to AE creative cloud. It was my intention to contrast and colour correct each individual clip as needed, then using an adjustment layer over the entire sequence to apply a colour grading. As an enthusiastic beginner, If there is a better way to accomplish this Id love to hear it.

    Try deleting the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder. Then launch iPhoto.
    Do you Twango?
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Tar: Unexpected EOF in archive for Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL

    Hi All,
    System = Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (64 bit)
    I downloaded Oracle EBS Vision instance from Oracle eDelivery.
    File Name = Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ova.00
    File Type = Archive
    There are 14 others files like the same and they have been successfully extracted. This is the first file out of the 15 total files.
    I am unable to extract the above file.
    Steps Performed
    1. Initially, I tried to extract directly. I got the error
    Could not open "Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ova.00"
    Archive Type not supported
    2. Then I renamed the file to "Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ova.00.tar" and tried to do the following
    $ tar xvf Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ova.00.tar
    Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ovf
    Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL-disk1.vmdk
    tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
    tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
    tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
    Now the above two downloaded files Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ovf and Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL-disk1.vmdk are of unknown file type.
    Ideally I should have got a file = Oracle-E-Business-Suite-12.2.3-VISION-INSTALL.ova.00 (File Type = Program) like all other 14 files and as per the installation steps that I see in the videos for the installation.
    Can anyone help me on this?
    Thanks,
    Niladri

    System = Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (64 bit)
    This is not a certified OS, please see (Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.2) for Linux x86-64 (Doc ID 1330701.1)) for the list of supported Linux OS.

    This indicates that the files are corrupted and you will need to re-download the files again.
    Thanks,
