Unexpected error when trying to reinstall iCloud panel in my pc

Apple suggested I uninstall my iCloud control panel in my PC to resolve an earlier problem with my photos not syncing on my I devices and the cloud. Now the I devices work fine but I cannot install the control panel on my PC because it keeps failing. It tries to install and download my calendars and fails with an unexpected error message. Apple support hasn't been able to help. We have uninstalled and tried it several times.

Mobile Me is not installed and had been checked numerous times by the Apple Support team members I spoke with. I resolved the issue but uninstalling iCloud panel. Restarting. Downloading and reinstalled the icloud panel and then restarting again. Not sure why it worked but it did. Thanks for the help.

Please also try this setting: Windows start menu or Control Panel > '''Devices and Printers''', right-click the printer > '''Printer properties''' > '''Advanced''', and select '''Start printing after the last page is spooled'''. In this case you can also close Firefox after spooling is over (usually much faster than direct printing), and printing will continue.
Also as a general case, if you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) installed, you can try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and its related processes/files in all the different configuration modules/areas of the security software like process monitoring, sub/spawned process control, virtualization, HIPS etc., in addition to the security software's main configuration panel. Instead create new fully allowed/trusted rules for Firefox + its related processes in all the different modules/panels - a genuine/original Firefox installer as well as all the installed EXEs (Application) and DLLs (Application extension) are digitally signed by Mozilla Corporation (right-click > Properties > Digital Signatures). Even otherwise, some security software may also ask again when Firefox and/or its sub processes are started, and you may be able to allow/trust at that time. After activatin iCloud, my dotMac account wouldn't retrieve mail anymore. It kept saying that my username or password were not good. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't restore the service.
Here's how I got it working again.
Apparently my 6 letter password is no longer acceptable. You need to update it to an 8 letter password that includes numbers and capital letters.
So I went to https://iforgot.apple.com and asked to reset my password.
Because I could still get my emails logging into iCloud with Safari, I responded to Apple's email, and created a stronger password.
Than I updated the passwords on my computer's Mail program, iPhone, and iPad (and of course everything else, iTunes, etc.).
That was it!
Everything works as normal again, I even was finally able to synchronize calendars over different computers again.
Try it out, it could be your issue as well.

Error when trying to reinstall MBAM with SCCM

We have SCCM 2012 R2 installed and I installed MBAM 2.0 SP1 with all the components on the same server. Well that was a mistake as the website for MBAM took over and SCCM communication with all the clients was broken. So I found a TechNet article
that said I should only install the SCCM Integration Feature of MBAM and then install the other components on another VM. I then proceeded to uninstall all the MBAM components and SCCM started working properly again. I then went to reinstall just
the SCCM integration feature of MBAM and I got the error that SCCM Objects already installed. The resolution says "One or more components of the MBAM System Center Configuration Manager Objects have
already been installed. If the objects were previously installed then they were intentionally not removed. Please refer to the System Center Configuration Manager documentation on how to properly remove the installed MBAM System Center Configuration

I went to that link and did the removal steps and I still get the error when trying to reinstall it. Why am I still getting the error message?

Unexpected error when trying to sign in to sync

Version 32.0.3 installed. I've been getting a message that Firefox unable to sync for the last **days So when i tried to log out of sync and log back in. I get an error "unexpected error" when i try to log in. So i tried to create a new account and get the same issue from the log in page. Have looked at everything listed on troubleshooting sync page Still the same issue.

That usually means something has gone wrong. If you have already tried to sign out and back in in accounts.firefox.com please provide the following troubleshooting information for further investigation:
* How do I turn on sync logs:
# Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
# Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
# Logs and error messages will be located here
Please also use pastebin.mozilla.org for sharring any errors that relate to this issue.

Unspecified error when trying to access Control Panel

I am currently setting up Remote Desktop Services on Server 2012 and I have enabled the policy
"Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings".
When a user clicks on the Control Panel icon, or anything else that points to Control Panel (Screen Resolution, Personalize) they get the normal error of
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrcitions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" which is fine and is expected, but they then get the error,
"Unspecified error".
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you enabled the option to display "Personalization" in Group Policy?
This is because "Personalization" option is linked to Control Panel, so if you prohibit access to control panel, and right click on the desktop select "Personalize", it results in the "Unspecified Error".

Getting: Unexpected Error when trying to upload files with my post!

i tried today to post a reply to someone`s message t the forums but when i tried to attach 2 .php files i get unexpected error message and prevented me from posting the reply.
but when i delete or reloaded the page, i shows me an error message again, but the reply was posted without letting me know!
hope you can find a quick fix for that!

Did you really mean .php files? I am not sure if you can actually post a .php file. I suspect you will have to either post a link to where the .php files are located or simply post the contents of the .php file into the reply. OR zip the file and attach the .zip file.

Problem with pacman.. Unexpected error when trying to sync or download

Hi,
Im getting unexpected error for all steps when im trying to do pacman -Sy same thing for downloading a package, it find it then prompts me for confirmation and then it says errer: failed to commiut trnasaction (unexpected error). errors occured, no packages were upgraded.
I upgraded all my packages yesterday.. now it doesnt work anymore. Any way to check the logs of this ?

Unexpected error when trying to reset Firefox sync

Hello,
I am trying to reset my password for Firefox sync with no success. When i enter my email address and hit "next" i get "Unexpected error". I don't want to create a new account with a different email address.

Random users receive an unexpected error when trying to access SharePoint 2010 farm.

Over the past few months we had occasions where established users trying to connect to my production SharePoint 2010 farm receive a correlation error page when trying to access the farm. I have two WFEs load balanced and the errors show up on either so it
doesn't happen on just on or the other. Specifically today it was three users in one office out of about 15 that were affected the rest were able to access the farm without any problems and there were no other reports from other offices. Each time the
user can eventually get in without any outside intervention it just seems to fix itself after a few hours. Each time it happens I search the logs for the CorrelationID(s) and everytime I see the same set of errors in the ULS logs. I also go check the Windows
Security logs to make sure they connected to the server okay. I've confirmed that the Web App's PortalSuperUserAccount and PortalSuperReaderAccount are both set correctly. Just looking to see if anyone has experienced this and figured what was happening and
how to fix it.

Keep getting unexpected error when trying to install 10.7.2

I have Lion 10.7.1 right now and every time I try to update to 10.7.2 it fails. Just says an unexpected error occured and I have to restart. It doesn't say what the error is. I even tried to update using a direct link and update using it but it still failed to install. I have no idea what is going on. I would really appreciate any help.

"Unexpected Error" when trying to set up time machine.

I only really want to use it as an external HD, but every time I try to set up to connect to my wifi it says "unexpected error" try again later. When I press the reset button, airport utility can recognize it. Then I try to set it up as extending or connecting to a current wifi connection. The process seems to be going fine until the very end and then airport utility says "unexpected error." Then, it no longer recognizes the time capsule. Help please.

You cannot extend wireless if the other router is not an apple.
If you join to the existing wireless, ethernet is cut off when it sets.. are you using ethernet or wireless to do the setup?
The best way to setup the TC even for just using as external hd is to plug it into the main router by ethernet.. and bridge the TC.
The other method is to plug it by ethernet directly to the computer but use static IP addressing.
