Unexpected problem; We rrecently upgraded to version 3. Export of multiple tracks in a multitrack session makes each file length same as longest file. Didn't do that in Vers 2 of soundtrack

Hmm... Ok, so I took that project and tried importing it to a new project, still with no luck. Then I tried taking that project and creating a new timeline by dragging one of the stills to the new item icon so that I'd get whatever PrPro decided was the best timeline, and still no luck. Then I tried creating a new project and importing different footage and it worked. Tells me perhaps there's something wrong with the stills? I know not to use overly-large stills in a project, but they're all around 4k resolution or smaller... so surely that's not too big, right? 412 stills total 1.5GB which means an average of about 2.5 MB per file... certainly not too big. I even had a couple video clips in the timeline that were shot with a point-and-shoot still camera, and I tried taking those out just in case it was something in those, and still no success.
So, ultimately this project got exported without CUDA, and I'm okay... but I also am wondering what caused the problem? I do a fair amount with stills (not a lot, but enough) and I need it to work... do I just go on with life, assuming that it was some weird fluke? Or do I try a complete wipe and reinstall of OS and Programs?
Oh, one other tidbit... whenever PrPro crashed and closed, the application itself wouldn't close. I have to go into the program manager and force quit it...
Thoughts? Recommendations?

Is there anyway to export a mix in soundtrack to multiple tracks for each track in soundtrack? So if I made one track roomtone, then another dialogue can I make soundtrack export those seperately? Thanks

I will try that, but maybe you can help me in the overall workflow I am doing. I got all the scenes edited in FCP and each one is it's own sequence. I wanted to do coloring and audio to each sequence separately. The problem is I want to mix the movie's audio in 5.1 but when I export an AC3 file of the 5.1 mix I cannot import it back into FCP. I was planning to do all the audio import it into FCP and when all the scenes are done put all the small sequences into one sequence and export that back to Soundtrack to mix to 5.1. Would that be my best bet? Or is there an easier way? Thanks

The problem i have when i am trying to update a priviliges for my Apex users. The problem apears when i upgrade from version 3.0 to 3.1. Nothing changed, data are the same, also application.
i think that there is a problem inside the array g_f03(i).
can somebody help me please?

Ok, i have a page that give a priviliges for users that use APEX. priviliges like power user, full user. atd... The problem happened when i am trying to chages the priviliges. i have all needed grants for updating.
The error is "Error You try to grant not existing user.". but the user exist inside my table usr_users, also inside Apex table flows_030100.wwv_flow_fnd_user.
When i used version 3.0, everything was ok. this happed after upgrade.

E75 problems after upgrade to version: 201.12.01.

I've noticed the following problems after the phone software upgrade to version: 201.12.01.
During the call, when I in move, for example, in car, and the phone switches between different base stations, the conversation breaks.
When I have poor network coverage, where the phone all the time looking for better coverage, in general conversation is impossible. After few words screen appears, "connection error".

After update to 201.12.01 version I have problems with Mail for Exchange. It can't download email message from Exchange 2003! We don't want to upgrade on Exchange 2007 version!
Error message is: "Security Policy that enables downloading HTML messages is disabled" (mayby sorry for wrong translate from Russian)

I recently upgraded to 4.0 and it does not recognise my norton identity safe. I was told by norton that it would be another month before ff 4.0 would recognise my identity safe

I recently upgraded to FF4.0. after I upgraded I found out that 4.0 dose not recognize my Norton Identity tool bar, so I can't use my Norton identity safe, which I was able to use in FF3.6. I spoke to Norton and they told me it would be at least a month more before FF4.0 would recognize my Norton tool bar. How can I go back to FF3.6?

Problems with upgrading edu version

I thought I'd check to see if anyone else is having problems upgrading to CS5.5 from an origianl EDU purchase. This happened both on a Creative Suite Master Collection upgrade and a Flash Builder Premium upgrade. On the first SN screen, I input the new SN. On the second, it said SN (the old version) does not qualify for an upgrade version. For Flash Builder, I spent about 1/2 hour on the chat window and they finally did the challenge code to get me in and registered. But when it happened with CS5.5 Master Collection, I didn't have the patience to go through that again. Anytime I want to transfer to a different machine or if I want to install on a second machine, I have to go through customer service, find the challenge code on my machine, etc. The service rep said it should work fine but it's not and I'm returning my three purchases (yep, one service rep was so sure it would work he strongly suggested I buy another copy and then return the first one - return an electronic download, sure, I can do that) and hoping this becomes an apparent problem that they fix with the setup authentication.
Has anyone else had this happen? (Yes, they're all legally bought programs)
Does anyone have a workaround or suggestion regarding how to solve the problem?

Bob, you're not going to believe this but I must confess. As I was online with support, he had me try to reinstall 5.5 so I could tell him the exact error message I was getting. Well, I suddenly realized that there were more options as to which software I was trying to upgrade and that I had chosen the wrong one. Once I put in the correct software selection it installed. Now, however, there are several error messages that came up at the end of the installation. So I have to deal with that now. I briefly ran Premiere just to see if it would work and it did but I am sure there are functions that will not work until fixed. What next. The good news is that the serial number problem is over, my bad.

I faced with a problem. I have an index page with menu. Regions are included in Tab’s. A command “Browse Subject” create a Tab with Region in PanelTab component. I display information using a Tree and a Table components. Table shows records with icons “paper” and “folder” clicking on the “folder” synchronize the tree, programmatically expand the appropriate node and select it, then table shows other records which are children of the selected node. After upgrade this function doesn’t work and I can’ understand why.

HTMLDB does not work after upgrade to v2.0
all scripts executed without error but i see error on htmldb LOGIN page after Oracle HTTP server restarted

Recently upgraded to version 36.0.1 and now the 'email link' feature on the toolbar doesn't work, it only opens google chrome.

before upgrading i had placed the email link on the tool bar using the customize option. it worked flawlessly opening my gmail account etc.

Hi i recently upgrade my mac mini from os tiger to snow leopard (from 10.4 to 10.6) the thing is that i upgraded so i can use my iphone 5 with my mac,guess what ,is not working can anybody help me out?

My iPhone 4S was stolen recently. Is there a way I can track the phone other than via Find my iPhone? I believe that whoever has it has already restored the phone, so it's no longer available to me.

Also, is there a way to recover the last known location of the phone, since it deletes the last known location after 24 hours of no activity?

Unfortunately without find my phone being active, you cannot track, locate, lock or wipe the phone any longer.

Well, think about it. This is a Lightroom forum. We are here to answer questions about Lightroom and how to solve problems in Lightroom. Your permissions issue is an operating system issue, not a Lightroom issue. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. But there are plenty of Internet resources that will answer that question.
I just went to Google and typed in "change disk permissions", and there are links for the Mac as well as for Windows listed. There's no sense in me rewriting instructions that are already available.

IPhoto video problems when upgraded to Lion

Hi,
I just recently upgraded my MacBook Air (10.7.3) to Lion and I now have trouble with some of the movies that were in my iPhoto library, they can no longer be opened and I get the error message of "A necessary data referrence could not be resolved." The file info indicates that it is a movie mpg file, but it just won't open or play.
Does anyone know what I need to do to "recover" the mpg files so they can play in iPhoto?

Unfortunately it did not solve the problem. It should be the file where the jgp files are but not the movie. In iPhoto, the file info show it as a video with a size of 10.2 MB, but it will not play. I can not find this file anywhere other than as a jpg. It is almost as if when I upgraded, the mpg files were converted to jpg but still referrencing in iPhoto as mpg. Any other suggestions?

Upgrade ESS Version

We upgraded Portal EP 7.0 SP 9 to EP 7.0 SP 17. We have ESS 600 Patch 9 and Basis Planning to upgrade ESS 600 Patch 14. I need to know, Basis don't want to upgrade ECC version 6.0 Patch 5. Will it work on same ECC 6.0 Patch 15 Version?

Exporting multiple tracks to EDL

I'm having problems exporting multiple tracks to an EDL.
The actual project file has come from somewhere else, so I have no idea what could have been set up to make it not work.
Basically, there are 11 video tracks, each with clips (some of the clips have been disabled, but all the tracks are enabled).
However, when I go to export/edl, with target video track unchecked, it only exports the lowest track for some reason.

edl is an old format from the linear edit days. it looks at track1 as being "video" and track2 as being "Key". if you must supply edl duplicate your sequence and flatten layers. if you need to get it to another fcp system use xml. if you're going to another system check out "Automatic Duck"
