Unexpectedly fast change of IP

I"m setting OS X Tiger Server up on an internal network. It will serve only the Macs, except for its exceptional talents like its chat server capabiility and its LDAP.
We do not currently use LDAP so this is the first LDAP setup for us.
The iMacs usualy had a string of IP addresses consecutively,until some aquired Airport cards. These changed IPs. Airport is being discontinued and our Airport Cards are now obsolete. So the IP addresses are now changing back.
The server's IP address is one of those which changed. I was not ready for the change when it happened and now I've lost what set up I've done. From the ServerAdmin GUI I can only see local configurations. However, from the commaand line, the server is still registered with its valid serial number and users which are registered locally are there along with their groups on the server so sudo id davidf shows:
uid=502(davidf) gid=502(davidf) groups=502(davidf), 74(mysql), 120(netboot), 81(appserveradm), 10(owner), 52(netusers), 12(everyone), 99(unknown), 84(jabber), 79(appserverusr), 80(admin), 70(www), 69(network)
a user unique to the server like itstudent returns nothing at all.
The original server plist I created with the ServerAdmin Assistant is still in place (as well as a new one I created with the new IP address.)
I've now run changeip and that was successfull.
1. Can I rescue any of this configuration I have already done?
2. How can I re-initialize ServerSetup so that I can begin the process again?
This is sort of like jumping into the deep end so you will learn to swim quickly, I know ...

Update on this:
I am now informed that at the end of the month there will be (for altogether unrelated reasons) another IP Address change. This time the addresses will move from private class b to private class a addresses.
So, I may chalk this whole episode up to experience and simply re-install the server from scratch, as well I can use the time to get up to speed with LDAP and Imaging.
Still, my questions stand, especially the one about re-initializing the ServerSetup Assistant.

You cannot change this via "Fast Change".
Please see the usage of this field.
Calculation of the delivery time is an element in the determination of a vendor's adherence to delivery dates (that is, the vendor's delivery timeliness, or on-time delivery performance) in MM Vendor Evaluation.
If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes. However, the statistics-relevant delivery
date remains unchanged.
As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.

GL Account in Fast change not working - is any Exit or BADI available?

In ME21N/ME22N, there is a Fast Change Icon at the item level after Copy Item Icon.
When clicked on it, we can see the hidden fields in it which are present in the structure
MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS
Now I want to add one more field which is the GL ACCOUNT (SAKTO) in this list.
So I added this field to MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS structure by doing an Append Structure.
I can see the GL Account FIELD in the structure MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS
but when we assign any value and execute it is not making any difference in the Screen.
Please help me if any Exit or BADI is avalialbe which works for the above scenario.

You were a bit optimistic, no ? even customer fields that were some times ago were not changed even if displayed ([Note 356628 - ME21N Fast change customer-defined fields displayed|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/356628]) - i fear that you are going into a modification of standard if you want to continue on this way...

Purchase Order 'Fast Change' functionality

Hi Experts,
The standard fast change function in PO does not accomodate fields used for intercompany transfers like Route etc. Some threads discussed this but defers to Tcode MASS which also does not include this field. MASS is not very recommended for end users
Is there any OSS note to cover this feature for the fast functions? I checked some notes like 557702, 501853 etc but does not help much. Can someone advice the procedure to include such new fields, if applicable

Fast Change function to change plants in sales order

Hi All,
Once the plant is determined in sales order, thru the option "edit fast change-->plants", one can change the plants at line item level.
my issue is Iam using a BOM material in sales order. In the line item, the main material has plant 3019 and the component material has plant 3019..... now when i use the fast change function to change plant 3019 to plant 4500 for main material and component material, the system changes the plant to 4500 for component material but does not change the plant to 4500 for main material in sales order.
why it is so. The bom material and its components are defined for both plants 3019 and 4500.
Do the fast change of plant function does not work for BOM main material

As far as my understanding goes, the fast change of plants is there only for sales order line item. So it will not change at the BOM level.

form userexit_field_modification in MV45AFZZ will be called during the VA02 transaction (and the VA01).
There is a case statement within here.
case screen-name.
which allows processing to be limited to a field on the tranaction screen. KUWEV-KUNNR is the screen element for the ship to, so you should be able to trap any changes in here.

Fast change of Purchase Requisitions

Hi all out there
Some of "my users" ask for the possibility for doing "Fast Change" for Purchase Requisitions - just like it is for Purchase Orders.
I can't find out to enabele this feature, but think it might be possible

And When you go to ME22N, there is a list of Icons b/w Item Overview and Item Details, there you get the button of "Fast Change" whereas in case of PR, it is not there.

We developped a mapping about one year ago on XI SP9.
The source of the message was an Idoc and the target an XML sample (and not a xsd!) of what our customer expected.
Everything was working fine at that point.
Here is an extract of the output we had:

after a short view I would say that the two structures you have posted are logically equivalent.
I try to make it clear for the sender-element.
In the first example you have a tag <p:sender>. Obviously the namespace prefix 'p' is used here. In order to find out the qualified name of the element represented by that tag you have to find the namespace declaration for prefix p. As the tag itself does not contain such a declaration you have to go to the parent-tag. Indeed, here you find a declaration for p which says that p is just an alias for 'http://localhost/webs/msgDetails.xsd'. Hence the qualified name for the element is: 'sender' in namespace 'http://localhost/webs/msgDetails.xsd'.
Now let us look at the corresponding tag <ns2:sender> in the second document. In oder to identify the qualified name of the element you have to find out, which namespace is bound to the namespace prefix ns2 which has been used here. Again you cannot find this in the tag itself but in its parent. Here you find that ns2 is bound to 'http://localhost/webs/msgDetails.xsd'. (Indeed, here you see that prefix p is also bound to that namespace. This seems to be superfluous to me, as the prefix is never used.)
Consequently, the qualified name of that element is: 'sender' in namespace 'http://localhost/webs/msgDetails.xsd'.
Thus, both tags represent elements with the same qualified name. For more details look at http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml-names/.

New field in ME22n - Fast change option

Hi Experts,
I have a requirment to add new field (SLFDT - Statistical delivery date) in ME22N fast change option.Since the customer don't want to change the standard structures ,I have created append structure for MEPOITEM and MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS. But the new field doen't display in the output, even it doesn't come in debugging mode.
I have added this field in debugging mode in both structures , at that time this field displays in fast change list.Kindly suggest me on this.
Also I am not able to find any relevent sap note for this scenario.

we have to append structure with new fields in MEGUI_MASSCH_ALLOWED_FIELDS and MEPOITEM.
after that we have to reset the buffer .

One of our Customer Order Center people asked if this is possible...
Add the following to the "fast change of" function in VA02 so we can change several lines at a time.
- billing date
- product hierarchy
- router.

Go to 'VA02' screen and select 'Edit' from Menu and go to 'Fast Change of' option.
Now you are here to do the rapid change of below options:
1. Reason for Rejection
2. Delivery Block
3. Billing Block
4. Delivery Date
5. Delivery Priority
6. Plant
7. Returns Control
8. Approval
