Unexpectedly quit on Opening - Have tried reinstalling
Hello. I'm really at a loss as to what to do. Every time I open Logic it opens for a second then unexpectedly quits. I've tried reinstalling, tried updating the application support, tried opening without my interface...Can anyone help me?
Yeah, ran across this thread while searching the forums on this issue and, like others, have had this exact issue and, like others, have been sending in the crash reports for ages. I notice no one has responded to this thread in a while. Has there been any kind of response from Adobe on this yet? It is only a "mildly annoying" problem and I haven't lost any work as a result but it seems like a sign of sloppy programming if nothing else.
Oh, and, for what it's worth, here's my system configuration:
17" MBP (Mid/Late 2007 model)
4GB RAM
OS X v. 10.5.8

I'm transferring the iWorks applications from my Macbook Pro 3,1 with Lion to a new MBP 10,1 running Mountain Lion. I transferred the apps over using DropCopy since the older MBP doesn't have AirPlay. Applications show up but crash upon opening. This is the first install so there are no previous plist, versions or such to delete. All three crashed upon opening every time until I just had to have Keynote and purchased again - although Apple agreed to refund that purchase since my previous version quit working. Any ideas since I don't have any previous plist/versions to delete? Thanks in adavnce for any help you can offer.

I have updated my iTunes to the latest edition and now my iTunes will not open saying MSVCR80.dll is missing from my computer and that i have to reinstall itunes. I have tried reinstalling twice now and this error message keeps appearing. What is going on?

TextEdit is not working. I have tried repairing and I have tried reinstalling but it still says "You can't open the application TextEdit.app because it may be damaged or incomplete."

Every time I open photoshop elements 11, it uninstalls. I have tried reinstalling 3 times, but get same result.

Uninstall and reinstall iTunes

Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

I am trying to install the newest version of Itunes and each time I repeatedly get the message "Program cannot start MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer Try reinstalling to fix this problem". Just migrated using time machine from MacBook Pro to older Macbook. iPhoto 9.4.3 won't open. Tried reinstall - no change. (Mac OS X 10.7.5)
Did you migrate the app from Time Machine? Reinstall it.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
The reference to NovaMedia is that there is the remanant of an older app in there somewhere that won't run on 10.7

Haven't been able to use pages for a while. Keep getting following message. Have tried reinstalling iWork, but no luck. Same problems with Keynote and Numbers/
Have you moved Pages from its installed location? Or just dragged a copy to your current system?
It can't find some of its resources apparently.

I can´t syncronize my Iphone 5 with Itunes 11.1.5.5. The option looks like locked in the menu. I have tried reinstalling Itunes but this is not the solution. Actually my PC runs under Windows 8.1. and Iphone runs under IOS 7.1. Someone can help me, please?
It seems I have solved my own problem . . . well hopefully !! ;-)
I was using a 'non' Apple cable. When I swithced to using the stock cable that came with my iPhone, iTunes can now see that I have a 'Device' and identifies it correctly as my iPhone.
Hopefully this may help others . . . ?

Hi guys. After updating to 7.0.6 my iphone 5s is no longer showing in itunes. Strangley it is recognised by my PC (windows 8) when I click on my computer. I have tried reinstalling itunes and making sure the drivers are up to date, but this has made no difference. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any advice? Thanks

FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works.
