UNFORMATTED TEXT UNDER Authorisation

Hi Experts,
Can any one of you help to know for what purpose we are using the UNFORMATTED TEXT as (NO AUTHORISATION/FULL AUTHORISATION).
if I am clear the purpose of this is use of
1.The free text which are enter like opening remarks/closing remarks of the documents
2.Remark column
3.Free text in the line item of the document is strickly not allowed.
i tried in givin authorisation/ no authorisation for my user id and check it is not reflecting,

We have one UNFORMATTED TEXT ....... Full Authorisation/ No Authorisation..

Outside of zoom, is there a way to make the text under icons larger for elderly use of iPad?

We gave my mom an ipad mini, but the text under the icons is barely readable for the elderly. The accessibility options increase the size of contacts, email, etc, and the zoom gives an option to increase, but that is not user friendly for the elderly - 3 finger tap on/off??? Really???? For a senior with arthritis?

How to copy/paste as unformatted text in Acrobat 9 Pro text field?

Hi all,
I'm having difficulty copying/pasting text from another source as unformatted text in an interactive PDF text field in Acrobat 9 Pro. I have specified the font size, colour and typeface for the text field. However, when I copy and paste text, the text retains its formatting. Strangely enough, this isn't an issue when I type out the text.
I'm really not keen on typing out all the text for all the text fields because:
there's alot of it
waste of my time
potentially introducing typos

Thanks for your suggestion! That actually did work pretty well.
I had set up all the fields as non-rich text, cut and pasted the text into the fields, and then change the fields back to rich text to format them (ie superscript, subscript etc).
Unfortunately, now I'm faced with another problem.
I won't be able to add more "unformatted" text later on easily. It appears that to do so, I would have to change the fields to non-rich text which wipes out all the formatting I've already applied.
Any suggestions?

How do I Put my own text under the photos when I create a web-gallery? If I use Custom, it will show the same under all photos, and if I use titles, I have to rename all, and then I can not use the same title for some...

Gallery with HTML text under image

I'm working on a gallery of images with thumbnails on the left and larger photos on the right. My problem is the larger photos on the right need some text under them. I've been adding the text to the photos in photoshop and doing this as a standard swap image/swap image restore. What I was wondering, is there a way to add this text as HTML. When I do the swap image I would need to swap out the HTML text also. I've done this as a layered div in the past, but it gets cumbersome when you have 30 thumbnails. Hopefully someone has a good solution for this. I'm thinking about giving up on Dreamweaver and doing this sort of thing in Flash.

How do i create gallery with text under thumbnails?

Hi. Im new in Muse and im trying to learn. My next challenge is to make thumbnails with text under like this:
And when visitors click a thumbnail it should pop up the original size picture in a lightbox. A mouseover big pic
should also work.

I had to manually put pic in thumbnail and in lightbox. (or is it an other way?)
I also had to put the text under thumbnail manually... but thats ok. To bad i cant group it with the thumbnail.

PDF of iPhoto book not displaying text under photos

Just created a wedding book in iPhoto 11 but when I saved it as pdf to proof it, text under photos was not there. I could see the top of some letters at bottom of photos. However, on my slide show and in reviewing the book in iPhoto, text is there. So, if I upload the wedding book to Apple (or whoever they contract with), will the text appear in the published book?

Retrieve unformatted text from JFormattedTextField

Hi everyone,
I'm using FormattedTextField to define my formatted text fields and I'm using MaskFormatter to set the format.
I've been trying (with no success :( ) to find a way to retrieve the unmasked text that has been set for a text field.
For example, if the formatter is :
new MaskFormatter("(###)###-###"), then the text field will display the input as:
(342)123-455.
I need to retrieve the text as : 342123455.
I expected to find a parse or a getUnmaskedText methods in one of these class, but there is none.
Any idea will be appreciated.

Using formatter1.stringToValue("...") with a string that's not formatted return a parse exception. Try: formatter1.stringToValue("1234567890").
Using formatter1.stringToValue("(123)456-7890") returns (123)456-7890.
valueToString returns the formatted text or a parse exception is the string is incomplete: (111)23_-____

I want to get/set unformatted text using a Formatter.
I've also tried to set an unformatted text to the field by using setText.
This call: field1.setText("1234567890") - will truncate the last 2 digits ....
So, again. My application saves the unformatted data. I want to be able to display it as formatted but retrieve it and set it as unformatted data.

Selecting text under inline graphic

I need to edit text under an inline graphic. I am not able to select / edit the text.
I've tried to "send to back" (the graphic), but it still says above the text.
I'm doing this in order to get round corners around a table.
If you know how to drill down and select the text, I would be much obliged.
I'm using CS4 ME version.

There is no layering with an in-line graphic (what InDesign now calls Anchored Object). The object is inserted in the text flow, and since text flows as it is entered, an in-line object will be cover text that is before it in the flow (ie. before the insertion point) and text after the insertion point will be superimposed on top of it. That doesn't mean that you can directly select that text that appears to be "on top" of the object though. To select that text you will need to position your cursor in text that is not covered by the graphic and use the arrow keys to navigate to the point in the text that you want to edit. (alternately you could just use find/change).
You should still post a screen shot of what you're doing because there may be more to it than this. For instance, if your in-line graphic is a table that is already in a text frame as opposed to simply inserted into the text, you could be unnecessarily complicating things.

"Unformatted Text" in Authorizations

The "unformatted text" is used to control whether the user can export data in XML format or not. .
"Full Authorization - The user can export data in XML format. Authorization for the relevant functions and documents is also
required.
No Authorization - The user cannot export data in XML format."

Text Under Icons

I hope someone can help. This happened all of a sudden. All the text under my icons and in the drop downs and in the menu bars are a line of capital A's inside a box.
I have restarted my computer and have done a hardware and software check. Does anyone have an idea.
