Unhappy customer - shipping issue - wrong items received

I completed my follow up survey but wanted someone to be aware of my issue.  I have ordered many items over the years from bestbuy.com and have never had an issue until last week.  
I ordered a new digital camera and when it arrived I opened up a box of ink cartrdges, not at all what I had ordered.  The invoice showed the doigtal camera is being inside the box.  I contacted customer service and the camera has since been reshpped.  
My complaint is that it was sent standard shipping???  Why was it not shipped expedited since it was an error on best buy's part?  This was extremely disppaointing because I ordered the camera early enough to be received in time to be used on specific day which is now in the past.  I am also leary of future problems since I anticpate being double billed for two cameras even though I expect to receive just one ( assuming the camera and not more ink cartridges shows up later this week).
Poor customer service with reagrds to this shipping error............

Online ordering should be a quick and easy way to purchase what you need, but certainly doesn’t work if we don’t provide you what you ordered. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to find ink cartridges instead of the camera I purchased, so I’m sure waiting any longer than necessary for the correct item is absolute torture, and I’m sorry for the unexpected wait.
If a reshipment is necessary for one reason or another, we typically reship based on the shipping option that was originally selected.  As your order was processed through standard shipping, we do ask for 4 to 8 business days to deliver your order according to our Shipping Costs and Timing policy. Having said this, I looked at your recent reshipment using your email address attached to the forum, and according to the tracking number, UPS should have your camera delivered by end of day today. Please know though that a signature is required to accept the delivery.

  • Guest account. Received wrong item. Seller will not return messages. How do I get my money back?

    Hello all.  I put in an order as a guest user and paid with a credit card.  I received the wrong item, and subsequently made an account to open a query with the seller. The seller does not respond to my messages, and I can't open a case as i did not purchase the item on this account. I have the transaction id, shipping number part number seller info as well as the name of the guest account.  What are my options? Thanks for the help

    click on the store tab on the top left of iTunes.  Scroll to where it says "Authorize this computer...".  Click on that and enter your apple id and password then click authorize.  The reason iTunes says that your computer needs to be authorized is because it is to be sure that iTunes knows can trust your new computer

    I want to make Inter company PO but I am not getting the Shipping Tab in item level. All Sales view is maintained in Material Master for both the Plant and Material. Could anybody help regarding the Settings of Shipping point to get Shipping tab while creating the PO.
    If any Sales module setting if required please inform.
    Already for one Plant it is getting, but same I have to maintain for another Plants.
    At backend supply plant & receiveing Plant for Doc type is maintained and checking rule is also assinged.

    Answer to your Question,
    Please understand that Shipping Point and Route will be automatically determined based on the configuration settings we make. However we can even override the values manually in sales order screen (Va01 / Va02). See below the config settings to be made for  Shipping point and Route:
    1. Shipping Point.
    Based on the combination of below three parameters, Shipping Point will automatically populate while creating a Sale order. (VA01)
              Shipping Condition
              Loading Group
              Delivering Plant
    SPRO- Logistics Exceution - Shipping - Basic Shipping Functions - Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination - Assign Shipping Points
    2. Route
    Based on the following Four factors from configuration:
    Departure Zone of Shipping Point
    Destination Zone of Customer (Shipto)
    Shipping Condition from Customer master.
    Transportation Group from Material Master.

    Issue is fixed with the following steps.
    - Make sure the Shipping Method has enabled the the option "Web Enabled"
    - Login to EBS-Oracle and click on iStore Administrator responsibility
    - Navigate to Shipping
    - Add the shipping method which is activated 'Web ENabled' option to the current site.
    In order to check the Shipping Methods fot the current site, check the outputs of the following SQLs.
    Atleast 1 row should be identical from the following SQL output

    I see another long shipping discussion from 2011.... starting one for 2012...
    I ordered an s230u on Nov 23... no customization... initial estimated ship was Dec 10... then it progressed to Dec 23... Now it is Jan 28, 2013!
    Anyone have any scoop on realities for this?
    Wondering if I should cancel and simply go in search of something in stock locally

    I have had pretty much the exact same jumping between dates as rabilancia, my order date was on Nov 10, and the ship date bounces between Dec 5 and Dec 10. One of the reasons I purchased this laptop was because it was supposed to ship within the first week of me ordering. I even confirmed it with my sales agent. She assured me it would not ship later than Nov 16th! She -I should add- will also  not return my calls concerning an issue with getting a EPP credit I forgot to menition during a hasty sale made at the end of Lenovo's business day.
    I even spoke to someone else regarding the shipping issue, and was told that I was looking up my order status on the wrong page  (there are two pages on their site where you can look up you status and they are slightly different from one another), and assured me it was going to ship on Nov 29th. When I looked up the order status on the other page it clearly stated that my extra warranty was going to "ship" on Nov 29th, but the laptop itself was the same date I had complained to him about.....kind of feels like he just wanted to get me off the phone.

    I purchased a Lenovo because I had so many problems with Dell, and heard they were a reliable company. Now all the same issues I had with Dell are slowly occuring with Lenovo. A protracted ship date, and poor customer service agets who are too eager to make a sale and make up any excuse to get off the hook with you when you call with a complaint. I just hope the quality of Lenovo`s products don`t mimick Dell`s.....my year and half old Dell XPS had a battery, motherboard and hard drive failure!
    Sorry to rant, but this is aggrivating and I hope it is not foreshadowing problems to come.

                What is customer and vendor open items.

    When you procure some goods from a Vendor you create a "Vendor Invoice" for it & similarly when you sell goods to a customer you create a "Customer Invoice".
    So in simple accounting terms you need to pay money to a vendor & get money from a customer (i am not getting into complicated cases).
    The vendor invoices for which you have not paid money are called "Vendor Open Items". Similarly the customer invoices for which you have not received money are called "Customer Open Items".
    The SAP tables for this are:
    BSIK --> Vendor Open Items
    BSID --> Customer Open Items.

  • Grouping issue vouchers items in an invoice

    Hi all
    I'm developing an inventory and sales system , I have a master detail form for issue vouchers issued to customers, the master block contains the columns voch_no (issue voucher no) and the customer_no from issheads table and the detail block contains voch_no, stock_code,quantity and price colums from isslines table.
    Each customer may have more than one issue voucher, and each issue voucher may have more than one item.
    I have another form, the invoice form (also a master detail just like the issue voucher).
    What i hope to do is when the user creates a new invoice for a specific customer, he shouldn't create the invoice items himeself, but he should select some issue vouchers that belong to that customer (better to be multi select), then the invoice items will be created automatically to get the sum(quantity) grouping a line for each item by stock_code,price.
    The issue voucher numbers related to each invoice should be saved in a table for later updating.
    my question is :
    1-Should i create a new table that contains all the nmbers of the issue vouchers related to the invoice no ?
    2- how can i handle this in forms builder ?, should i create a new form, or can i achieve this in the invoice form itself and how?

    You're probably right, I might be talking about a feature of the sistem I'm using. Actually I'm not sure if I have access to database but probably not, I work at Xerox in Brasil and would like to know a little bit more about Oracle, with out have to ask my boss all the time. I work with record receipts of different species have lost much time trying to find repeating items on invoices. Sometimes we have interface issues, some items don't go to WIS (warehouse information system) after it registers on Oracle, so we have the physical part but it's not in the report storage
    My boss once told me he would teach me a way to see items of an invoice (repeting or not) after it registers on Oracle, but he is too busy, so I'm trying to find out by myself. If it helps, the systems responsability is Oracle applications - OSPD and my security group is standart.

    We have added custom tab in po item level, now we want to make those fields manditory
    for specific document type.We are using badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST .
    The message is getting triggered initially , but after giving data in the custom fields the badi
    is not getting triggered again.And triggers if we make changes to some other fields in po.
    So can we trigger the badi after giving data in custom tab ?

  • Profit Center in Customer and Vendor Line item

    i have one doubt we have activated the new GL in one of client for profit center level. while posting through any of financial transaction particularly customer and vendor there is no filed for input parameters for profit center. while booking these kind of transaction system pick up the dummy profit center. even our field status group for  gl master data and posting key made as optional PCA filed not displaying.    client want it should be pick up  automatically from line item and should be input parameters.
    how to resolve this issue please let me know.

    You are saying that u have activated New G/L, but are u gone for document spliting also or not? if you have activated document spliting customer and vendor line items not at all required any profit center because it will petch the profit center from oppsite line item automatically for giving tallyed balance sheet at profit center leavel, so no question profit center required or going to dummy profit center because dummy profit center will be locked automatcially once u activate document spliting.
    if you have not activated document spliting then customer and vendor line items may require profit center its depends on your field status settings, if you feel that it should not go to dummy profit center then maintain some profit center in 3keh & 3kei settings for customer and vendor reconcliation accounts, so that it will post to that profit center.

    POINT 1: Both ADI works as expected when added as function to Standard Inventory responsibility with menu INV_NAVIGATE.
    POINT 2: Item Update ( with No Security) Works fine from custom responsibility
    POINT 3: Item category assignment (with organization security) fails with "invalid integration key" error from custom responsibility. But if the user has "System Administrator" responsibility to his account it works fine, which makes me think that it has to do something with custom responsibility.

    Still the same even after bouncing application. But if application bouncing was issue then none of the custom ADI should have worked from custom application. But ONLY ONE of the two is not working. Item update ADI is working just fine but Item Category assignment is not.
    Any more clues??
    I tried by adding Create Document, adding Desktop Integration menu to custom responsibility menu, nothing works. As soon as I add "System Administrator" responsibility to User  OR add the custom ADI function to standard inventory responsibility with INV_NAVIGATE menu, it works.
    Please let me know if anybody has any clue on this issue.

  • Custom shipping options?

    Alright - I got a question I can't seem to find an answer to.
    I've got an item. this item measures
    W - 3.5
    H - 5.75
    D - 1.5
    Then I've defined some custom shipping options.
    These are the USPS boxes - where an items weight doesn't matter. Only the size of the items.
    8.625 x 5.375 x 1.625 SMALL BOX
    1 x 8.5 x 5.5 MEDIUM BOX
    12 x 12 x 5.5 LARGE BOX
    The idea here is to fit the items into the box - the whole " if it fits it ships " idea.
    If you add two of these items into the shopping cart, it basically just doubles the dimensions of ALL the measurements of the items... Which will exceed at least one of W H D - so it returns no shipping options. It should just go up to the next size box, or at least return it as an option. It seems that this is seriously broken in a very big way. You could fit two of these items into a medium sized box - easy. but the system seems to kick it back since the height is larger than the height of the boxes... but only when you add them in together. the volume works.
    The client does not care for how the shipping API's work - so this was my solution - if it fits it ships. Am I missing something seriously major here or is shipping in general just a HUGE flaw in the business catalyst system?

    The image thing would have to be implemented with some JS. You'd listen to the dropdown change and then render the image according to the shipping selection. I unfortunately don't have the code for you that will do this.
    As for the free shipping option, you'd need to use a user defined option of $0 rather than the Free Shipping option and then set your weights so that both options are displayed at the same time when 2 or more items are added.
