Unicode symbols not showing up?

Hi. I currently experiencing issues with Unicode symbols/characters on my Mac. Some of them just won't show up. Currency symbols, such as the are turned into a square. The same thing goes for all the 2C00-2D00 symbols listed in this Unicode table. I've been looking for Unicode font downloads, but I can't find them anywhere. D: Any solutions to this are much appreciated. Thanks.
ETA: Oh snap! I just realized that I should have posted in the Snow Leopard section. Would a mod/admin please move it there? ^^;;

I am facing problem. when we load the data from ODS to CUBE .Data loaded succesfully.In ods manage screen DATA MART symbol not showing.

Hi Kamal,
Try running delta update from ODS to Cube manually by right click ods -> Update data into data target -> Delta update.
And hopefully datamart status should get checked.
Also see the request status of datamart from ODS to Cube it may be in red / yellow status.

Percentage symbol not showing on member

Hi All,
I am working on Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3. I created a custom dimension named Measurement.
In this one member is say X and I set the Data Type as percentage.
In Column I taken period and in row the member X. While entering the value on that say .07, it is not showing in percentage symbol(%), like 70%.
Please any one can suggest what is wrong here.

as correctlt pointed in the above post ,the purpose is to set the priority to display memebers in forms.for example
lets say we have a memeber P1 of product dimension with data type percentage and we have an account A1 of type currency
now we have displayed the intersection of these two members in a form and punched a value 5 on the form.
if the evaluation order is set as
Products
Accounts
then the the value displayed on the form will be in 500 %
but if the evaluation order is
Accounts
Products
then the value displayed will be 5

Why is the spotlight symbol not showing on macbook air

On my 2007 macbook air, the spotlight search icon is not showing the in the top right corner. Also, the wifi, bluetooth and battery symbols are not showing. If i click the spot there the wifi symbol should be it does up with the little drop down box as it should but the symbol is not showing. I tried installing OX S Mountain Lion however after 40 minutes it still said it had 4hrs and 46 minutes until complete and i didn't have time so i stopped the install.

Cannot find file symbol not showing up

Hi -
I have just done a massive move and backup etc. Things are going fine - just learned that every time you "reorganized" itunes music the entire file structure changes so a real back up with something like SyncBack totally ***** but...
The question is...
I know that there are about 50 files that do not have the proper file association. Last night there were the little exclamation points next to the song so I could find and correct them. I closed itunes and turned the computer off for the night. And now this morning when I open up the computer and itunes I cannot tell which songs still need updating because the little exclamation points are gone. How do I get those symbols back??!! (And yes, there still are files to be corrected I test that this morning)

I don't think your picture has anything to do with Spotlight. My Applications folder shows up the exact same way. Mac OS X applications aren't usually a single item, they're "packages" with items and folders inside. To get folders and packages to show their size, you'll have to change the "View Options" from the View menu. Check the box on to "Calculate all sizes". I would probably change the dialog box to reflect the changes to "This window only". Otherwise the Finder will be re-calculating the size of everything in every window. That could slow things down a bit.

Email formatting - multiline symbol not showing

I am using method <i>sendtaskdescription</i> to send an email. The body of the mail is the task description as normal. I have embedded a multiline element as an expression in the task description using the option "All lines with line break". However, only the first line will show in the email. Each line of the multiline element is simply a text string.
I have tried all kinds of formatting options in the task description, but nothing seems to help. Anyone with any suggestions?

Out of all the meaningless and unexplained suggestions here in this forum....
Would you care to explain why refreshing the organizational buffers should influence the multiline text element inclusion in a work item description? Or were you just taking a shot in the dark, hoping to get some points awarded either out of pity or because Tony didn't know better?
Now, before some of you say I shouldn't be so harsh, I care to disagree. If this is the quality of advice, then what is the point of the forum? The goal of this forum surely can not be to <u>lower</u> our average intelligence, can it?
If someone, like Abishek in this case, is taking a shot in the dark - they he/she should at least have the decency and integrity to qualify their advice by stating that: "I'm taking a shot in the dark", or "I don't really know anything about this, but here are some general tricks to try when things fail".

Objects converted to symbols not showing up in workspace CS4

Has anyone have this problem? It's extremely problematic when you're trying to design something. It plays fine when tested, but you cant see anything that's converted to a graphic, button, or movie clip. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting, etc... Any other advice?
Also, I got an error message about the classic view not loading correctly, and everything's been goofy since. I still can't edit anything in classic view.

I found the answer to this on a previous post by someone else, but am unable to find it again. Will someone please help me find a posting with a similar topic? My symbols keep disappearing, but it works fine when I preview it.

Exchange - reply and forward arrow symbols not showing in Outlook

I have a hosted Exchange 2007 account and I am running iOS 6.1.3 on an iPhone 4S. When I reply to an e-mail, a grey reply arrow shows up on my iPhone. However, in Outlook, there is no reply arrow. There should be a little purple reply arrow. And a little blue arrow for forwarded emails. Messages that are replied to or forwarded in Outlook or OWA or any other Exchange client exhibits no problems; those little arrows show up everywhere. The exception is when I reply from Mail on an iOS device.
I posted about this issue nearly four years ago, here on Apple's support site: https://discussions.apple.com/message/9942216 . As far as I know, to this date, this issue still has not been fixed.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? And more importantly, is there a fix that I am unaware of?

In case this is an issue for anyone else, iOS 8 seems to have fixed this.

Certain symbols not showing up...

While viewing websites that show characters such as Japanese symbols, etc. it insted shows up as a square with numbers in it. How can I fix this to show the correct character?

Make sure that you have installed East Asian language support.

Interactive Report Loader symbol not showing in M$ IE

Hi all,
I came across a strange problem:
Using APEX 3.2, I created a page that contains an interactive report plus a second region below where I display additional info depending on which row of the report has been selected. All working fine so far. In the mentioned additional section, i placed some buttons triggering on-demand processes which take sometimes some seconds to return. To show that the process is running, I want to display some kind of "sand glasses" and came across the APEX IR Loader animation.
The javascript function triggered when pressing the button show something like this:

This is working fine when using FireFox 3.5: The animation gets displayed when the process is starting and hides when it is finished.
Strangely enough, when viewing the page with Internet Explorer (v8), the animation is not shown here, but is when pressing the standard "next page" button of the interactive report.
Also, if I put a window.alert() right before the StartOnDemandProcess - line, the image is shown, but freezes immediately when the MsgBox has been clicked away.
To me, it looks like that I missed something in trying to mimic the showing of the Loader image.
Any hints how to force IE to do the same as Firefox here are welcome!

When we move the report to the new server it only shows the browser scroll bars. It doesn’t show the report scroll bars.
We actually redeployed the reports to the new server.
We were investigating this a bit further this morning and discovered something interesting. On the New Server, when we access our reports using the ip address we have this problem
but if we use the web address it works fine. On the old server when we access the reports using both the ip address and web address they are both fine. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately I'm on leave now until Tuesday, so I will be unable to do any more testing until then.

Symbols not showing/invisible (layers NOT hidden)

Hi,
I recently experienced a very strange bug and even after
uninstalling and reinstalling Flash the bug is still there. My
problem is as follows: existing symbols on stage appear blank with
the correct bounding box. FIlls and lines appear correctly, but as
soon as they are converted to a symbol they disappear. Components
like the included drop down menu appear correctly.

Earpiece symbol not showing when connected

Please i can't listen to music through earpiece and i bought my phone new,its c5-00.2 ,initially it use to play but sometimes it wont but now its not working anymore,please what will i do

Please visit a Nokia Care Point to have your C5-00 checked. If it is recently bought you might also want to consider returning to your supplier. From what you describe it appears the switching mechanism in the earphone connection is not working which is why the phone does to detect the headset being plugged in.

Genius switched on but the symbol not showing on selected album in the iPod so unable to create a genius play list. This has only happened since last Apple update.

Have tried all avenues to try and rectify this problem and is getting very annoying. In the past it has stopped me from creating a list stating not enough songs matching which i find odd seeing i have over 2,500 on my iPod.

As you can see, your pre-requisite checks are failing because you are not on supported OS version.
Please verify supported OS from SRSP guide (If you are on prior Siebel version 8.1.1.8) or Certification tab for all siebel versions from 8.1.1.9.

Symbols not showing keyframed position with goTo

I am working on a simple spot-the-difference game, a pair of photos with hotspots the user taps on either photo to pick differences.
It's a Flash CS5 project with a movie class, a class for the circles. It has worked fine with a single "level", but I am trying to add additional "levels" by adding a new keyframe in the timeline for each additional level. So i create a new keyframe and add the new pair of photos and reposition the symbols that are the circles to correspond with the new photos:
In my Movie Class, when level one is finished, I issue the AS: this.gotoAndStop(this.currentFrame+1);
The images change to the frame 2 images, but the circles are in the same position they were in for frame 1. The keyframed positions are ignored.
What am I missing here? Can this be corrected? I'd rather visually position each layer's circles in on the stage for simplicity's sake.

It's probably an old anomoly of Flash at work... When you have the same objects in adjacent keyframes the objects in the latter frame will assume properties of those in the previous frame. Try placing an empty column of keyframes between each level so that the objects don't fall into this trap.
