Unidentifi​ed error

Question

I have an HP photosmart C5580 All-in-One machine.  a few months ago, it stopped working all together.  I turned it on one day and got a blue screen with a power symbol on it and an error code that shows up nowhere in the manual.  I unplugged the machine, let it sit for a few minutes and plugged it back in.  I got the same error screen with a different code.  See below for examples of recent codes.
Sometimes I plug it in and nothing lights up except the scanner bar.  Sometimes I get the startup screen that freezes and stays frozen or goes to an error code of the same type as shown.  One constant is there is never any physical movement inside the unit.  The cartridges do not move, the scanner bar doesn't move, everything is static.  I removed the cartridges and still nothing.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I could not see your error code in your message, but you could try a few RESETS.
FIRST try a HARD RESET
- Unplug the USB cable from the PC
-Unplug the POWER cord from the wall and the printer
-wait 60 seconds
-reconnect the POWER cord to the wall and printer. (turn printer on if it doesn't come on automatically)
-reconnect the USB cable to the PC.
- That could clear the error....
If that doesn't work try the SEMI FULL RESET. *** Doing this will clear any information stored in your printer***
Press and Hold the “Print Photos” & “Red Eye Removal” buttons. Release both buttons. Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
Press and release in sequence “Red Eye Removal”, “Print Photos”, “Red Eye Removal”
Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”. (on C8100 use Touch Screen)
Press and release the “OK” button.
Display should say “Support”. Use the Right arrow Key to look for "Reset Menu".
Press and release the “OK” button.
Press the right arrow key to look for "Semi-Full Reset", press 'OK'
The printer will go off and will power on by itself, else wait for 20 seconds and power on the printer to complete reset.
If this doesn't work call HP, and ask about the UPGRADE option for printers. Upgrade allows you to get your old printer replaced with a newer model printer with the similar spec as your current printer for a discounted rate up to 50% off.
