Uninstall 3.0beta and re-install to a lower build

I have recently upgraded my safari to the 3.0 beta version but one major problem arises - MSN messenger
My msn messenger always shuts down itself either because saying it's not available or i wasn't connected to the internet (which was 100% not true). So i sent an email to MSN for assistance and i got a reply back that this problem has been experienced by a lot of people and their team is working on it. but the specialist also mentioned that this problem is largely due to upgrading safari to the 3.0 beta version and suggested me to uninstall 3.0, and install a lower build.
now my question is i tried to download other lower builds but it keeps saying that i don't meet the requirement. I am using Mac OS version 10.4.9. i just bought my mac book 2 weeks ago.
can someone let me know which version of safari i should download and how can i do that?

Welcome to Apple Discussions and Mac Computing
To "uninstall Safari 3", you need to use the Uninstaller that comes in the Installation package. There is no other way to do this. If you no longer have the Installer package, you can download another copy here. Do not use the computer during the uninstall. When complete, you'll be instructed to restart the computer. After the restart, Safari will be back to 2.0.4.
And yes, MSN Messenger is buggy in Safari. No fix either from Apple or MS has yet appeared.

The warning about the warranty is light hearted, I think at one stage it warned "here be dragons" but also intended to make us think as it warns that making changes may produce problems.

Sorry to hear that, Snow Leopard runs as fast or faster than either Tiger and Leopard did on my Jan 2006 Early Intel iMac on 2GB of RAM?
Before you blame Snow Leopard, run the Extended Apple Hardware Test and check the SMART status of your Hard Drive to make sure that you do not have another problem.

Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.

Two suggestions: the first one is a workaround. You just have to drill down your program file tree to Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer and find the .exe file - the one specifically for Organizer, not Elements. Make a shortcut to that file on your desktop and it will open Organizer. The second suggestion resolved the problem altogether for me. I actually called Dell and after working with several different techs over several different days, I talked to a tech in premium support who was excellent. I discovered from them that it is actually a problem with the windows system files. I have 8.1. I went through a "refresh" on my computer which rebuilt all the files. Then reinstalled Adobe as well as my other programs again and Photoshop Elements Organizer works from the standard desktop shortcut.

Uninstall quicktime pro and re-install

I have a problem with FCP quitting "unexpectedly" every time I try to export a H264 file, regardless of the original timeline codec.
I downloaded a program which analyzes the error logs and IT thinks it is QuickTime that is causing the "quits"
So my goal here is to remove quicktime and re-install.
Is there a way to do this short of reinstalling FCP completely?

Quicktime is not likely to be the problem, regardless of your IT wonks' opinions.
But if you're dead set on the attempt, try google for starters. This is hopelessly out of date but might help:

Another possible culprit of your Final Cut Pro problems could be an issue with QuickTime, which is a major component to the workings of Final Cut Pro. One problem could stem from a bad installation (update) of QuickTime. Another reason to re-install QuickTime is if the current version is not compatible with the version of Final Cut Pro you are running and if you need to install an earlier version of QuickTime. The instructions next cover both scenarios.

I'm short of disk space on a solid state drive - can i uninstall CC components and re install onto disk, I tried one and it reinstall on the SSD ?

During install does not ask for a location for the programs.

Roger you can customize the installation location from within the Creative Cloud Desktop application. You can find more details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
Please be aware you will still need space for shared resources and temporary files on the primary hard drive.

When i search through google and the page opens, it freezes showing that it is transfering. Also when i try to access my yahoo mail the same thing happens. I will uninstall Ver4 beta. and re install 3.6 until u guys find solution to this

Don't have McAfee, Norton, AVG, actually nothing else running. Had Firefox 4 installed on 5 computers at home and 2 at work. Completely separate ISP's at home and work. XP and WIN7 computers. Yahoo mail freezes and I tried the old Yahoo mail, the new Yahoo mail, and the Beta Yahoo mail. The only way I can sometimes get mail to open is to right-click and open in a new tab or window. Yes, you can uninstall the Firefox beta release and install the full version of the current Firefox 9.0.1 to change the update channel from beta to release.<br />
Firefox 10 will be released at the end of this month.

Since 4.0 is not compatible w/Norton's tool bar and Norton's Child Protection features, I want to recover the Fire Fox I had before the up-grade. My first attempt was successful but the 'bookmarks' were lost. I re-installed the 4.0 and now I have my bookmarks.
If I discover how to transfer the book marks to one of your competitors, I will. I would rather just go back to the 3.6.16 version.

Symantec are working on updates to make their add-ons work with Firefox 4.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

When I open the program on the iMac and click 'file', (as people using the program would know) there are 21 options - import pics, export, etc, etc - however, in the version on the MacBook Air, opening 'file' gives me four options - New Catalogue, Open Catalogue, Page Setup and Printer - and with that comes the pop-up message "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". Any ideas please?

A forum thread from 3 years ago talking about LR 1.x which had this problem seems to need permissions fixed or new folders created with the corrected permissions. You might try doing a repair permissions for your user and/or run LR as an administrator user. I am a PC person so cannot tell you exactly how to do that.
