Uninstall Adobe Creative Suite

I want to uninstall Creative Suite from my computer.  I have Windows XP operating system.  I tried using Add or Remove Program but was not successful.

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then manually delete all the remaining folders and files.

         in the log I get a ERROR: CS4 not recognized value.

    I reboot the computer, check add remove program, cs4 web standard is still here, and I can still launch the applications like nothing happened...
    but at this point if I try to manually uninstall (with add/remove program) i get an error message saying "cirtical errors during installation: program installation database is incorrect, reinstall from original support" (maybe not accurate as it's in french)
    same thing if i run manually the cleaner tool and go through the dialog.
    I don't know what else I can do, I've already spent a couple of hours with this issue.
    Any help / suggestion would be appreciated, thanks.         

    hi, thanks for your answer, actually this is what I have to do:
    I have to uninstall cs4 english to install it back in french. If I try reinstall with the french licence over the existing install, it starts in trial mode and ask for the licence.
    So if I follow your advice I should reinstall, uninstall, then reinstall ( and I have to do that on 30 computers, through SCCM, not manually)
    As you see it become quite complicated.

    I recently replaced my hardrive after a liquid accident. All files were recovered however most of my software will not open. I'm trying to follow the steps to uninstall Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 however when I go into utilities/Adobe Installers all I find is "Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud" not "Uninstall Adobe Creative Suite 5.5".
    I've searched all over and cannot find the uninstaller. Tried searching online to download the uninstaller but no luck there either.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi szmarketing,
    Try using the Creative Suite Cleaner tool ( Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 ) to remove the software completely.
    After removal you can re-download CS5.5 from Download CS5.5 products  and use the serial number to activate the software.

    Initially, after conversion to Windows8, the flashplayer worked fine. After uninstalling Adobe Creative Suite trial software, the flash player corrupted and only the video portion works, no audio. Followed every single forum solution on Adobe Help site, endured 3+ hours of hold time with Miscrosoft warranty department, to no avail. Downloaded uninstall for the flash player and then uninstalled it and the system still reports the flash player is integrated in Windows 8!!!!!! and functioning. Do I have to re-install the operating system?

    One of our computer broke at the office.
    My collegua tried to install Adobe Creative Suite 2 on the new computer in June.
    It didn't work.
    Today I contacted the online assistance to install the program. The assistance explained me how to downloaded the 3 discs.
    I did it but when I tried to open them when downloaded it asked me if I wanted to install/uninstall/delete it and then ask me to put the disc1 and didn't recognise the disc.
    I understood that the last version downloaded on your website doesn't require any CD.
    I tried to uninstall the old version but it didn't work.
    Can you explain how to uninstall the old version to be able to open the new one?

    if yes, what os?  if windows, use start>control panel>uninstall programs>uninstall the one of the cs2 programs and select all.

    I recently installed an Adobe Creative Suite (Web Premium) upgrade on my MacBook Pro. Because of registration problems, Adobe sent me the full version instead.
    I suspect all I need to do is enter the new serial number, but I think it would be best to go back to square one and install the full version. But do I need to uninstall the upgrade first? That seems the sensible thing to do, leading me to my real question: How?
    Can I simply drag all the icons (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.) from my Applications folder to the trash, or do I need to follow a more involved process? Should I restart my computer after deleting them?

    No, the new CS3 apps cannot be properly uninstalled by just dragging them to the trash. Go to the /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ folder. First run the "Add or Remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium" app (or whatever yours is named). Follow the options to completely remove all CS3 programs. When that's complete, run the other item in the same folder, "Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit". It too has choices to completely remove its files. Once you have done both uninstall steps, then it will be complete and you can install the new version.

    I have purchased an new computer with the Windows 8.1 OS.  The old computer had Windows Vista and is just about to quit working altogether.  I wish to uninstall it on that computer and deactivate it; so that I may install the software that I purchased (some years ago, but hardly used) on my new computer.  Is that allowed and do I have the right idea about doing it?  I have the serial number

    Adobe creative suite cs5: unable to drag objects on illustrator or indesign. unable to open files in photoshop, brush doesnt work in photoshop.
    In the past I uninstalled adobe creative suite cs5 from my laptop, used the adobe creative cloud cleanup tool, restarted and then reinstalled the programs and everything worked again for about a week. Now everything has gone back to the way it was again and this time the uninstalling and reinstalling isnt helping.
    Any ideas?

    I'm having exactly the same problem. Uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled the 30 day trial of the Creative Cloud and it's stil having the same glitches, not opening in photoshop and not being able to drag/move objects in Illustrator or inDesign.

  • Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium Education Edition

    I was given an uninstalled Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium Education Edition by a guy who purchased the wrong product.  He purchased a PC version but he has a Mac.  He was unable to install it and unable to return it because the package was opened.  He did however get a little way into the www.adobe.com/go/edu-validate system.  He apparently got far enough into that process to enter the temporary product code and connect it to his email address.  When I enter the product code, it asks me for the original email address.  I don't have the guy's contact info.  Is there any way to reset this so I can install the product?

    Chances are it will be up to this guy to manage any reset.  It will probably require transfering the license to you formally.

    when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number.  were you?
    if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3.  copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
    if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
    if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
    if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

    Okay, so I was just using Photoshop and then my friend wanted me to try and airdrop it to her since she didn't have photoshop. I tried to airdrop it to her and it failed. Later on, my photopshop icon had an question mark on it and i realized that it won't open. I started to play around and accidentally uninstalled it by going to Applications->Utilities->Adobe Installers and clicked on Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection.   • Adobe Creative Suite Design CS6 - PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator immediately shuts down after startup

    I'm troubleshooting for a customer who have Adobe Creative Suite Design CS6.
    His programs suddenly wont start, they launches and starts to read plug-ins and open up a workspace, but then without warning/error it shuts down. no log, error message or anything...
    It's the same for PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator both in 32 bit and 64.
    He is running the suit on a Hp EliteBook 8560p with Windows 7 Pro x64 sp1.
    He also have had a Wacom Bamboo CTE 650 penpad installed before.
    This is what I've done so far:
    * Uninstall the whole suit and reinstalled it again (Done this 3-4 times, manually deleted regestry-files, used CClean and other cleaning tools)
    * Deleted the wacom-drivers with controlpanel tool, Windows driver Clean tool, CClean and manually deleted registry-keys and files.
    * Uninstall Anti-Virus software and replaced it with another, inactivated AV and Windows Firewall.
    * Deleted register-files for the suits and "reregister" them again.
    * Full patch both for windows and adobe softwares.
    * Reboot between each step
    Any suggestions?
    I have to add that adobe support for this $2000 software really sucks...

    Problem solved!
    I went through all the folders associated with adobe cs6 and renamed them (one by one) so they would be recreated.
    I did this before but seems like I missed this specific one.
    Anyway, when I renamed the folder "SLCache" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\ and then ran the applications one by one as administrator I was prompted to enter a serial-key again and log in to my Adobe-ID.
