Uninstall and install again Messaging

Hello
I got problem with my messaging App. That comes with the palm pre (the built in one)Sometimes it works and sometime it dosen't.sometime I get messages and sometime I don't. I would like to uninstall and then to install it again. Is it possible ? If yes how ? And maybe someone got other suggestions how to fix the problem.

What part of messaging is not working; SMS, MMS, IM? Your carrier controls SMS and MMS, if you are having intermittent issue this could be a carrier side delay issue. IM and MMS require an Internet connection so you must be showing 3G by you signal bars to use either service. Remember your device does not have an Internet connection through your carrier when you are on a phone call.
The messaging is part of the devices ROM, and there is no way to re-install this app

ok Can I tell when it is stopped or if it didn't work. It is still saying the same thing. I can't see a progress bar or anything. Do you have any idea how long it usually takes. Just curious so I know i din't make another mistake

I bought an iphone 4s. After plugging it via usb to my computer itunes demanded to update version to 10.3 or higher. I uninstalled itunes, downloaded latest version (11.0.2) and during installation process on "activating services" it shows error message: "installation failed, verify administrator priviliges" which i have because i sign in as my pc administrator. Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

I just downloaded and installed the 64bit itunes, but I get an error 2 "Apple application support required to run Itunes, uninstall and install again" I did that twice and got the same result

Try following the steps in that article, which will have you remove iTunes and the other bundled Apple software. Then download and install iTunes 10.4.1 for Windows (64 bit).

HT1923 I am trying to run iTunes and have been advised that i must uninstall and install again. However, in Control Panel, I don't have the option the uninstall. HELP!!!

I am trying to run iTunes. When I do I get this message "Apple Application Support was not found. Apple Application Support required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes and install iTunes again. Error 2 (Wiindows error 2)" . However, in Control Panel, there isn't an option to remove or unistall iTunes, only an option to repair.
Now, when I dowloaded iTunes, i saved it to my flash drive so that i can have it with me whereever I go. I am not sure if the problem stems from there. I also did this so as not to save it on my work computer but still be able to run it from my flash drive.
Please HELP. I miss my music and podcast.

My iPad 2 is not recognized by the latest version of iTunes. But when I uninstall and install again, the device is recognized. I dont want to do this uninstall-reinstall process everytime. Is there anyway to solve this?

I have to uninstall and reinstall iTunes just so my iPad2 will be recognized. I don't want to do this every single time. What is the problem? My iPhone4 isn't recognized too unless I reinstall iTunes.

Hey thanks ingo2711 :) for some reason it worked and my iPhone is been recognised! Yay! Ha ha :) I did what u suggested and removed iTunes completely from my computer then I also restarted my computer and proceeded to reinstall iTunes. I don't know if it helped but I also reset all settings on my iPhone as well :) I'm so happy right now lol thanks again :)

That message is usually a sign that you tried to roll back to an earlier build of iTunes, but occasionally I've seen it connected to a new upgrade. This technique should fix things.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

When I load firefox it loads it twice I have uninstalled and installed again same problem

Fire Fox loads twice on when I start it up I am using Windows XP Service pack three installed

* Use Restore or Maximize in the right-click context menu of the Taskbar icon to set focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the Firefox window.
* Open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

I have a firefox desktop version 6.0.2 on my winXP but on add on site it says i have 3.5.3. I have tried to uninstall and install again. didn't work. What is the problem?

when I got to the add-on site and try to download an add-on it says I have version 3,5,3 and it is not compatible. Tough I recently updated to 6.0.2. When I open the about window I can see I have 6.0.2 version.

I recently updated to OS X Mavericks. No complaints, other than my itunes. I am not sure if it worked immediately after I downloaded the new software but I can't be sure I used it. Mostly curious about how to actually uninstall and install again without loosing anything. I have an external, that was my first step so I might be set. Any other suggestions to combat my corrupt version of itunes less drastic than uninstalling and reinstalling?

Hi, reinstalling iTunes should not mess with your music et cetera (however some users have suggested on here that it did), but keeping a backup is always recommended anyway.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Dear all, I have a Problem to open some Files in Lightroom with the dialog "editing with Photoshop CS6". If I will do this with a RAW File, and Photoshop is not open I becomes the error Message "Error: 1, please uninstall and install application again".
If Photoshop open it works?! But when I will open any JPEG, TIFF or PSD File I have always this error message!

My attempt at a solution:

My Solution: I found the Problem, the Lightroom Katalog have a Problem. I must create a new one and the Problem was solved.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
