Uninstall Captivate 2? Including Serial Number

To uninstall Captivate 2, I've read you simply go to
Add/Remove Programs from the control panel (Windows version). This
uninstalls Captivate 2, but this does NOT remove the serial number
from the machine.
How can I perform a FULL uninstall? Note: I have also deleted
the Adobe Captivate folder after uninstalling, but it still has the
serial number attached to the computer when I reinstall. Any ideas?

I stand to be corrected here, but I think the option may be
disabled because of the type of license in use. For example, if you
have a training license, there is no single serial number per PC. I
think it's more for a "group" of activations.

Trying to install acrobat. Entered in the Redemption Code and it says the purchase has not been activated. Best buy says it has and even included serial number on the receipt to use for activation. Still doesnt work

trying to install acrobat. I purchased this at Best Buy. The receipt contains an activated serial number to use when setting up the software. I entered this and it said invalid Serial. Because Adobe also gives me a redemption code inside the package to receive a serial online I tried this and it also says inactive redemption code. I called Best Buy and they say it has been activated on their end and the issue must be taken up with ADOBE.

I'm afraid the serial number of the DMP is not tracked in the software, so it's not possible to check it remotely. Your only option will be physically looking at the sticker on each DMP

Error in Serial number while doing MB1B

Dear SAP Experts,
I am facing the error of serial number already exist when I am doing transfer posting using 309 movt type (material to material). To explain you in detail, we have maintained two material codes for same material for two different plants. so We did STO process and received the material at second plant. now we want to transfer the entire quantity to another material code including serial number and for that we are doing MB1B with 309 movt type, but we are unable to do and system says error
Message no. IS121 - Serial number XXX already exist for material YYYYYYY123
Please suggest the possible solutions.

I purchased Design Standard CS6 the entire package. I downloaded and installed but I was continually having problems with Adobe Acrobat Pro. I tried updating to the newest version but it only made the problems worse (acrobat was super slow and constantly not responding). So i decided to try to uninstall and then reinstall the program. Well I uninstalled, and then attempted to reinstall ONLY the adobe acrobat pro but it says my serial number (which is for design standard) will not work. Since Acrobat Pro is included in the suite, i thought this wouldnt be a problem. Is there anyway to get around this without uninstalling the entire design standard and reinstalling everything? I only need to reinstall acrobat pro.

You need to reinstall Acrobat the the Creative Suite, you cannot download it is a separate application and install it that way because it will be looking for a serial number relative to being a singly purchased application.

If you did not deactivate the software before uninstalling then you should remember to do that in the future should you decide to uninstall again. If you contact Adobe support thru chat they can help with deactivating the original installation.

IIRC PS CS6 is not Cross platform. It takes a different license key code for each platform. A License key for Windows won't work on a Mac and a key for a Mac won't work on Windows. You'll need to buy another copy/License for Mac OS X.
At one time Adobe did allow you to switch platforms by paying them some money and getting a Mac license key code which I think then Deactivated the Windows license key.
IIRC the CC version does allow you to install on EITHER platform. But only one platform at a time. You can't have one copy on Windows and another on a Mac. Adobe does allow you to install on 2 computers with one license key but it must be on the same platform (Operating System) and both computers and or install of PS CC can't be used at the same time.

Yes you can avail the discounted prices even you are upgrading the product just for two users. You can use the serial number for your Creative Suite 5 product.
