Uninstall CS6 script for Mac?

I accidentally dragged Photoshop CS6 beta to the trash on my mac and deleted it. Now I need to install it but I can't due to it not being properly uninstalled. Could I get a CS6 beta uninstall script? I'm running OSX Lion 10.7.3.

How do I buy CS6 Standard for Mac from the Adobe website? There doesn't appear to be an option for Mac although all the FAQs insist the suite will work on a Mac. Bought a Windows version by mistake and had it refunded, the Adobe help dude said you had to add something to the basket during checkout but can't find the way into that either. Is it just me or is the system completely rubbish?...

Uninstalling IE 6 for mac

I have made an effort to uninstall IE 6 for mac. I don't seem to have an uninstall program, and the files I've found, mostly under "Microsoft" are scanty and few and not, I think, substantial enough to take the program out. I have used "Hotmail" and "Outlook" for some time and am closing my account with Microsoft. Can you offer some help as to how I can rid myself of this software?

I believe I downloaded it at about that time. I don't seem to have a disc and don't remember ever having one. My best estimate is that I have removed part of the software and still have some left, or the software is in places in the computer that I may not see. I can't find a disc for it, so I am in a quandry as to how to remove the software.

Problems with Freehand Illustrator CS4 script for Macs

A couple of us just downloaded the new Freehand to Illustrator CS4 script for Macs that was released on 5/17/10. Sometimes it works okay, but more often than not we get errors like 'ERROR: 1, Access is denied'. If we instead just open the Freehand file, the file comes in fine. What have been other people's experiences using this new script?

Is the problem there only at the time of conversion or even the FH files are not opening after running the script
Here is what I have done and may be you can follow the exact steps :
1) Create a folder FH on Desktop and paste only the FH files in the folder( My folder does not contain any other file apart from FH files)
2) Create a Folder AI on Desktop and keep it empty
3) File-> Scripts-> FreehandToAI
4) Select the source folder( FH)
5) Now select the destination folder(AI)
It gives the message after conversion "N freehand files are converted to AI".

How to install Photoshop CS6 Extended for Mac with no DVD drive?

I have bought the Photoshop CS6 Extended for Students for my new Mac and realized that I don't have a DVD drive to install it on. Is there a way that I can install the program without the cd? I have looked into the "free trial then activate" route and Adobe no longer offers a free trial for Photoshop CS6 Extended.

I'm getting authentication error when connecting to Roadrunner through their dial up service. I'm told I need a dial up script. The URL they provided leads to a file not found error.
I would also appreciate knowing where I would put this script once I get it.

There is no dial-up script for RR. There's a dial-up script for the modem you are using, and that's selected in the modem configuration through Network preferences.
Authentication errors occur when the userid and/or password provided for the dial-up account are not correct. They are not caused by the dial-up script itself unless RR uses some sort of non-standard authentication dialog. It's been a long time since I ever used their dial-up, but I don't recall they used a non-standard dialog at the time.
In earlier versions of OS X it was possible to open the dial-up terminal manually so you could observe the remote dialog and enter responses to the dial-in procedure. You could then save the resulting dialog into a login script that would be used once the dial-up connection was made. Unfortunately, I haven't used dial-up in several years, so I'm afraid I'm not much help in this regard. You could do some exploring in Mac Help from the Finder's Help menu to see if you find a help article.

How to uninstall AVG LinkScanner for Mac

After a bit of an ordeal trying to remove AVG LinkScanner for Mac, heres a bit of help.
My trash started prompting me for my password whenever I placed an item in it after installing either AVG LinkScanner or MacKeeper, both of which i have now, at long last, successfully removed.
AVG Link scanner was an absolute nightmare to uninstall. Instead of simply dragging and dropping into the trash like every other application I’ve ever uninstalled, you have to use a separate uninstaller application. After spending 30 minutes on the phone to AVG customer support, who were actually very helpful, I was finally given a link to which I could download the uninstaller.
In the hope that this may save anyone else the headache it gave me, and the time wasted I'm going to supply the link below to which you can download the uninstaller for AVG LinkScanner if like me, you decide it's annoying and you don't actually want it.

Most forum members recommend against it's use. It has a long rather sordid history of using aggressive advertising that often involved stretching the truth. In the beginning the code was unpolished and could do more harm than good. I guess I'd have to ask you why you think you need an application such as MacKeeper? I am trying to help one of my clients who is a registered charity. In 2009 they purchased a Mac computer and ran their software on it happily including Dreamweaver to design and maintain their website. Earlier this year they made the mistake of upgrading the OS to Mountain Lion from Snow Leapard and lost the ability to use any of their productivity software. They purchased and installed Windows 2010 (Bootcamp still dual boots) from a Disk and purchased a charity version of Adobe CS6 and asked me to install it for them.
With the e-mail open showing the link to the download, we found the right page and tried to Download CS6 for Mac. Clicking on the download button - nothing happened - no akamai downloader - nothing. Any help, hints or tips would be gratefully received. Many thanks Paul.

Adobe Illustrator CS6 disk bought for Mac OS but when I run the DVD the disk appears but there is no viewable install content. I can't see an install.app file and the program is not automatically running. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you able at all to execute the install file manually?
You can always try downloading tye installation instead of using the disc. Your serial number from the disc will work for the download.

Quicken '04-'07 won't run under Lion. Your only option is to restore your Snow Leopard or earlier backup/clone or Time Machine backup and use that with Quicken. Do note that you should be able to import your old data file to Essentials, but that's a WAG and you need to inquire at https://qlc.intuit.com/app/full_page#

Trouble installing and uninstalling Flash Player for Mac 10.4.11

I have a Macbook Intel Core Duo Version 10.4.11
I am running Firefox 3.6.13
The problem is when I download the new version of Flash and I go to press the install button, it does nothing.
I have tried to uninstall my old version of Flash which is 9.0 but again it does nothing when I press the uninstall button.
Can someone please help?

Hi, When you refer to a "button", is this a button on your Mac? If so then that is difficult for me to advise you on since I don't use a Mac. I don't know how the Uninstall file or the Install file works. All I can relate to is the PC. With the PC, the Uninstaller can be downloaded and SAVED to the Desktop. Likewise the Installer. Then all browser windows are closed and ran from the Desktop.
How this works in the Mac is what I don't know.
