Uninstall DS 3.0 also uninstalls BOE XI 3.0 MYSQL.
Hi All,
I had an issue where the DS 3.0 repo was pointing to the default BOE XI 3.0 MYSQL installation.
The issue was when I updagred DS 3.0 to DS 3.1 I went to uninstall DS 3.0, the uninstallation processes also went and removed MYSQL that was installed fro BOE XI 3.0.
Could you please confim that this is the correct workings of the unistallation processes of DS 3.0.
Thank you
Kind regards
Hai.
I can confirm that this is what will happen during the uninstall. That bug did cost us some grieve. Fixed in 3.1 (DI 12.1).

I need to uninstall Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 14.0 r0
I need to uninstall Adobe® Flash® Player Installer/Uninstaller 14.0 r0 but have looked everywhere for how to do this & can not find out how to do this can someone please help? I am using A Sony Vaio, Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, I use Chrome Version 36.0.1985.143 m.
I want to get it off of my system because ever since I installed it I have had problems with Chrome loading it does not want to load then if I restart my comptuter & I click on chrome 5 windows open up at one time a white box appears saying "Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer browser version of google chrome. Some features may be available. Please specify a different profile directory or use a different version of chrome" then if you click ok it shuts all the windows down. I have figured a way to get one window to stay open so I can use chrome, now I do have other browser I can use but I do not like them at all & do not have a flash player since mine is built in with Chrome. So on to the other problem that began as soon as I downloaded this & I understand it may not be this but I still want to get it off of my computer. I also have been having trouble with my flash player error messages: saying it has stopped working constantly, it says upgrade flash text, a plug in shock wave flash isn't responding then in (stop plug in) it wants you to hit. I have run 3 different Mallware programs through my computer just in case that was one question that was going to be ask. No other programs jave been downloaded wither.
I am not very good with computers so I have to come to places like this for help & I really have to have help explaining what to do because do not know much about computers other then getting on them & surfing the web & some basic things. When chromes message said specify a different profile directory that went right over m head. So that should give you an idea where I am coming from. I want to thank you in advance & hope I have made sense in what I have written I tried to give all the information that I could.Your screenshot of task manager clarifies things.
When I replied, I had been looking at the screenshot of the desktop from the original poster, which shows the uninstaller executable and it's properties. That executable doesn't install anything -- it can just be dragged to the trash; however, that didn't completely align with the behaviors either of you were describing, and we've been trying to figure out what you were talking about. It wasn't making a lot of sense to me, and it's not a question that I've seen come up before, at least not articulated this way.
FlashUtil32_XX_XX_XX_XX.exe is the sandbox broker for Internet Explorer. You can read more about the sandbox work here: Flash Player Security with Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10
The description listed in Task Manager is a bug, and the source of the confusion. We've been doing a lot of work modernizing our build systems, and this is fallout from that work. This is something I'd like to see cleaned up, but it's pretty low on the list of priorities.
The broker service is invoked when Internet Explorer is running in Protected Mode. On my Windows 7 machine running IE 10, running Flash content in Internet Explorer with Protected Mode enabled causes the broker service to be invoked (this is probably true for previous versions as well, but I didn't test them). If I disable Protected Mode and restart Internet Explorer, the broker is not invoked, which is expected.
To disable Protected Mode, launch Internet Explorer and choose security. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode. Internet Explorer will restart, and you should be able to verify that the broker is no longer invoked when loading content with Flash Player.
I've included a screenshot showing the expected processes in both scenarios below. As the Flash Player ActiveX control is loaded into an Internet Explorer process, you'll see the child explorer.exe process listed, which hosts the Flash ActiveX control in the process list.
Sandboxing the Flash Player plug-in is an important security mitigation intended to increase the cost of successfully developing and deploying malware. While it's not a panacea, it significantly raises the bar for attackers. As I'm sure you've read in the news and trade literature, the threat landscape has evolved significantly over the last few years, and modern security threats and their mitigations are a necessary reality. New mitigations typically come with some additional processing overhead. The overhead varies based on the architectural choices made by the particular browser vendors, but the overhead in IE is pretty reasonable.
We haven't published a blog post specific to IE, but if you're interested in the implementation details, the sandbox architecture is similar to what we did with Protected Mode for Firefox on Windows. The Flash Player process that handles untrusted content runs at Low Integrity, which restricts access to critical system resources in the event that you encounter malware designed to take control of the Flash Player process. Access to system resources is negotiated through a Medium Integrity broker process. Without Protected Mode, the Flash Player process handling untrusted content runs at Medium Integrity, making it easier for malware to escalate privileges from a hijacked process. Depending on the functionality in play, a lot of message-passing can take place between IE, the broker and Flash Player. We've effectively doubled the number of messages that get passed, plus put a bunch of validation checks in, and all of that consumes CPU. It also makes your web browsing activity more secure.
Some desktop applications (Yahoo Messenger, for example) also use the ActiveX version of Flash Player installed on your machine. This could explain why you see Flash Player and the broker invoked unexpectedly. We're also aware of an issue on Vista where the broker doesn't always exit as expected. In that instance (and on WinXP), I'd highly recommend that people use Google Chrome for web browsing, as Google has extended some security mitigations that would only be available to Internet Explorer users running in newer versions of Windows, and it doesn't suffer from this specific issue with the broker. -
This is the message I keep getting. Help me please.

TOTAL, minus reserved VM space 373.3MYou installed the "Genieo" rootkit. The product is a fraud, and the developer knowingly distributes an uninstaller that doesn't work. I suggest the tedious procedure below to disable Genieo. This procedure may leave a few small files behind, but it will permanently deactivate the rootkit (as long as you never reinstall it.)
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data. You must know how to restore from a backup even if the system becomes unbootable. If you don't know how to do that, or if you don't have any backups, stop here and ask for guidance.
Step 1
In the Applications folder, there should be an item named "Genieo". Select it and open the Finder Info window. If it shows that the Version is less than 2.0, download and install the current version from the genieo.com website. This may seem paradoxical, since the goal is to remove it, but you'll be saving yourself some trouble as well as the risk of putting the system in an unusable state.
There should be another application in the same folder named "Uninstall Genieo". After updating Genieo, if necessary, launch "Uninstall Genieo" and follow the prompts to remove the "newspaper-style home page." Restart the computer.
This step does not completely inactivate Genieo.
Step 2
Don't take this step unless you completed Step 1, including the restart, without any error messages. If you couldn't complete Step 1, stop here and ask for instructions.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/Frameworks/GenieoExtra.framework
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.
If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder should open with an item named "GenieoExtra.framework" selected. Move that item to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your administrator password.
Move each of these items to the Trash in the same way:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.update.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.engine.plist
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.plist
/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.client.plist
/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.genieoinnovation.macextension.client/u/usr/lib/libgenkit.dylib/usr/lib/libgenkitsa.dylib
/usr/lib/libimckit.dylib
/usr/lib/libimckitsa.dylib~/Library/Application Support/com.genieoinnovation.Installer~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.download.plist
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.update.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those listed above, move them as well. There's no need to restart after each one. Some of these items will be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
Restart and empty the Trash. Don't try to empty the Trash until you have restarted.
Step 3
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including ones called "Genieo" or "Omnibar," and any that have the word "Spigot" or "InstallMac" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Your web browser(s) should now be working, and you should be able to reset the home page and search engine. If not, stop here and post your results.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install this software. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad has a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If youever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Genieo developer has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. It must be said that this failure of oversight is inexcusable and has seriously compromised the value of Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You cannot rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
Finally, be forewarned that when Genieo is mentioned on this site, the developer sometimes shows up under the name "Genieo support." If that happens, don't believe anything he says, but feel free to tell him what you think of his scam. -
Firefox was working prior to updating to version 17. Then when I click it, it won't start. I tried to start in Safe Mode, also Reset Mode. I tried to uninstall version 17, and do a clean install. Also, I cannot run an older version of Firefox since there is something wrong with my System Restore which isn't keeping a copy. I have been doing things for sometime now. The addons don't seem to be the problem meaning it will start briefly once or twice, but it won't keep working. It just says to start in Safe Mode or Reset, it works once, then same problem reappears. Thanks. also, i've looked at the Profiles, but when I do, it also has a problem starting so I can't create a new profile. I've also tried running Firefox 14. Same thing. Everything is working same way. Any help is badly needed? I have also tried to run malware software. I can't do the memtest. Its too hard for me to try, but I don't think it's my memory. I stopped using FF since it's taken so long to try to fix. I don't won't to do a complete restore of my computer, but it sounds like my only option. What could possibly be wrong? Do I need to show you a HIjack this file. Thanks.

Deactivate/Uninstall CS6 (but not also CC) on Mac
I have an old CS6 Design Stardard installation and also a CC individual plan.
Now i want uninstall CS6 Design Stardard and i deactivate but all CS6 software still run!
How this is possibile? Could be that CS6 see the activation of CC?
Anyway i want totally uninstall all CS6 Design Stardard?
How to do this? Logically i want only run with CC software!
Many thanks!I try to unistall using /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/
The result is that i see again Acrobat X Pro, Indesign CS6 and Photoshop CS6 (no Illustrator CS6).
Why this result? How to solve? -
Need help, upgraded Lightroom via creative cloud, since installing it will not open. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the programme, but it is still not running.
Ger"will not open"?
Explain in more detail. What do you see? What don't you see?
And also, what is your operating system, and what version of Lightroom are we talking about? -
Sorry for the long title. I thought I was actually asking the question. Why can't I update my LR 5.4 to LR CC? I have an iMac 27inch running Mavericks. I have lots of room on my hard drive and have 16 GB of RAM.
Long titles seem to be happening a lot since the last forum software update so it's not just you!
There is no Lightroom CC. You get the latest version (currently 5.4) with Creative Cloud, and so the CC app is correct in stating that your LR is up to date. Unlike Photoshop and most of the other Creative Cloud applications, Lightroom is not branded as "CC" because it's also available separately as a stand-alone perpetual licence product. When 5.5 (or 6.0 - or even a CC-only version) are released in the future, the CC app should prompt you to update and so in the meantime you're good to go.

After installing XI Pro?

help me
Sounds like an infection on the machine, not a FF issue. Run a virus scan by going to your anti-virus program yourself. NEVER click on any pop-ups that warn you of a virus even the red "x" to close it. Viruses can spoof the look and feel of legitimate dialogs and can even activate if clicking the "x" instead of closing. Simply ignore them, then run a scan manually.
Also, I've seen some recent redirects that send you to a spoof site that looks like WinXP "My Computer" page and shows that you have "viruses" with a click to scan or clean option. But this isn't My Computer, it's just a web page designed to infect you. Just close that page or tab. -
Please any assistance would be appreciated thanks. The Photo Downloader doesn't open up automatically but it did when CS6 was still on my system.
dcooka,
Thank you for replying. I hope you get some answers from Apple... Please report back if you do.

BOE XI 3.1 Mysql database connection jar
Hi All,
I am new learner for BOE.I installed Business Object Enterpraise 12.0.
I have created the report WebI rich client and saved in local path, and also some value insert into mysql database table.
I need to know how its stored into mysql database.
which jar file is used for creating the connection with mysql database .
Thanks,
Yousuf
Edited by: yousufalam on Dec 31, 2010 12:40 PMThe connection objects are store in the CI_APPOBJECTS repository table with SI_KIND='Metadata.DataConnection' . The connection properties are stored as property bags along with your objects.
Unfortunately I have just found a reference that this kind of access in not fully supported though and you may have to use the Universe Designer SDK (COM based)
Change password of Universe connection using Java SDK?
Since you are working with the SDK it will make sense to post your questions here:

Licensing of this product has stop working (since uninstall using your uninstaller)
Since couple of months ago (May be june or July) i have notifications below when i want to use Adobe Premiere Pro cs4
"Licensing of this product has stop working,
This product has has encounter problem which requeire that you restart your computer before it can be launched.
...bla bla bla....
error:5
http://www.adobe.com/support/"
I know this happened since i uninstalled "adobe reader" using Your Uninstaller software. This software notified me to choose delete adobe completely. Then i choose yes, so all my adobe apllication were deleted.
Then i installed again using cd that i bought from local distributor here.
UNFORTUNATELY, My Adobe Premiere Pro were not working.
T.T
For couple of weeks i looked for the solution on google. i have tried many things,
i have read and done everything what explained in http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405970.html and http://go.adobe.com/kb/ts_cpsid_49485_en-us,
i have searched this problem in this forum too few months ago, and coould find any solution.
And now i really want to know why this happened, I have reinstall again and again with no success, :'(
thanksBeyond the steps in the Adobe KB, and those outlined in other threads, there is not much that any of us can do.
I, and many others, have found that Adobe Customer Service (not Technical Service) is good and quick, at handling licensing issues. The last time that I needed them, it took all of 5 mins., including hold-time, to get a licensing issue fixed. Now, that was some years ago, and things seemed to have deteriorated, Adobe has made a pledge to improve C/S to how it used to be. Have not used them recently, so have no current comments, but I would call them. Remember, Customer Service, and not Technical Service.
Good luck, and hope that they can help you.

This is the same problem with a new symptom. Following the Adobe troubleshooting process I uninstalled ver 9,0,45,0 of Flash plugin. I noticed that Flash ver 10 was listed--this is the version that failed to install correctly. I tried to uninstall it, and the Adobe uninstaller said to close Firefox, but Firefox was closed.
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
*Firefox 10.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data because all profile folders will be removed.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

How to completely uninstall HP driver if uninstaller option is not available
Please someone can guide me the process of uninstalling HP driver without the uninstaller option. Should I just delete the HP folder inside the Apps folder? I think there is a proper procedure for this....I am having an issue with my HP scanhet G3110, it fails to open the device's session...the first driver was installed from the CD which I should have not done it. That might be the reason why I am having this problem, no option for uninstallation and have tried already overiding the old driver with the latest driver but there's no option for uninstalling it.
Thanks SparklesJen1,
The uninstaller won't run because of the missing plugins. Uninstaller.plugin and other plugins. I did accidentally installed the driver intended for 10.5 OS on my macpro mid 2010 running Lion which I should not have done. Since I can not uninstall it, I tried using CleanApp. Then Installed the driver intended for Lion then update with the later OS then the patch update, but still scanner won't open. My hp scanner works perfectly with the bootcamp and with my macbookpro mid 2012 because i did not install the driver from the CD. Now I got the Uninstaller option back after the installation of the later driver but still the problem is I am getting the error saying Uninstaller.plugin, UninstallSelectDevice.plugin, UninstallProress.plugin, UninstallCleanup.plugin, Summary.plugin, are missing but when I tried to show the package content of the Uninstaller, those plugins are available inside the plugin folder.
