Uninstall help needed. Cloud help needed

Bought cloud
Application manager wouldn't work.
Was given link to CS6 Master Collection to download. At 91% install, it froze.
Tried to uninstall using adobe CS cleaner tool so that I could try again. No good.
Is there a way on UNinstalling CS6 folders without using the cleaner tool?
Uninstall function in each folder wouldn't work.
Can I just trash the folders?
Are there other hidden files I need to trash?
WOuld like to expunge all and have another go.
Help.

Hi Tim,
Not sure if you are on Windows or Mac but I would test in a different account with administrative rights. I would try running the uninstall from
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7)
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)
if the option is available. You might try running the install again from the different account. Just removing the files doesn't help with the registry and the installation is pretty involved so some kind of manual method should be a last resort. Might also want to contact phone support for help too.

    Did you check your security software (firewall)?
    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

    I've recently installed Firefox 8 alongside Firefox 3.x using a different profile. However, when I try to open a link from Outlook, it totally resets my profile. I didn't have this problem with Firefox 5 alongside 3. I have FF3 installed in the main Firefox program files folder, and Firefox 8 in a sub-folder within that one (FF5 also has an installation folder in there).
    In the options when I check the box to set Firefox 8 as the default, I get the following error:

    I should mention, this only happens when launching Firefox. If the browser is already open, it'll open the link in the current window just fine.

    Thanks, I've done that, however the problem is when I try to open a link from an external program (like Outlook, DestroyTwitter, etc) that launches Firefox when it wasn't already running. For some reason it's getting hung up since I have more than one version installed and thus launches Firefox (sometimes 3, sometimes 8) and each time it appears to completely reset the profile, ignoring the one I had set.
    My "FF8" profile is current set as default in the profiles.ini.
    I don't understand why it keeps trying to load the uninstall\helper.exe when I try to set 8 as the default in the options menu.

  • Elements/Premiere 12 PC stopped working after trial version of Lightroom CC was installed / and uninstalled - I need help deactivating prior to rebuilding

    Dear forum
    After I installed a 90 trial version of Lightroom CC.  I had an issue with it so uninstalled it, since then I have had Error dialog pop up after Win7 x64 Ultimate startup; and also every session, with Photoshop elements / premier 12,
    I constantly get dynamiclinkmanager has stopped working.
    ElementsAutoanalzer has stopped working,
    and Adobe premier Elements 12 has stopped working
    I'm fed up trying to resolve this issue which I believe was down to Lightroom CC installation, so I now want to upgrade from W7 Ult x64 to Win 8.1 x64 and reinstall all my apps.
    However I need to deactivate Elements 12 / Premiere 12 on this PC before I rebuild / upgrade, but cannot, Premiere 12 does not load at all, and while Elements 12 loads, there is no option to deactivate the licence on this PC
    This is my 2nd PC, I have Elements / premiere 12 also on my w8.1 laptop, which is fully working, so I don't want to touch that. I never tried Lightroom CC on my laptop.
    Any ideas as to how to deactivate, I tried Adobe Sign in, but there is no option or link to email or call them, the support flowchart directs me here only.

    As the crash report says - your outdated video card driver is crashing. You need to update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website (AMD/ATI in this case).

  • Quictime won't install or uninstall HELP i need my music

    Okay so I've trawled the internet looking for a solution and I have ended up here, here it goes.
    My iTunes would not open and a window appeared every time I tried saying 'iTunes has stopped working windows has closed the programme to prevent damage to your computer' so after various fiddling I decided to uninstall iTunes completely and to start fresh so i uninstall iTunes no problem but quicktime was it so willing to leave every time i try to uninstall, repair or open it it appear with a window saying 'QuickTimePlayer.Resources' is not a valid short file name , not knowing the technincal lingo this was jibberish to me. so ignoring this i attempted to install itunes and it was fine until two thirds of the way in a window appears saying an unexpected error has occured error code:2869 so i click ok another window appears'the installation od quictime did not complete successfully.iTunes requires Quictime.' once again i click ok, now i have come to the conclusion Quictime is my problem however where do i go from here?
    PLEASE HELP! i have been without wokring iTunes for 2 weeks! and therefore cant sync my itouch please please please help!

    'QuickTimePlayer.Resources' is not a valid short file name, this would seem to indicate something in QT was moved around maybe to a different drive, whatever?
    I'm not familiar with Vista but based on the error code:2869, Microsoft indicates it's do to permissions.

    So it appears that the first thing that needs to be done is get user accounts straitened out, or else your probably not going to get QT to uninstall or install

    You don't say which operating system you're using, but both CS5.5 and CS6 use installation and uninstall routines. You cannot just delete the files.
    If you can't find the programs in Control Panel in Windows or the Applications folder on a Mac, you can remove them using the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool.

    I have read that when uninstalling iTunes and related components it has to be done in a correct order. What happens if I didn't uninstall in the correct order? My computer seems unaffected, but I would still like to know. Can anyone help?

    If you have uninstalled all Apple components then again, don't worry. The potential side effects of not using the recommended order are as given above, either you have trouble uninstalling a component, or have trouble as an when you want to reinstall. You could check the folder locations listed in the second box of the user tip to see if everything was deleted that should have been, and delete anything that remains if not.

    Good morning, I downloaded a trial of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Professional & I've decided not to purchase at this time.     You need to be logged in as the administrator to uninstall the package. Sometimes you have to reinstall before you can uninstall. Even after you uninstall, you may have to use the MS clean up utility mentioned in other topics and reinstall Reader (the uninstall will like break Reader).
    Strange that you have been running AA8 Pro trial. It has not been available for almost a year.

    Firefox (20.0.1) say need to update QuickTime. Properties show current version 7.6.4. Update button takes to download 7.7.3. It downloads ok, but will not install, says newer version already installed. Didn't find newer update than 7.7.3. Tried to uninstall QuickTime, says have more current version, need uninstall newer first. Tried Windows Vista help, looked through Community questions, still unable to find resolution. Supposed newer version not show in Programs, only updates can find are Windows. Not tech savvy enough to go further without guidance. If no fix available, suggestion for alternate program that does same job would be very welcome!

    An update to QuickTime would not install on my PC; I kept getting a message that it "ecountered an error". I tried installing the update manually; I was told a newer version was already installed, and the installation could not be completed. QuickTime wouldn't even open; I got the same message about a newer version, so I tried running the uninstaller, both from the Start Menu shortcut and from within Control Panel - neither worked. The uninstaller told me it encountered an error & couldn't continue.
    I ran the Microsoft Fix-It tool that Dianne 13 posted the link to, and it uninstalled QuickTime without any problem whatsoever, and the new version of QuickTime was able to then install.

    I'm using Windows XP, need to use Firefox as browser for work. I clicked on the icon which doesn't open, tried to run it in safe mode, no go. Can't bring it up, can't remove it through the control panel add or delete programs option. Can't uninstall it: setup message advises to close Firefox, but I can't see where it might be open. Can't download a more recent version, because I get the same message about closing open Firefox windows. please help.
    This has been consistent.

    Do a clean (re)install:
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
