I have 2 indesigns installed on my PC
one is current, and one is 9.2.2 - i cannot find this software in the system though (?). I mean it is not in the software installed list, and Использование CC Cleaner Tool для устранения неполадок при установке | CC, CS3-CS6 doesn't help
how to uninstall it?
CC application cannot help in this issue

use the adobe uninstaller to uninstall it.
if you can't find the uninstaller, reinstall id 9 to enable the uninstaller.

  • Uninstall InDesign CS2

    Hi
Can anyone please advise as to how manually uninstall InDesign CS2 and Version Cue CS2 on a mac? Adobe help gives instruction to uninstall Creative Suite CS2 wholesale in this link:
Manually remove Adobe Creative Suite (2.x on Mac OS X)
and gives a huge list of files to remove, like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. How does one determine which files are required to keep for other things, like stuff for later CS versions?
Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.
    Many thanks.

I didn't say that the document is incorrect. But it seems to instruct you how to delete the whole CS2 suite and in particular the sub files/folders relating to the suite. The only note it gives regarding these sub files/folders is that anything with an asterisk next to the folder in the list might be required by other applications, and it only pertains to the Application Support in the User's Library and the Application Support in Library. There is also reminder to keep an eye on fonts required.
However, if you want to keep, say, CS2 Illustrator, but not CS2 InDesign, how do you determine which of the sub files/folders the document lists to trash are necessary to keep for that individual program's requirement? For instance, I assume (even if wrongly) that some of the files such as Application/Adobe Help Centre, Application/Utilities/Adobe Utilities and other cache and preference folders are still required to run CS2 Illustrator.
It might be a very straight forward albeit methodical task to go through dumping folders and files listed, but I'm just being very cautious in finding out earlier rather than later, what NOT to throw away in case it may cause problems once the files are dumped. I don't mean to cause offense!

  • Help with uninstalling InDesign CS2

    A month ago, I installed CS4 over CS2.
Then, InDesign CS4 did not work because of the conflict with AMD chip in my computer. So, uisng the original CS2 disk, all programs were uninstalled EXCEPT FOR INDESIGN CS2. The reason is that I wanted to use InDesign CS2 until the problem with CS4 is fixed.
Today, after installing InDesign CS4 update (it was a sort of plug), InDesign became working just fine. So I want to remove InDesign CS2. The problem was that I was not able to remove InDesign CS2 by Add or Remove Programs or with the original CS2 disk.
Please advise me how to uninstall InDesign CS2. In

  • How to uninstall InDesign

How do you uninstall InDesign.  I had the trial, but threw out the entire adobe folder.  So now I'm paying the $49.99 monthly fee and want to start over.  For some reason I can't install the entire InDesign software.

On OSX the uninstallers are in the Adobe folder in Application Support. The folder you trashed had an alias over to its uninstaller, so unless you trashed the Adobe support folder it should still be there:
    user:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Uninstall
And I think you will need to run the uninstallers first before you are able to reinstall. Uninstallers end with the  .app extension and there will one for each application you have previously installed. You can unistall and keep application preferences.

  • Deactivation and uninstalling InDesign CS3

I need to uninstall InDesign CS3, but I can't start the application to deactivate it. Some font is misusing. Can I just drag it to the trash? Where do I find the uninstaller for CS3? Thanks in advance, Marie

Did you see Willi's reply? It isn't showing up on the web page.
Are you trying to move the application to a new computer? You don't really need to uninstall to do that, and uninstalling won't deactivate in any case, but that's not too likely to cause a problem, either. You are allowed two concurrent activations, and the activation counter resets after a period of time, so it's likely you can activate the new install without issue. If you get an activation error you should be able to call the phone, explain the problem, and get a reset at that time.

    It shouldn't.

My ID account has a wrong e-mail, I want to uninstall indesign but I can not do it because I can not access to my account

What is your operating system?  Why do you need to access your Adobe ID to uninstall an application?

  • DELETED instead of uninstalled InDesign. How can I correct?

Like the title says, I've done a stupid thing where I thought I could uninstall InDesign by deleting the whole folder. Now I'd like to reinstall but CC still thinks InDesign is installed.
NOTE: I tried to "uninstall" InDesign initally because the program kept quitting unexpectedly. I figured it might have been an error in the install process because my computer went into sleep during the install.

You could try just taking the foilder back out of the  trash, to restore it (becasue a reinstall probzably isn't going to fix your problem by itself -- see below), but if that doesn't work you'll probably need the cleaner tool: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3 which will remove everything so you can reinstall.
And when things are reinstalled, see Crash | Launch, selecting Type tool

  • Cannot uninstall InDesign CC 2014 trial version

I installed the InDesign CC 2014 trial version and now I cannot remove it from my computer. I go to Control Panel/Uninstall Programs and I cannot find it in the list. I looked in the installation folder of the program for some file that allows me to uninstall it and nothing. When I Installed InDesign I also installed the Adobe Creative Cloud which I could remove without any problem but I am stuck with the InDesign. If anybody can give me a solution...thank you!

  • Adobe Installers didn't uninstall InDesign CS6's Plug-Ins and Utilities

After running "Uninstall Adobe InDesign CS6" in Adobe Installers folder, I noticed that "Adobe InDesign CS6" folder still remains (there are 2 folders inside: Plug-Ins and Utilites) in Application folder. Is it okay to move the remaining folders to trash? What would be the best practice for clean removal?

After Uninstalling the Adobe Indesign from Adobe Indesign uninstaller if some of the files and folders are there in your computer then yes you can move them in trash.

  • Can't uninstall InDesign CS3 trial version

Trying to install CS3 Suite but window says InDesign is already installed. All other programs in Suite install and work fine. No option to install or remove InDesign. Tried dumping InD into trash. Still says program is already installed. Please help. Thanks

I had the same issue. Removed my trial version and still couldn't get CS3 to install InDesign. It kept saying "already installed" and wouldn't even give me the option to uninstall. I trashed my trial installer long ago, but I did some snooping and found that adobe stashes the installer files in your applications support folder. So before you run a CS3clean script, try this easy alternative:
OSX (or whatever your root folder is called) > Library > Application Support > Adobe>Installers> ...now look for the InDesign installer file.
Make sure you're at your in the "Library" folder on your mac's root folder, and not your user folder. The installer files are all letters and numbers, so you'll have to look inside each folder to find the InDesign installer. You'll know it by the purple icon. (You'll probably also see a folder with a CS3 icon and folders for any other stand alone Adobe products in there, too.)
So double click on the InDesign icon and it will take you to the install/uninstall/re-install options for InDesign only. Follow the prompts and viola! It's gone. Now go back to your CS3 disk/download and install the InDesign that came with CS3 and all will be well.
