Uninstall latest version of itunes?
Is it possible to uninstall the latest version of itunes? I'm having all kinds of problems with it. I'd like to go back to the previous version I was using.
If so how do I go about it? I don't have the previous version installer and I'm about as un-tech savvy as they come.

Yes you can. If you Google old apps + itunes downloads or version tracker + iTunes or just old iTunes downloads, you can find previous versions.
Note: Songs you purchased from the iTunes Store or imported from CDs are saved in your Music folder by default and are not deleted by removing the iTunes application.
If you need more specific help, post back. I'm not an expert on the details, but others here could probably assist.

Everytime I go to install the latest version of iTunes I get through most of it, then a window comes up that says "Windows Installer" - "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." - "Click OK to try again, or enter an alternative path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes64.msi' in the box below."
In the drop down dox below the previously stated there are two options:
1) C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\

There is an option to Browse for the porgram but I can never find what it needs. Even when I attempt to uninstall iTunes I receive the same messages as above. I have a Windows 7 PC. I have looked through all the possible Troubleshoots on the Apple website and on the iTunes site and none of them helped. My iTunes works perfectly fine and does everything it is supposed to except when I attempt to install iTunes. I have tried every way possible and still nothing works.

(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

I have just tried to instal the latest version of itunes. It failed and I got a message saying ' An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly' I completely uninstalled itunes and tried to install an earlier version and got the same message. trying to update my ipod but i get the error message network timed out. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of itunes. I also do not have software update in settings on the ipod. How do i get the ipod to update?

First, for the forum view issue. Go to My Settings (on the right) and in General Settings change the Topic Page View to Flat. Click Save. Posts should show up in the order they were written.

Also, since you said that you've gone through the 5 Rs, I would assume that you used the iPod Updater to restore (since there is no other way of doing it and you don't "run" the 5 Rs).
When you restored, did you use the latest updater?
You may also want to try formatting the iPod through Windows. Connect it to the computer and when it appears in My Computer right click it and go to format. Does anything happen? Can you format the iPod through Windows?

If you are on Mavericks (your profile says different) and using Pages 5.0 you should have Pages 09 in the Applications > iWork 09 folder.

I cannot install the latest version of iTunes on my laptop (windows xp). I receive a windows installer error. Am not having any problem installing other software or syncing w iPhone. Made the mistake today of uninstalling my older version and not cannot install new. Need new version in order to sync w new iPad.
Any help would be appreciated.Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

I am getting error 7 - windwos error 126 when installing the latest version of itunes. I tried uninstalling and resinstalling several times. Everytime it tries to start up itunes after install it gives some error about connecting a mobile device and then it gives the error. Help.

I cannot install the latest version of iTunes as it instructed me to uninstall the version I had, which I did, but the "Apple mobile device support" will not uninstall. This has left me with no iTunes and the new version will not install until I can uninstall all the old components. Help please
You could try downloading and installing 7-Zip (free) and downloading a fresh copy of the iTunesSetup.exe installer, unpack the installer into its components using 7-Zip then try installing AppleApplicationSupport again. It may still fail to install but you may get more useful error messages as to why not.

When attempting to update to latest version of iTunes on my PC (11.1.4) I received an error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error as well as: AppleSync Notifier.exe - entry point not found, the procedure entry point sqlite_wal_checkpoint cound not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll.
I unistalled iTunes, then attempted to reinstall. I get to a point where I receive the following response: Service (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
