Uninstall purchased PS and LR4 before installing from creative cloud?
I'm a new CC subscriber with purchased copies of Photoshop (CS6) and LR4. Do I uninstall either or both before downloading the CC versions of both apps?

For PS CS 6, you just need to Deactivate and then activate again with Creative cloud Adobe ID and password.
You can continue using LR as there are no "cloud only" updates available for LR as of now.

I am running Mac OS X (10.8.2) and all of my software is current and up-to-date. I have followed the instructions provided in the error above which says to uninstall the previous Edge Preview and restart the machine. Edge has been removed from my machine (and I can find no traces of it) and I have restarted and I am still receiving this error.

Re-installing from Creative Cloud after hard-drive failure
My hard-drive died, and now I need to re-install my all my software and operating system including a photoshop and lighthouse package which I purchased last week online. will it be a problem to re-install from creative cloud? will it consider I have already downloaded on another machine?

No this is not necessary. You can leave them installed.

Can not install from Creative Cloud
We have Creative Cloud for Teams. I am trying to get some software installed from the cloud for one of the users. Every time I click Install on an application (have tried Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop), it sits for a little while and then says Installation Failed. When I click on the details, the error is "The download appears corrupt. Please try again after a few minutes (-60). I have been trying to install for several hours and keep getting the same error. I also tried to download the Trial version, still get the same error. I need to get this installed as soon as possible for this user. Any suggestions? The OS is Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Chat sessions with two different support techs, and Error 204 still prevents my CC update install.
Meanwhile my boss is paying for CC while I continue to use CS4.

I can't download the Creative Cloud App?
After purchasing CC Complete, it says to click here to download the app and it just takes me to a white page with the four loading squares that just keep circling.

Lightroom error installing from creative cloud
I just signed up for the monthly membership to CC and downloaded LR and PS, both downloaded ok. PS is working but when I went to register the LR I get finished and it gives the error "assertion failed". I have no idea what this means or how to fix it, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have used LR 3 on this computer, but a few months ago it stopped working and I had my son uninstall it from this computer, so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. I was able to use it for a couple years before the problem came up with it and it was removed.I have to say after waiting on 40 people in line ahead of me in customer service chat I finally got through and they fixed the problem, so glad that now I get to play around with my new toys, a early Christmas present to myself

Manual remove of Lightroom causing problems for re-install with Creative Cloud
Ok. I ran the uninstall of Lightroom 5 from the Control Panel on Windows 7 x64. Re-install from Creative Cloud failed. I then removed all registry entries for "Lightroom", deleted all references on hard drives. I deleted the OPM.db file and relaunched Creative Cloud and I still receive the following error (the same error at every step). Normally I would just ask for the msi and try reinstalling that, but I deleted it.

Thanks for your assit.Thanks Jeff this worked like a charm for me. Anyone else looking, I had accidentally deleted a Lightroom file and I could not run, install, repair or uninstall the program and when I tried to re-install from CC it hung at 42% and gave an error code 7. I tried removing all Lightroom folder from everywhere with no effect. Running the MS Fixit utility allowed me to remove the Lightroom app and then I could re-install with no problems.

I should be able to install and run Flash CS6 from Creative Cloud, is it correct? But when I open the Creative Cloud app, the option to install a previous version is not there. Please help.If you only have single subscriptions that might be why. I think you need to have a full Cloud subscription in order to be able to access older applications, not just subscriptions to single applications.
