Uninstall the SAP Client on a PC

When we try to uninstall the SAP Client on a certain PC, we get the following error message :
ERROR 1606. Could not Access Network Location
SQL\DATA\CHANTAL\MIJN AFBEELDINGEN
The network location doesn't exist anamore

Dear André,
There are several approaches to solve that issue, which can happen with each application, but not only SAP Business One.
1) Re-create the network path and save needed installation files of the current PL there - All in all this might be impossible.
2) Save the installation files locally. Search in the registry for the given path and change it to the new location. - Might be still difficult.
3) The easiest way seems to be:
a) Move the current folder which holds SAP Business One Client to e.g. C:Oldclient.
b) Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q290301/.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and install it. Ensure on the same page that
you understand how it works. Finally delete the SAP Business One Client entry with that tool.
c) Install the new SAP Business One client as you would do on a brand-new PC.

  • Error after uninstalling the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.0 on Unix

    Hi all,
I have uninstalled the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.0 on a single solaris server installation. Uninstall was done exactly as instructed in the manual and everything looked ok.
Now when I try to go to the login page of CMC or InfoView I get an error:
    type Status report
    message /PartnerPlatformService/service/app/logon.do
description The requested resource (/PartnerPlatformService/service/app/logon.do) is not available.
Is the login page trying to look for the SAP authentication page that was removed ?
Is there some configuration still remaining somewhere that needs to be removed so I get the old login page back ?
    Thanks for ideas, Timo

Thanks for pointing to the right direction. I changed the tomcat webapps web.xml file parameter and it was enought to start working again.

  • Howto call/open a Windows program on the SAP client?

    Hi all,
in an ABAP report I want to call a program that is installed on the client machine running the SAP GUI, optionally with a parameter. For example, on the client machine a program called "test" is installed, I want to call it from within my ABAP report with a paramter: "C:\program files\test\test.exe -param".
Any ideas how I can do this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Kind regards, Matthias

you create a OS command using SM69 and you can use the Function module SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE  or else
or You can use the method CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>EXECUTE
    or else
    Function GUI_EXEC.

  • How to download the SAP client into text file

    Hi,
I want to download a SAP client to a text file for backup and then upload it again for restoration when needed. Can this be done?

    Hi,
Regarding which data you want to export, you have to select the corresponding profiles in SCC8:
If you want to export transaction data & master data (this is together known as application data), then you have to select the appropriate profile. Alongwith application data, customizing data would also be there, because it cant be transferred alone. ALso, you can choose whether to export user data or not.
But please note that repository data (programs etc) would not be part of this export.
The transaction is SCC8 for client export.
For importing you can import like any other transport request.
For details you could refer to the below link:

  • SAP Client to the SAP Server: internal Error (-1102)[Message 131-183]

    Hi,
    We are using Windows 2008 Server R2, SQL 2008 Standard, SAP B1 8.81 PL08.
When we trying to connect SAP Client to the SAP Server. There has internal Error (-1102) occurred. We can view the database on client, but we always get the same error message after enter the User ID and Password. We have checked the native client and it is installed and also opened the following ports: 1433, 30000, 30001. We have tried to open all of firewall, but itu2019s no use.
When I set a computer in to the engine room and set the network connection, this one can connect SAP Client to the SAP Server.
But when client connect to server by VPN, the IP address will not in the same section. Then We tried to set the IP address has the same network section with the server, but it's still disable.
I set a computer for SAP Server without firewall, complex network, virtual IP and no router in my office. And use a SAP Client which is in different network domain to connect to SAP Server by internet, not VPN, but the SAP Client still canu2019t connect to SAP Server. I get the same internal Error (-1102).
It can not only ping to SAP Server IP, but telnet to the port 1433, 30000, 30001, 445.
When I use a pc with server tools, it can connect to the SAP Server by the localhost license. But if I use a computer only install client and assign the server license. The latter one always got the error.
How could we solve this problem? Is there has another setting I am missing which might be blocking the connection?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
We are using VPN and using Terminal Licensing or Remote Desktop Conneciton.
The idea here is VPN will connect you to the network and when you are connected to the network
dont use the direct LAN IP connection use the Terminal Licensing to connect.
Again both are needed VPN and Terminal Licensing. VPN for the connection and if successfully connected
use or connect from Terminal Licensing or Remote Desktop connections.
    Thanks.

  • How to check the OSS note in SAP Client system ?

    Hi all
I just have a small question ... how do we check whether an OSS note is applied in the SAP client System or not ?
    Please let me know..
    Thanks
    Mallikarjun

    Hi
    1) One way is checking the version and support pack applied.I.e,
On the main SAP screen > Systems > Status > Check details of the "Component version".
    2) STMS > Double click on the system you need to check > Check the status of your request.

  • Finding the correct SAP clients on SAP marketplace is unclear - anybody done it succesfully ?

We are upgrading our enterprise BizTalk to 2013R2 and have succesfully installed clients for everything except the SAP clients.
Having read and followed the relevant directions from the BizTalk server installation files we still have not been able to identify exactly where to locate the 32 bit SAP RFC SDK 7.2 Unicode on the SAP Marketplace. The instructions are let's put it kindly....not
    straightforward.
So any of you guys out there done this succesfully, found and installed the 32 bit SAP RFC SDK 7.2 Unicode for BizTalk 2013R2  ?
Please no links to various instructions on websites, we have been there and they are not sufficient, please only personal succesful experience.
    Thanks in advance :-)

Can you please look into below MSDN post relevant to Biz talk 2013 .Same will be applicable for2013 R2 as well

  • Setting "sap-client" parameter in mx:HTTPService object

    Hi there,
I am having problems setting the "sap-client" parameter on a HTTPService object due to the "-" in the parameter name.
    If I do it like...
    <mx:HTTPService id="vmsplan" url="http://mysaphost.domain.com/sap/bc/bsp/sap/yvms1/vmsdata.xml">
         <mx:request>
              <sap-client>410</sap-client>
         </mx:request>
    </mx:HTTPService>
... I get the compile time error
"1084: Syntax error: expecting colon before minus"
If I do it in ActionScript like this...
                        var parameters:Object = new Object;
                        parameters.sap-client = "410";
                        vmsplan.request = parameters;
    ...the compile time error is...
    "1050: Cannot assign to a non-reference value."
Can anyone help me with this one?
    Thanks
    Graham Robbo

Without running it you should be able to do the actionscript one like this:
    parameters["sap-client"] = 4.10;
Object type objects in the actionscript sense are dynamic and you can think of their properties as nothing more then a dictionary which you can edit freely.

  • Receiver Determination is using the wrong client

When testing out a scenario, I get this error with the receiver determination:
HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden URL: http://rommi:8000/sap/xi/simulation?sap-client=001 User: PIDIRUSER
From this message, I can see that for some reason the sap client is set to be 001, where I really need it to be set to 100.
I have no idea where such a setting is made. Can somebody please advise me?
    Kind Regards,
    Tony.

    Hi Anthony,
Can you give some details of your end to end scenario ?
What is your sender system - XI - receiver system ?
Please give some details of scenario ?
Is it file to file scenario  OR  you are using any R/3 System also ?

  • Having problem with the SAP ERP on HANA trial

Well, I left my SAP ERP Foundation Extension powered by SAP HANA - Fully Activated Appliance Landscape Trial suspended for about a week. When I re-activated the instance, I could connect to the SAP clients but not log in.
I get the "Logon not possible (error in license check)" message.
I also logged into my AWS console to look at the system log.
The log ends with a number of entries like:
    This is R3trans version 6.24 (relesae 741 - 10.10.13 - 20:13:08 ).
    unicode enabled version
    2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = HDB                                                  ---  SERVER = '' PORT = ''"
    R3trans finished (0012).
Is there anyway to fix this? or do I just terminate and start over, again. (yes, this is the forth or fifth time I've had to rebuild).
    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi Brian,
there is a bug in the SAP Kernel which unfortunately invalidates the license after each reboot. We are already working on releasing a new version of the SAP ERP Foundation Extension Trial end of this week/early next week which will fix the error.
Alternatively you might fetch the new kernel from the Service Marketplace (if you have access). You would need SAP Kernel 7.41 PL47 for Linux x86_64. After launching the instance in CAL before it turns "green" in the CAL UI you would need to exchange the binaries after logon via ssh.
Quite complex to do, so the suggestion is to wait until end of this week/early next week until we are able to release a new version of the appliance incl. the fix.
    Best Regards,
      Hannes

The same situation - names are resolved propertly. This issue occurs only on that customer installtion from few days.
I have even upgraded 8.8 from PL14 to PL16 believed that it helps, but helped not...

  • Why the SCCM client always corrupts the WMI repository?

    Hi All,
    I have a Configuration Manager 2012 R2 CU2 installation with hundred of client/servers.
From the initial deploy of the SCCM client, we seen that many machines had a Windows slow logon process.
We searched online for a fix and many people had this problem, suggesting to enable a registry key called
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CCM\Ccmeval\NotifyOnly.
From that date, we fixed the slow logon process problem, but still have problems with operating system's updates installed with SCCM.
In the most cases, when SCCM install updates, it corrupt the WMI database and at the OS reboot, the updates are rolled back.
On the same machines, if we install updates from Windows Updates, we have no problems.
Also, with SCCM installation, we see a lot of "DCOM" or "PerfLib" errors.
Usually, the remote management of a client with SCCM doesn't works because the WMI repository is corrupted, so each time we need to do uninstall the SCCM client and do this:
    1. Disable and stop the WMI service.
         sc config winmgmt start= disabled
         net stop winmgmt
    2. Run the following commands.
Winmgmt /salvagerepository %windir%\System32\wbem      (I noticed that you have run this command, but I would suggest that you try it again)
         Winmgmt /resetrepository %windir%\System32\wbem
    4. Re-enable the WMI service and then reboot the server to see how it goes.
         sc config winmgmt start= auto
    This is very frustrating.
Why the SCCM client create all these problems and how to fix this?
    Thanks for your support.

I think that my case is not isolate.
There are a lot of posts like this:
    http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/8989-wmi-corruption-sccm-2012-win7-sp1/
    http://trevorsullivan.net/2012/11/21/configmgr-2012-ccmeval-exe-causing-client-corruption/
The strange thing is that the WMI corruptions only happens on machine where the SCCM client is installed, even if the machines is without any additional software (fresh windows installation).
In the same time, I need to fix a ProfSvc bug (KB2617858) because the PC become unusable.
Also, why it starts a WMI rebuild if I deploy the client with the "NotifyOnly" option (the registry key is fine)?
So, basically, on a fresh windows machine, as it joins to the domain:
    1) the SCCM client install itselfs
    2) it starts to install several windows updates
    3) at the first restart, it try to rebuild the WMI and the ProfSvc bug appears
May be that the problem is not the SCCM client itself, but a windows update deployed via SCCM client?
