Since installing whatsapp on my phone im experianceing some problems and im now trying uninstall it but i cant find where , how do i do it?

What are the exact issues that you're having with the phone? Aside from WhatsApp, did you download any other apps prior to the issues?
To uninstall downloaded apps, try going to Menu > Apps > My apps. And then, select the app to remove (e.g. Whatsapp), and then press options > Remove or Delete. If you would like to redownload the app that you removed, you can go to Nokia Store > My stuff > Download history.

Nokia 301 app store problems

I have a problem with the Nokia Store app in my Nokia 301 (single SIM) RM-841 v.8.02 S40 phone. It's an unlocked phone.
I opened the store app and it said there was a required update. I said yes and it updated. However, after that, the Nokia Store app doesn't work properly and hangs, and it also displays the icon with a key over it. The Nokia internet doesn't work properly either after the store app update.
I tried to use the recovery tool wich I downloaded from Microsoft. I installed it, connected the phone with the appropiate USB cable, followed the instructions. The recovery tool detected my phone but after that, it just doesn't seem to work and it says installation failed and gets stuck at 10%.
What can I do to solve and/or fix the issue to be able to use the Nokia Store app again and the Nokia internet browser.
I have Windows 7 of 64bit.
Can anyone help me?

On the first (differ), you have to say YES, or the download does not work.
On the second (keep), depends on the app. However, I go for NO usually.
The built-in apps do not have the download URL embedded, when you first update. Furthermore, even the next updates are going to show that warning because the webserver scripts redirect while updating. Therefore, this message. Botching. This is actually a software-bug in the app and webserver scripts. With one experienced computer scientist, this would not have happened.
If you do not keep the data, you start all over – except for apps which store your data online, like the Nokia Store. If you start over, you make sure, you do not have RMS with unexpected settings. This is important, if you used an already updated app, which FOTA downgrades. Because you do not know, if FOTA downgraded an app, NO is the safe way. We saw that with Nokia Xpress on some models. Anyway, again, a software-bug because apps can be designed to handle unknown/future settings easily. Botching.

Transfer app for nokia 301

Hi!
I purchased a nokia 301 device. I would like to transfer my contacts from my old phone, a nokia 700. I would like to install the Transfer app but I do not have a data connection, there is no wifi in this device and of course neither nokia suit nor nokia pc suit recognize nokia 301. So is there a way i could install this app on my phone, so i can transfer my contacts?

eliakwu, scoobyman is right, because Symbian and Series 40 devices offer Bluetooth SyncML (OMA DS). Nokia Transfer is about Windows Phone, Android and iPhone devices because those only offer Bluetooth PBAP.
Another way would be a SyncML service on the Internet, like GMail, because then you can transfer your contacts and with some SyncML services even your calendar items. However, you stated you do not like Internet.

Yes, Nokia Suite does not work, which is confirmed.
PC Suite works after installing the latest Connectivity Driver. Furthermore, do not select the ‘sync and connect’ USB mode because this is PTP. Instead, select the modem mode (USB CDC WMC and ACM). Then, the PC Suite works for several other users on this board. Of course the Map Loader and the Software Updater do not work. Although I am not sure whether the PC Sync feature is enabled. As I do not own a Nokia 310 myself, can anyone else confirm that?

Just use options and select delete to remove the apps or games. As I said, you can similarly remove Angry Birds trial version by deleting it directly using options menu. If it fails to be deleted, then obviously you cannot delete it.
You can also backup everything on your phone to your memory card by using sync and backup option in settings.
You can also move your apps and games especially downloaded from Nokia store application to your memory card to have some internal memory free.

In which month nokia 301 will be released ? Does it have office to read pdf files and Powerpoint + MS Word files ?

The Nokia 301 is released already here in Germany. However, it might take time until it is availble all over the globe, because Nokia does not release a device everywhere at the same time. You would need muc, much more factories at the start, you know.
When it comes to Adobe PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsft Word. No nothing built-in. There are apps on the Nokia Store which add this, however, those are quite limited if you do not convert the files on a computer before. I suggest to go for another Nokia, instead of Series 40, consider a Symbian/S60 device, for example a Nokia C5-00 or Nokia 700.

Netqin ... or any firewall on Nokia 301

Hey,
i used a workaround on my C5-00 (dont use this phone now, cause the quallity of phonecalls was pretty bad) for whatsapp: Used netqin Firewall to block whatsapp internetconection. I don´t wanna be online all the time.
Is it possible to turn off the internetconnection in a s40 device, like the nokia 301? My Samsung Galaxy has a option to switch the mobile internet on and off.
If not, is it possible to get a similar workaround like explained above? (Firewall to block whatsapp... only establish a connection if needed) Does Netqin runs on s40?

hmmm would be super nice if apps are only active if they are on the screen ... more isnt really needed i think ... Problem will be a internetconnection out of my home country ... 3G is pretty expensive there for me
i dont need a smartphone ... just a bit internet for whatsapp, emails.... nothin more.. no apps.. no maps.. no nothin...

Nokia 301 - Can we reinstall same firmware our own...

I have Nokia 301 Dual SIM (RM-839): v. 9.04
Well when I check new software update it says no new. Is there any using which I can update same software again using any secret code or software?
Can Nokia Recovery tool do this thing? (I never used this)
Also can we downgrade to old firmware if we see any issue with new version own.

I managed to connect with Nokia Recovery Software, phone was properly recognized, firmware was downloaded, but problem occurs at stage of installation (at very beginning 10% of progress). Nokia ROM driver is being seeked then it is alert on problem with installing it, 10% of progress info is not changing till alert on missing connection of phone appears. Fortunately nothing was changed. i sent my phone to a customer point. they also tried but failed. finally they told me, it's the problem of phn processor. but i didn't believe as i have seen others have same experience.
btw, my phn firmware is 09.04. i tried to recover sofware as it shows an annoying alert "a prefered sim is needed to keep app online. continue?". what should i do? pls reply

Nokia 301 Freezing

Updated new Firmware, Nokia 301 is freezing with FB open sometimes! had to remove battery to turn it off..wouldnt turn of with Off Key any advice thanks. Using 16GB Memory card in it.

If this will not make any changes, you can perform a soft reset on the phone by going to Menu > Settings > Rest. fact. sett. > Settings Only. You will be asked to put your security code when doing the reset. If you already changed it, just put your personal code. However, if it's not been changed, you can use the default code which is 12345. Let us know whether this troubleshooting procedure helps you out with your concern.

Nokia 301 new update v9.04 received today

My handset : Nokia 301 (RM-839)
I am From India.. today when I checked, I see new update. Downloaded and installed successfully.
version is v9.04. I am unable to find details about change log.
Can anyone provide the same.
Everything is working fine. I received WhatsAPP preinstalled but mistakely I deleted that. But I want it back. Can someone help in this too.

Poor battery life Nokia 301.1

I bought new Nokia 301.1 from original deeler in Latvia with original battery. (checked) But from first day can see poor battery life. (abous 40 min talk , or a day standby, this makes phone unusable) According to forums, many users hassame problem, but i cant find any solution. Latest software update didn't fix any problem. 3G and all internec conection are always off. All posibble energy consuming app are turned off. Can i have solution ? (i can't return phone because 2 weeks passed now)

after creating backup you remove your memorycard and dial *#7370# after you enter 12345 password if you dont change the security code after restoring you enter your memorycard and
goto
>settings
>sync and backup
>restore backup

Cleanup Uninstalled App Data for N9

Recently I installed SolarStrike from the App Store on my N9, which requires 23MB. After uninstalling, I find that the amount of App Data used remains the same as before.
I reinstall it back and ran the game. As I expected, it does remember the previous state of the game, and prompts me to "Continue", instead of "New Game".
Is there any way for me to completely clean up the memory from uninstalled app data?

Actually this is something that you need to look into @ Nokia development. I most certainly do not like to clean up messy application installs/uninstalls. Have had it enough with other platforms.
The thing is that when you want to remove an application the device itself should return to the exact same condition than before installing it with the exception of other installs. Now this should be quite clear or what? This means that no data will be left from the install because eventually it leads to a corrupted operating system.

I have a 5s iphone with 16 GB. My phone storage is basically always full, to the point where I can't take pictures or send them. I only have 10 songs, 912 pictures and 2 apps. I don't use email on my phone, so it seems I should have space to have more apps and take pictures, etc. I looked at my storage manager and just noticed that it says I have 5.6 GB of uninstalled apps. I can't delete the apps from the apps store on my phone, even though they're not on my phone and when I logged into my apps store on my laptop, it said there were no apps... How can I get my space back on my phone? Does anyone know of a way to delete the apps or what to do in this situation?

Did you try to set it up as new device, as explained in this article?
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If this does not work, use iTunes to set it back to factory settings, which would also install the latest software:

copied those two certificates in my local machine(base machine) D drive
(D:\Cert)
Both VM and base machine are in same domain
Installed VS 2013 in my base machine and create a Provided hosted app with the copied certificates, (For creation i followed the above mentioned URL)
Just created and hit F5 to run in my base machine, but getting this error

Hi Harminder,
This happens because an app has already been deployed and you are deploying it again using the same version.
Resolution:
Open the AppManifest.xml file and change the version.
